This Cumberland Farms is frustrating. They're always out of the energy drink I get, yet the other location across town seems to have it every time. It makes no sense--same chain, but totally different experience. Either they're not ordering enough, not restocking properly, or just don't pay attention to what sells. I've stopped counting how many times I've walked in, checked the cooler, and walked right back out. This is the worst getting into and out,there are many pumps here even more than South Main Street Cumberland Farms. The Fountain area is always kinda dirty, the Coffee Bar is pretty decent, Coffee is full and fresh that is a plus. Food is fresh and when ask for something they usually don't have a problem making it. I seen so many people abusing the Cashier's asking for ID for cigarettes since it is their job, and the Management tells them to smile never refuse a sale and take the Customer's abuse. It's not too bad a Cumberland Farms - many pumps, good store, outdoor seating. The problem is cars coming in and out. There look like there are two entrances - one right by the light intersection at 202 and Torringford Road, and one next to Printmaster on 202. Hear me people - you are supposed to use the entrance by Printmaster. The entrance by the intersection is for deliveries only. It's why they put a sign there. Not a good sign, it could be clearer, but it's not for cars. Yes, I understand using the entrance by Printmaster will back up traffic - it's a terrible design made when they decided to put yet gas station on 202. But other people using it may be the best way for you to get out, especially if you're turning left. read more

Had to make an emergency bathroom break on my way home from dinner last night. I knew Cumberland Farms would be open and has a bathroom (and snacks lol). It was around 10pm and the bathroom was cleaner than I expected. Especially for a gas station bathroom. Grabbed my free reward sodas and some snacks. As usual though, the rewards items were out of stock or almost out of stock. There was one "coke creation" left and the other free soda was for a 20oz or 2L bottle but there were no 2L bottles left. Also the Tylenol I needed was out of stock which is kind of a headache... But otherwise the store is in good shape, cashiers are always friendly and now I know the bathrooms are a safe bet. read more

This clean, well-stocked Cumberland Farms is now about a year and a half old, and we find ourselves stopping by fairly frequently. They have eight pumping stations so even on busy days cars seem to move along, and inside the staff have been consistently friendly and alert. We do love their 99-cent coffee, and the quality of their food items has gone up over the last year, too. There used to be a problem when the Torrington police tried to keep people heading south on Main from turning into a lane marked for delivery trucks only. That made no sense and ultimately the police stopped caring, perhaps with the encouragement of Cumberland since it was an annoyance to drivers. Anyhow, all good now, it seems. read more

We love Cumbies!! This spot opened recently and were so happy we have one that's closer to us! This store is clean and well maintained and I hope it stays this way. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love coming here early in the morning to get my coffee and hot quick snacks before headed to work best coffee deal ever!! 99¢ for any size!!! And on selected holidays they give out free coffee. Just because they're coffee is affordable, it doesn't mean that they've sacrificed the taste. Nice big clean Cumbies, like the one back home. Easy in and out with plenty of parking and eight gas pumps. The girl behind the counter was the usual super nice which is appreciated greatly. Big soda fountain and coffee area with frozen slushies. read more

I was just at our local Cumberland farms store on Migeon Ave in Torrington CT. I was waiting my turn in line when the cashier yelled out in annoyance 'There's no coffee or fountain drinks after 3:00 ma'am! I hadn't mentioned even wanting one. I was just looking at it the area while waiting my turn. I said ok thank you for telling me. When it got to be my turn I told him I needed gas and he rang up my items. Gave me the total. As I put my money on the counter I asked if he was grouchy. He literally yelled at me. Again "Do you want to at games?! I was taken back.....I said what? Play games? He said yeah and I can ask you to go put on a mask because it is our policy. He then points to the sign above him. I said oh..... I did have my mask in my pocket but before I could even say another word he flung my money off the counter and told me to go get my gas and things somewhere else. I picked my money up off the floor and left. I frequent this store and have done so for years. I asked him his name while I was picking up my money He said Cory. I want something done about this person representing your store It was terrible. There were people behind me and Im also sure it's all on camera. And exactly as I have explained it.
