We've owned our Culligan water softener and pH adjusting system for literally 25 years. During this time we've always found Culligan service to be timely and responsive. (Shout out to Kristen). I would add for the past 10 years we've had the same tech (Dave,) and his skill set is exceptional and he explains all the problems found and "fixes" for those problems. Granted: we should have asked for the cost before allowing the service to be performed. But 45 minutes of work cost $370. They replaced the medium in the water neutralizer, that's all they did. My husband had to help the guy open the unit. So there is an extra charge if the homeowner helps! (Jk) When we priced the medium online, we found the exact same brand and product for $26.00 total without shipping for 20 pounds. Culligan charged us $200! That's a hell of a markup. I do not recommend using this store. If you do, be aware of what you're paying for ahead of time. We had the owner of AquaTec replace the medium in the past, but he sold to Culligan. Now, we're not just old customers of the previous owner. We purchased from Culligan an expensive water softener because my husband did not want to do the installation himself. This company was very responsive when selling us a new water softener a couple years ago for about $5,000 and the installation went well. I wish I could say the same for followup maintenance but I can't. Our system showed a message call Culligan and we did thinking the system needed more salt. The salt delivery went fine but after the salt delivery was completed and the employee left we noticed the message still displayed call Culligan. Upon further checking the message on the softener we noticed a message brine block. We called our local Culligan office in Tulsa and Linda said the maintenance supervisor was out that we would get a call as soon as he returned. That was yesterday and today we still have not received a return call. I called Culligan again this morning, spoke with Linda, and received the same information. As of this time, I still have not received a call from anyone at Culligan to help me with a problem on a water softener that needs attention. I hope I don't end up with my home being flooded because of a brine block. Culligan reps say we should have salt delivery by Culligan as the staff check the softener to ensure that it is working properly. This has not been my experience. read more

In the days of everyone buying drinking water because of fear of the unknown if we don't stop the landfills from filling up with plastic bottles our next generations are going to be building on shaky grounds from all the landfills of plastic and other non decomposing items in the ground .
