    The ice wine is delicious.

Conveniently located right by the PA Renaissance Fair. After a day of walking, Mount Hope will feel like an oasis. The location itself is kind of like a souvenir shop with wines, trinkets, shirts, etc. The bar area is fairly large and staff is welcoming and happy to chat. Obviously during peak seasons (wine trails, the fair) it can get very busy and they do their best to keep things moving. The wines are decent to good. They tend to be sweeter and I'd say they work best as dessert wines. Plenty of choices; maybe a smidge high for what they are. I recommend the Ice Wine if they have it in. Save the bottle for a cold, wintry night and enjoy with some baked goods.

We were confused when we pulled up. There was thousands of cars in the parking lot when we pulled up. I was under the impression that they were all here for the winery and brewery. I don't fully understand the setup, because they had a building for the winery but the location was where the bottle sales is at. We went there and sampled some wine. Whatever you wanted to sample at no cost. I purchased a couple of bottles of wine. The wines were good. This is not really a place where you can have a glass and sit down.

Great stop on our weekend wine tour! Great wines, reasonable tasting rates, and friendly staff. Distillery, hard cider, and wines, so a little bit for everyone!

I went to here last weekend without plan ..but i had a good time with tried a lot of wines and services was very nice and funny . The price is ok ...cause I don't know much about price about alcohol but start 9.99 to $20 ..if you buy 12 bottle to up , you will have 20% off ...that is not bad at all . Around there have speak building like castles ..you can check it out around but I guess they make small tour for you ...( not sure about it ) But absolutely I will come back again and I will buy a case lol

Awesome! No limits on how much you can taste! So many goodies it was hard to choose. Definitely will go back.

    Nice selection for tasting!

Set on rolling Pennsylvania countryside, the views are straight out of a postcard. It's peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down (in the best way). The wine list is well thought out, approachable yet refined, with something for every palate. Nothing felt mass-produced or rushed and each pour had intention behind it. The staff deserves real credit: knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they're pouring. They guide you without the wine snob energy, which makes the experience feel relaxed and inviting, whether you're a casual sipper or a full-on wine enthusiast. This stop elevated our Lancaster trip and added a fresh layer to a tradition we already love. Grandview Vineyard isn't just a winery, it's an experience worth building into your itinerary. We'll be back. No question. For photos, wine highlights, and more travel-food stops worth the drive, check out @travelingtastebuds_

It doesn't necessarily look like that as you drive up. The only downfall is that there is only one restroom. The pricing seemed decent. I was super pleased that they had a small selection of mocktails. Their strawberry lemonade spritz wasn't too sweet or too tart! It was just right. My friends seemed to enjoy all the wine choices! Additionally, the crab pretzel was amazing!! The charcuterie boards looked worth it. Plenty of seating and a live band was set up around 6/630, but we left just as they were coming in. Highly recommend and would come back (even as a sober lady!).

This was a very different thing than I expected. I'm giving it 5 stars for what it is (rather than…read morewhat I was expecting). 1) Their wine is all from Northern California. If you're thinking you'll be trying PA wines, that is not the case. If you're wanting a change from PA wines, this is a great opportunity! 2) This is a wine tasting place in a strip mall. From the outside it's extremely unassuming... but it's well labeled, so you can be confident you're in the right place. The inside looks as you'd like: spacious, clean, room to relax. As I was sitting inside, casually doing a tasting, I completely forgot we were in a strip mall. Well-done! An added bonus of the location: there are a LOT of good food choices nearby! The prices. Yowza! I did like some of the wines, but not enough to pay for the bottle (~$40). But I enjoyed a tasting ($10 for 4 tastings) and also ordered an extra glass of wine. They have 2 fixed tasting menus to choose from. I asked to switch out one of the wines for a different one, and that wasn't a problem at all. The customer service was nice. The woman was friendly and attentive, and not obtrusive or pushy. She was there when I wanted her, but was also content to let me sit, relax, and enjoy the wine. I love the ambience. There are a lot of tables and chairs, placed nicely around so you can enjoy your own space or have a nice drink with friends without being on top of each other. A wine bar of sorts. It is nicely decorated - feels warm and welcoming.

It's in a strip mall, but is quite large and nice inside with artwork and wine themed displays. It just seems like they are incredibly overwhelmed when we come in. I don't know if they need more staff or what. I'm going to focus more on the most recent visit. I called to make reservations (you are supposed to) and the woman who was working seemed shocked that I wanted to make same day reservations. However, she agreed. We went in and there was some sort of loud group in one of the rooms. At first she seemed very attentive to us. However, the amount of wine poured for the tastings this time was so small and that was shocking. When you get the local flavor deal, apparently you are supposed to get bigger pours (this is what she ended up telling us and what we've been told before) You also get goat cheese, crackers, etc. which are quite nice. Also, really, their wine isn't great. It's more for the experience it took us this many times to really realize it. Anyways, after the first second tasting, our server vanished for about 20ish minutes. She finally came back to give us our 3rd tasting (you get 4) and that was it for at least another 20ish minutes. All in all we spent about an hour and a half and that was because of all the wait times. Another couple came in and sat at the bar who didn't have the deal; it was obvious they were worth the attention more than us local flavor people. I really advise them to stop doing this deal. They get overwhelmed easily and I ended up feeling like I was hounding them to serve us. I wanted a glass of wine (an actual glass at the end) and my wife had to go up to the woman to ask for one for me. It was over 13.00. Not worth it... I'd rather go get a nice cocktail some place for that price. Inevitably, The local flavor deal is not even that great of a deal, particularly when you feel like you are being put on the back burner in favor of other customers. We won't be going back.

There are a few 15 minute parking spots available right across the street, but with no one policing them, it can take twice as long waiting for a space to open up. The staff is very accommodating, and they understand the difficult parking situation.
