Okay, now that I've actually tried all of the goodies I purchased from Cumberland Farms, I can write a somewhat informative review (gotta get that first one down!). I mean I've been waiting long enough for the place to be ready, driving by each day, seeing construction slowly build up for this convenience/gas spot. Finally, its doors opened, and apparently they'll never close (open 24 hours does well for late night Cumberland adventures). I honestly would have no idea what a Cumberland Farms was if I hadn't once stopped for gas at a Maryland location. Though I filled up on fuel, there was no entry into the actual store, so I really consider this my first Cumberland experience. It was cool-ish. I give it the "ish" because there's some nice stuff goin' down inside CF. For starters, they've got that whole order-food-on-a-screen thing that Wawa does so well. I didn't search through options, but I'm intrigued to come back and see what kinds of concoctions I can create. Beyond this, they have self serve breakfast rolls (I had a relatively tasty/spicy supreme omelet one) and hotdogs plus a place that should hold a bunch of sandwiches (these shelves were empty so maybe in the future?). Past the hot grub, Cumberland has their own line of different snacks and such that I went after to help give me a better gauge on quality. A southwest trail mix and a bag of mint chocolate chip cookies were my bounty and both sufficed in flavor with the cookies winning out as an intriguingly different choice. I was going to grab a Cumberland soda but scoffed at the 78 grams of sugar in each one. Instead, a pre-bottled CF French Vanilla iced coffee made its way into my throat with enjoyable results (even if I prefer my coffee a little more fresh). I'd probably balance this all out to about 3 1/2 stars and round down with intention on coming back, but I'm gonna go upwards simply due to the friendliness of the employees. There were probably four or five people behind the counter and each of them smiled and went out of their way to say hi and welcome. It's a nice change of pace from other gas station employees who usually look like their souls have been sucked from their bodies. Maybe this won't last, but it made an impression today (so hopefully it does!). Overall, this was probably a way-too-long review for a Cumberland Farms, but hey, that's how I roll, plus I was excited to see the place finally open and plan on coming back for more. With round the clock access to decent snack selections, drink options, made to order food (can't speak on the quality yet), and (the always-needed) gas, it makes for an intriguing addition to the NHP area. So swing by and welcome yourself to the farm.

Clean. Good coffee selections. Oat milk creamer was a plus. Friendly cashier. Busy at lunch hour so parking was limited.

This repair shop is truly the worst…read more I visited to get a car inspection. However, without looking at the car for 10 minutes, they say there are three problems. The first is that the parking brake does not work, the headlight is raised on one side, and the windshield wiper is defective. I've just come to the United States, so my English is bad. So I simply asked if I could have my car inspected, and he asked me two questions. When I said I wasn't sure, he suddenly said, "God bless you," and I was so shocked that I kept asking if it was possible to replace the car inspection sticker. He said it was possible, so I went to see it. So I went to see him, and within 10 minutes he was telling me that he had failed the car inspection. At the same time, they only asked me to pay $37 and that the sticker could be replaced only after the car was repaired. I was so angry that I just left and went straight to another repair shop, where they very kindly explained that I needed to get my car inspected in April and told me to come back next month. So I asked if there was a problem with my car, and they said there was no problem. This repair shop is truly the worst. I will never go again. I have accepted many car inspections, but this is the first time in my life that I have accepted a rejection because it was unsafe due to issues with the Parking brake, windshield wipers, lights, and reflectors. Other repair shops do not participate in any problems. Regardless of the money, I feel so wronged and angry that I can't stand it. I mistakenly thought that the car inspection was in March, but another friendly repair shop said that I should have the car inspected in April, not this month. They also inspected the car and found that there was no problem, so I could get the inspection right away next month. But this bad person didn't even check properly and told me to pay $37 for the inspection fee. I feel so wronged and angry that I can't stand it. I looked into the criteria for failing the New York car inspection. But there wasn't a single part that applied to me. This repair shop is truly a scammer. Brakes Worn brake pads or damaged rotors. Leaking brake fluid from hoses or the master cylinder. Inability to achieve a straight stop without pulling to one side. Seatbelts Malfunctioning retractor mechanism. Worn or frayed belts. Inadequate anchorage points, particularly for models from specific years (1967 and 1968). Lights Non-functional headlamps, tail lamps, stop lamps, directional signals, backup lights, and hazard warnings. Damaged or cloudy light covers that impair light effectiveness. Windshield And Auto Glass Cracks or chips in the driver's line of sight. Wipers that fail to clear the windshield effectively. Missing or non-functional rearview mirrors. Tires Tread depth below the legal minimum of 2/32 inch. Visible sidewall damage or bulges. Incorrect tire size or type for the vehicle. Emission Control Systems Failure to meet state emission standards. Malfunctioning sensors or catalytic converters. Check engine light that remains on. Steering And Suspension Excessive play in the steering wheel. Faulty power steering components. Worn suspension parts that affect vehicle handling. Horn Non-operational or not loud enough to be heard from a reasonable distance. Malfunctioning switch that makes the horn difficult to operate. Exhaust System Leaks or excessive noise. Missing components. Modifications that increase emissions. Fuel System Leaks from tanks or hoses. Damaged or missing fuel cap. Contaminated fuel. These are the most common issues that could cause a vehicle to fail the inspection. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition before inspection

Why? The # 1 asset - the wonderful, kind, proactive , always working, multitasking employees especially Gurmit and Jose( pronounced with the J and not the H). I am a regular who is there predawn on my way to 26, Federal Plaza in the city with this store about 70 seconds south of the LIE at that time. These awesome workers are stocking, opening up boxes, running to the register, dealing with inebriated and entitled customers who put a couple of thousand pennies on the counter, insist they have money in their 7 Eleven wallet when they don't, start eating and finishing a microwave heated burrito before paying for it and throwing away the wrapper; others who make a mess at the coffee counter and leave their napkins and stirrers on the counter with the trash bin 18 inches away, muddy footprints all over. This is not the employees version - this is first hand for me! I have seen it. Been there also when the power was out and the store was pitch dark as a couple of young ones tried to be slick and get away with sneaking out some goodies. So hats off to these patient, calm , risk taking and kind workers who keep going and getting that line moving and 7 types of fresh coffee flowing& the floor mopped despite all this! This is a busy, busy location with medical offices just 100 yards west, a hospital a mile or so north and non stop auto and truck traffic going to the 2 parkways and expressways 2 minutes north on the crazy busy New Hyde Park Rd. It is always a pleasure to go to this store and leave with a smile and a hot beverage. Thank you Gurmit and Jose!

First time here was for the novelty of getting a slurpee and was yelled at for choosing the wrong size. Second time here I tried to use a credit on the app and a clerk here "Mariola" would not honor my credit. She told me to use the app to chat with 7-11, but she had no idea how to do it. Mariola then told me to call 7-11 corporate at an 800 number. No service, evasive, just passing the buck. It was obvious that she didn't care and didn't want to be there. Embodiment of the 7-11 lethargy and mindset. We all went right down the block to Cumberland Farms, no issues at Cumbies, good service, no runaround.
