After 20+ yrs of getting my hair cut from one barber I decided it was time to try someone else out. I get try and get my hair cut every week as I like the feeling and look of a tight fade. I wanted to make sure that I found a new barber that was consistent and that was good at cutting Asian hair. I found Hamed on Yelp and was skeptical as finding a good barber is very hard hence why I stuck with the same barber for over 20+ yrs and some reviews on Yelp have not been as accurate as my prior experience. I called and Hamed was able to fit me in within an hour and he said he was familiar with my type of cut. I walked in and the place was very clean and loved the decor. The music and TV were great to keep you entertained. Hamed took his time to learn how I wanted my hair cut in addition to suggesting a few changes to make it look better and easier to maintain. I love how his fade is very fluid and that he uses a straight razor to line me up. Over all I am VERY satisfied with the cut and service at Mens Grooming Salon. I just went in on Tuesday and since them have had tons of compliments on my cut. I even had a great compliment from a gentleman who manages another well known barber shop. He initially thought I got my hair cut from one of his barbers but when I told him i went to see Mens Grooming Salon he said that my cut was on point. I have been on a mission to find an amazing barber, and now I can finally relax because Ahmed gave me the best cut I have had in years. I have been to a ton of barbers around the Seattle/Lynnwood/Bothell/Everett area, and none compare to Ahmed. I am very picky when it comes to my haircut, to the point where I keep bouncing from barber to barber. I usually Google/Yelp barbers in the area and see if their ratings match the experience, and out of all the barbers, Ahmed truly deserves 5 stars. I called around 11 am asking for a cut ASAP, and he was able to schedule me within the next hour. The atmosphere is relaxing, chair was comfortable, just a nice looking place overall. Ahmed put extra detail in my hair, making sure I got exactly what I wanted, and it didn't take forever either. Not once did I feel my hair get pulled from the clippers. He also gave me tips on how to treat my hair since it is usually dry, as well as a little neck message. Lastly, the price is definitely a huge plus! I've paid way more for a haircut at different places (Barbers/Salons), and the price here is definitely budget friendly and affordable. Hamed does a fantastic job with my hair and I always leave feeling refreshed and looking good. He knows what's in style and always delivers. What's more, the environment at his barber shop is very relaxing and clean. I legitimately enjoy talking to Hamed and respect the way he runs his business. I have been getting hair cuts by Hamed for over 6 years. He has his own shop now and is very professional. I've been to countless shops where the barber is either skilled but not professional or is professional and not skilled. It is somewhere I can bring my kids or wife with me and they would feel comfortable and that means a lot to me. I've made appointments last minute or sometimes just walked in and got a cut. I have been coming to Ahmed for many years now. Most barbershops or barbers will give you a good cut and when they know they have you as a client will slowly start to take less time on your haircut or try and get you in and out fast! Hamed gave me the most precise and meticulous cut I've ever had. He really took his his time to make sure everything was right on. I don't usually watch the process during a cut so I was immediately surprised at the quality when I looked in the mirror at the end. The shop inside is clean, well decorated and has the cool old barber chairs. To be upfront and honest, I never went here. I was hoping to go here and planned to for weeks, but when I called the owner answered and didn't seem at all interested in helping me. I was shocked and dismayed. I will not give him a second chance and I may have dodged a bullet. Upon checking Google it appears he is hiding.
