We had a meeting with Vince regarding our project list and he shared his knowledgeable suggestions, then sent us a very professional detailed bid. Not long thereafter we enjoyed a full day of the family teamwork to accomplish installation of undercounter lighting, outside step lighting and miscellaneous projects. It was finished all in one day! Vince also referred a painter who we met while he was here to do some finish paint work. They are now the only electrical company we will call!! Fast forward...it had been a number of months since our previous work and we called Cunningham Electric after our attempts at replacing a GFI failed. I met with Vince to go over the job which entailed installing 30+ canned lights throughout our home. He made several suggestions as we moved through the house that changed some of the lighting products that needed to be installed. He said it would probably take 3 days and he managed to get me on the calendar in less than 3 weeks. He showed up on the arranged date right on time and completed the job (early). We love our new lights and will not hesitate to pick up the phone in the future and contact Cunningham Electric. Fast forward to today. I had an issue with my AC and was told that it was an electrical issue and contacted Cunningham Electric. Vince came out the same day and determined that it wasn't an electrical issue and let me know what the problem was and recommended an HVAC guy as mine had recently retired. We highly recommend calling Cunningham Electric before you call anyone else. I called three other firms who who either never called back or never got us a quote. Cunningham not only got us quote within a couple days, but they got the job done within a week of us calling them. My fiancé attempted to install a ceiling fan in our condo. However, once the wiring and fan was installed to the ceiling, the fan wouldn't turn on and the switch sparked a little. I appreciated my fiancé's attempt, but it was time for a professional. I reached out to one electrician, but he wasn't unavailable due to medical issues and so he referred me to Vince Cunningham. I left an e-mail Saturday night and Vince called first thing Monday July 1st. We scheduled an appointment for Friday July 5th. Come Friday Vince and his daughter arrived as scheduled. Both were extremely nice and explained the error of my fiancé's ways. (My fiancé was actually one wire off) They even installed another co-switch to compliment the use of the fan. Vince was generous enough to lower costs of the service call from $160 to $120 because it was such small and quick job. I previously engaged Cunningham Electric to install new exterior lighting fixtures. This time they were adding additional interior outlets, an exterior weatherproof outlet, in additional garage outlet, changing out all 21 interior incandescent canned lights to upgraded LED canned lighting, and installing a timer for the exterior lights. A few weeks prior they came out with samples of canned lighting options. They were helpful in assisting me with selection. They were very accommodating to me with scheduling installation. They did another fantastic job! Extremely friendly, kept mess to a minimum, cleaned up everything afterwards, and gave helpful advice on any questions I had. I felt the fees were reasonable for the work they performed I like to support local, family owned businesses whenever possible, so I am very pleased to do business with Cunningham Electric and wholeheartedly recommend them without reservation.
