The atmosphere was very welcoming. The bartender was very friendly and prompt with service. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, the breading on the chicken was slightly mushy, but didn't ruin anything. Great place to watch sporting events on TV. They are currently remodeling their kitchen so no food unless the patio is open. Great patio area for outdoor dining and partying. They have good live music and a great beer selection on tap; lots of imports such as Guinness, New Castle, Smithwicks etc. They serve big 32oz beers and during happy hour you can't beat the price! "Best beef I've had in a long time" says my man about the 'Ole Bleu Burger. He said the quality of the beef was great and flavor was perfect. He likes his burgers medium and it was cooked exactly as ordered. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, the flavor was great, and the portion was manageable. I usually have to take half my wraps home but I finished this one in no time. The onion strips here delicious and the portion was huge. However, the fried pickles were two small spears, definitely left you wanting more. Waitstaff was attentive given the busy bar. There was one loud patron at the bar that the staff was trying to wrangle. Plenty of TVs with multiple games on. Overall a great experience. read more

Their Juicy Lucy is amazing! Their onion strips are also an excellent addition to any meal. The atmosphere is super laid back and it's a fun place to go for lunch any day of the week. We were driving through and stopped in based on the reviews. I had the Pub Burger and fries, and it tasted great. My son had the Buffalo pizza and thought the crust was excellent. Parking was easy and it was only a couple miles off the Interstate - definitely worth driving past the chain places. Also, our server made great recommendations. read more

This is a great bar/restaurant. I love heir Journal Bites and the burgers are fantastic. They have a wide selection of beers, both bottles and draft, so don't be scared to ask for your out of the normal favorite. Service is good and friendly, they make good suggestions and answer questions well. I've eaten here dozens of times and never had a problem or complaint. Stopped in for lunch again and the place smelled terrible. Bad enough that I dropped the rating. Not sure what it was, but really funky odor. Still a fan of the burgers, but tried a prime rib sandwich and thought it was poor. It was edible, but really nothing resembling a good prime rib sandwich at all. Stick with the burgers. My boyfriend and I tried this place on a whim, and after researching on Yelp a tad. It was totally worth it! Came on a Friday night. There was a decent country rock bank, though a little loud for my idea of dinner entertainment, but the food and service made up for it...so much so that we returned again on Sunday. The Journal Bites are incredible (the dipping sauce makes it!). The Juicy Lucy was delicious. I also tried the French Club, which was also phenomenal. Their brisket and turkey are amazing! I will definitely recommend this place to others for drinks, dinner, or just all-around good bar snacks. If you haven't given Cunningham's Journal's eats a try, you're really missing out. The two waitresses we have had were also super friendly and attentive,without being overbearing. Checked on us a few times throughout each meal, made sure dirty dishes were removed from the table promptly, and kept our glasses full. Overall, a wonderful experience and we will certainly be returning frequently. read more
