I took my car to Pine Hill Service Station in Holbrook. NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS PLACE TO SERVICE…read moreYOUR CAR!!!!!!! I took it in, got an estimate, made an appointment to have the work done. SCOTT decided that he had an open ended work ticket and could do whatever work he wanted to do without informing me of any changes or new charges. When I went back in to pick up my car I was told that he did 3 times the work we agreed on and the price more than doubled. He told me that if I couldn't pay the bill in full that he would hold my car and charge me a daily storage fee until I could!!!!!! He was extreemly cocky, he was smirking and yelling at me. He let me and my friend know just how pissed off he was that the balance couldn't be paid that day and made it very clear that I wasn't getting my car back. The guy that has been doing stickers there for 20+ years came out to the waiting area and was going off about the "piece of shit" that I brought into the shop. When he finally noticed I was sitting there he just laughed and walked away. I couldnot believe that I was being YELLED at by the mechanic SCOTT and then the sticker guy and then they hijacked my car/wallet. Oh and by the way I still had to bleed my own breaks because they couldn't be bothered doing that. To be clear I NEVER APPROVED THE WORK HE DID. I WAS NEVER INFORMED THAT HE WOULD BE DOING ADDITIONAL WORK. This place is full of hijacking thieves! do not use this shop!!!!!!!!!

There was never a problem making deliveries to my property until 1/22/2020 when their driver informed me he was not allowed to deliver due to enforcement of their company policy. When I called and spoke with Jeff Wild he was less than customer centric and hide behind a company policy that even they were not in compliance with having delivered to me routinely. Instead of working with me to resolve the problem so I would not run out of oil and to allow time to install the safety whistle to bring my tank up to safety standards, he refused and stated he is not in the customer service business and he could / would not break their company policy, yet their deliveries went on for years to my whistleless oil tank. He was more about firing his own drivers who delivered over the years, which seemed extreme when Thrifty failed to notify their regular customers whose tanks do not have the safety whistle to install one before further deliveries could be made. This is very poor customer service and as a result of their mishandling they have lost my business and will never be considered as a referral to friends or family. I am appalled that this company would rather see their own employees lose their jobs than to work with a regular customer to resolve a problem. It's time Jeff Wild wakes up and realized he is in the customer service business. Perhaps Thrifty Oil company needs to take a closer look at his performance before he places blame on his drivers.

He was straightforward and made us feel completely comfortable, which was a breath of fresh air compared to other dealers we visited. We knew exactly what we were looking for when we walked in, and they had a 'Sold' sign on the car for us in less than 30 minutes. The process moved quickly without the typical back-and-forth games we experienced at larger franchised dealerships in the area. We are so glad we found Raul--they have definitely earned our repeat business. Plus their service department is very efficient. We received three free oil changes and tire rotations were a great added bonus!

When I arrived at the dealership, the window sticker said $35,000, and I was told the online price was "with a trade-in." I spoke with the sales manager about the price difference, and he told me "CarGurus makes the prices." That's completely false. I work at a dealer/repair shop, and I know the dealer controls its own pricing, not CarGurus. According to CarGurus' own Dealer Pricing Policy, dealers are required to list the full cash price available to any buyer, and prices cannot be conditional on a trade-in, down payment, or special financing. CarGurus also clearly states in their Terms of Use that they do not set or control dealer pricing, the dealer provides the numbers. Within just a few hours of my visit, the listing price on CarGurus changed to $30,988. That's deceptive. This kind of pricing behavior is dishonest and it's illegal. Under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 93A - the Consumer Protection Act, it's unlawful for a business to use false, deceptive, or misleading advertising to bait customers with one price and then raise it later. That's called bait-and-switch advertising, and it's a direct violation of consumer law. Buyers beware: if a dealer lies about pricing, imagine what happens once you're signing papers. Transparency and honesty should be the bare minimum when you're spending tens of thousands of dollars.
