You didn't need to call me at all. The initial phone call was more than enough. I put it on my calendar. I showed up 40 minutes early. The paperwork took 15 - 20 minutes. I then sat and watched my appointment time of 1:40 come and go. I delivered on my commitment. Maybe I should've called them three times while I waited. The whole ordeal lasted just under 2 hours. My time with the doctor was about 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly, but for a consolation it was a frustratingly long time to wait. Next time I will simply show up late. Since they don't care, why should I? Yes, I understand they have to deal with emergencies, but plan accordingly or communicate to the patients that there are delays. They sure didn't have issues calling to make sure I'm on time. Why not call when you're running behind? Initially I put them down for two stars, but my surgery went better than I could ever imagine. I had very little pain and only had to take a few pain pills to help sleep the first few nights. After that, things went pretty smoothly. I work off of a daily schedule and know the consequences of falling behind. That's why I penalize others for not handling it correctly. My experience here wasn't too horrible, but I'm sure my blood pressure suffered from it.
