Set up my appointment through the yelp app not sure if it would work, but when I walked through the door my barber Allen said "Are you Daniel?" So I knew I was all set. Allen was super friendly and helped me figure out what I wanted to do and then executed it perfectly. Great cut. Great location. Friendly atmosphere. Reasonable price. Some kid got his hair cut here and didn't have money to pay. One of the barbers told him to cut my hair. As he said he cut hair. At this point I was going to walk out but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He cut my hair and fucked it up. I don't think the business model is fair to the customers that walk in expecting a hair cut to be by experienced barbers. He has me pay the kid that cut my hair so he could pay off his hair cut. I made an appointment for 11:00AM for a haircut and everything was good until 10:39PM. Its really disrespectful to cancel an appointment 20 minutes before. Time management is my strong suit. So I showed up at the Barbershop thought I would just wait the extra 15 minutes. But I get a text saying my appointment was cancelled. Went in for my 1 year olds first haircut. While the shop was not little kid friendly (wobbly booster pads and man-sized smock), the stylist was so chill and laid back that my boy didn't even realize what was happening. Stylist calmly cut even while he moved his head around. It was a good experience, but not super memorable as far as service or ambiance. read more

Either I have bad luck or management of this barbershop is poor. I've been here five times and though each time I made a appointment for a haircut; everytime I had to wait nearly a hour or more to get my haircut. What is the point of making a appointment when I have to wait for such a long period of time and "walk ins" are able to get a haircut before I do? I know "most" of the barbers in the shop are skilled at cutting hair but I also recall a past experience where I had a unskilled barber cutting my hair. I had made a appointment with Santos a few months ago and he showed up late, so I was assigned to another barber I was not familiar with. This barber - I don't remember his name - took nearly two hours to give me a medium skin fade with a combover. During the haircut, I told him that I had plans to attend to later in the day and that he needed to hurry up and finish my haircut. So he had to get two other barbers to assist in cutting my hair, if those two other barbers didn't help out, I would have been there all night. Obviously, he seemed to be an inexperienced barber (I overheard that he would come in on Saturdays as a fill in and he was just learning how to cut hair), I should have been notified about his inexperience prior to recieving a haircut as I would have never accepted a haircut from him. I come to this establishment expecting professional business practices and a awesome haircut, however, this place frequently falls short of the former. I know this place gets busy and things happen, but people who make appointments should not have to wait a hour pass there assigned time to recieve a haircut. This has happened everytime I have been to this establishment and something needs to change. These guys are a bunch of young 20 somethings who are chill, have a super friendly atmosphere and are surprisingly good at what they do! I'm only giving this place a 2 star cause some of the barbers do have talent and can cut. However for the life of this shop can't ever be on time or reliable or respectful for anyone's time but there's. My husband and our son used to come here, the cut is ok for what you pay for. Pretty pricey for a child haircut. My son is mix and when he gets a cut the hair just looks so uneven and just not pleased on what I pay for. This place is absurd! We would wait on average about an hour for a cut with an appointment. Nothing special with the cut. No wash just a trim, fade in the back and lineup. We've had a few incidents that just shakes your head. My son walked in one day and waited for almost 2 hours and not being seen. So ridiculous! Yet he still kept coming back cause we haven't seen a barber up around the area that we truly liked. But the last few times we have waited for a long time till he is seen. The most recent incident was last Sunday 11/3. Where we booked our appointment through Booksy. It was schedule for 12 pm. Upon arrival the shop was closed. Which was funny because I had a reminder text for the appointment that same day yet no courtesy text that they would be closed. In addition got another text that they have rescheduled my appointment for the following day at 2 pm without even checking if that date and time would work for me. Honestly save your time and money and find another barber. We found a great barber that's not too far from this place and service was way better!!! They were kind and respectful of your time.
