It's an old theater with a lot of charm and I'm glad to see it's been renovated and saved. One bummer is that concessions are limited to soda, water and some snacky junk food. The attached restaurant/bar is no longer open so if you want to get something to eat or drink before/after the show, you have to go elsewhere (and there's not much immediately nearby.)

Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The theatre itself is rather blah-looking. It's pretty much four walls, some seats, and a stage. There is nothing interesting architecturally-speaking. As for the rest of the center, I haven't a clue. There's a long hallway I wait in every December to gain entrance to my daughter's Christmas performance. Other than that, the actual theatre is all the experience I have with this joint.

People make all kinds of jokes about community colleges, but as far as they go, this is a great…read moreone. I've taken classes at the undergrad and graduate level at several other schools, and some of the best and most challenging were are CCC. I had to take a semester off from school for surgery and needed to be closer to home so I dropped in for 3 classes at CCC. They were all great. I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything at all. Class sizes were a little bigger than at the other colleges I've been to, but I don't feel like that impacted my learning. Cumberland County College also has a really nice lay out, easy parking, and is safe. It's quite lovely, wooded and well maintained. I wish I had taken more classes at CCC because they're a bargain and it was very pleasant learning environment!

At the end of the week, there is a performance where the children demonstrate their learning. It has always included an artist picture walk that tied into the theme. We are so impressed with the learning that occurs here. The staff is always energetic and friendly. There are programs during the school year and the facility is available to rent for parties. This is a wonderful place for students to learn.
