Although this store may have started as an unclaimed baggage store, the many large items that would never fit in a suitcase being sold as well as the lack of actual suitcases for sale implies they operate as a general thrift store. Visited this national monument while visiting other places. The main visitor cent was closed due to…read morerenovation and the pathway that leads inside the cave was closed due to foundation issues. Apart from this there is a small hike up and down the mountain. We and the kids 7&3yr old made up and down the mountain. The temp visitor center is located on the right that looks like a house to your right as you enter the park. The ranger was knowledgable and answered all of our questions and my kid was able to complete the ranger program of this park.

Along this beautiful clear and unspoiled river I saw turtles, blue herons, fish, and a teenage raccoon washing his hands in the flowing water.
