The V.A. doesn't provide dental care for veterans. They recommended that I call PRDC, "a non-profit clinic that provides affordable, high quality dental care." I was told that they serve everyone, from low-income families and retirees, to Vets. I find that their admin assistants, Cari and Cheri, to name two, are patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and like what they do. Regarding my actual treatments, I can only speak about Morgan and Dr Williams. But I can say that those two will treat you with a level of care and kindness that I'm sure they do their own family members. Smiling (behind their masks), positive and upbeat, they assessed my somewhat complicated issues, presented me with all of my options, and together we came up with a plan. I couldn't be more satisfied. I have to say, even the dental assistants, doctors and staff that I passed in the hallways were engaging and pleasant. Their default seems to be to have a calming effect and minimize the fear factor, for children (and adults!) It's obvious that they all believe deeply in their mission. If you haven't been able to afford the high cost of dental insurance and/or the extreme prices typically charged by most dental clinics, call them. I asked what it would be without fluoride and they said $205. I didn't ask when I made appt. Just assumed they'd be similar in price to other dentists i had been too. When I paid, asked for self pay discount which brought it down to $184. We moved from out of state. So I thought maybe it's just more expensive here in Virginia. Called a bunch of offices after my kids appt that I paid $184 for. They all charge only $89-$99 for a cleaning. Some of those even include fluoride. They were very professional! But charging double the price as your competitor is a little wild. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I recently took my two year old here for her first cleaning. I must say that I was very impressed and it met my expectations, and beyond. When we first walked in, the front desk reception sent us to two sinks in the back to wash our hands, as it is their practice for everyone to wash their hands upon entering and to also wears masks. We came around Christmas time and Santa was there taking free pictures with the children and the center was decorated festively. You can tell they really enjoy making the children happy and feel welcomed. There were children crying during their cleaning, but they have many strategies to attempt to calm them. For example, they painted my daughters nails during her cleaning to distract her. They also gave her a teddy bear to clean it's teeth. As well as even though she was not comfortable laying the normal way on the medical bed, and preferred to lay sideways, the dentist followed her and cleaned her teeth where ever she was calm and comfortable. The staff is also diverse culturally. There is a free parking lot out front with ample spaces. So far, I will be back and this will be our pediatric dentist.

First, Dr. Khurana and her team developed and implemented a treatment plan for my 4 year old son who needed extensive dental work. We probably consulted with five dentists and she was the only one that offered a plan we felt comfortable with. She talked us through everything before and after the procedure which took place in a hospital setting under anesthesia, making us feel like our son was extremely well cared for in this unsettling situation. Their hospital coordinator Britnee was also fantastic to work with and helped answer numerous questions we had. Separately, Dr Nirali and her assistant Jordan have performed two fillings for my seven year old daughter. They are so incredibly good with kids and skilled at what they do that my daughter actually said getting fillings there was FUN and she didn't experience any pain on either occasion. When I told her she would be all done fillings after the second visit she was DISAPPOINTED. That is not a thing! I really can't say enough good things about this dental practice. Just today I had to bring in my youngest, a three-year-old, who had 2 very bad cavities. Not only did the dentist tell me ahead of time in a prior appointment about what was going to be needed, but I got the price ahead of time and was able to book an appointment within the month. The staff made everything incredibly comfortable from my very timid three-year-old to the point where he felt so relaxed he had no problem. They use TV screens for the kids to watch (Netflix kid programs) as they perform the procedures and keep everything very light and calm. When he had to get the actual service of filling the cavities/getting a cap, he was made to feel calm and relaxed. The procedure was done in 30 minutes. Thank you red Apple for helping build another wonderful positive dentist relationship with another child. They do offer gas for cavity services. Also, children receive a coin at the end to pick a prize.

She had an opinion of what needed to occur but took it to a panel of oral surgeons to review. She got us in touch with an amazing oral surgeon that worked very closely with her. My son had his surgery (braces were needed for this process) . He is now pain free ! Dr Eppard was so caring and wanted him to have the best outcome possible. I will forever appreciate all of her skill and determination. It means the world to me that my son doesn't have to live with jaw pain for the rest of his life. I wouldn't go anywhere else for braces .
