We recently had our main pipe in the basement back up and start to overflow and Mr. Rooter was…read morerecommended to us by another plumber friend. I checked the reviews online and they were less and approving, but we went for it anyway.... And I'm very we did. The gentleman that came out was very friendly and explained everything fully about what he thought may be happening and explained the costs that were going to be involved. I also appreciated he showed up on time. He had to try a few different options to what the best way to tackle the problem would be, he chose the route that would not cause further damages (such as removing toilets and wrecking the caulking in place etc). He worked efficiently and kept us in communication if what was going on. He sent the rod in to unclog the pipes and pull out all the crap that gets stuck and then sent the rooter in after to tidy up any left overs and cut away roots that were sneaking in between the pipe joints (which happens over time) I felt informed and comfortable with the information he provided. I told him he could wear his shoes in, and he even had little plastic booties to cover them so he wouldn't bring in snow and mud. But it didn't really matter anyway, as before he left he even cleaned up and decontaminated the floor. It was a little more expensive that I would have hoped, but not more than what I was expecting and realistically, it's a nasty job and I'm willing to pay the cost so I don't need to do it. It was just under $600 all said and done.

We received several calls to approve and finally a technician was sent. This worker was not a journeyman plumber. They are "drainage experts". He called with a quote of $2000 on top of the $200 service call. We asked for him to only clean 3 P-traps and remove the standing water in the dishwasher. We told him to leave after that. He did provide pictures via text. We managed to tell the tenants how to flush the drains. Everything is working now. The quote was inflated and unnecessary.

I purchased a Santevia water filter tank listed as "on sale." It was only after I paid that the…read moreinvoice noted the item was "cracked" and "damaged". This is a major safety risk for a water filtration system, yet my original receipt made no mention of this damage. When I immediately contacted the owner, Wanda, to cancel, she refused. She claimed the order had "already shipped" and could not be stopped. She tried to justify selling broken safety equipment by claiming the damage was disclosed, but that text was buried far down the page, well below the "Add to Cart" button where it was intentionally difficult to see. Wanda eventually agreed to refund the item but refused to refund the shipping cost ($28.35), claiming it was too late because the item had shipped. This was a lie. The tracking number confirmed the package never left their facility; the status remained "Label Created" for a week. Most egregiously, Wanda admitted in a later email that she did void the label and received a full refund from Canada Post. She explicitly stated she was retaining my shipping funds to cover "the time it took" to process the order. She essentially admitted to pocketing money for a service (Freight) she never rendered and for which she was fully reimbursed. To make matters worse, they have already re-listed the cracked, unsafe tank on their website, likely hoping the next buyer won't notice. Do not trust this business.

When i got their they were so outgoing and happy to see me, they asked if i needed help and boy did i. I found that they could have shut down during Covid but they stayed open to help and support the community. Right on, this is a business i love to support.
