(I still do.). Perhaps the caveat here is that I arrived with my whole family in two - seven people of all ages. What we found was that they do cater to larger groups, but not with the efficiency of a different style restaurant. On the plus side, Staff is congenial, friendly, & full of fun. The coffee was excellent! (Five stars for sure.) The baked goodies are exceptional and creative as well. On a lesser note, the egg offerings simply fell flat. They were slow in filling our orders, and simply were cooked inconsistently. Likewise, the crêpes that we ordered just didn't measure up to the baked goods we tried. If I had gone alone, or just with my wife. I think the experience would have been five stars all around. But due to the diversity of our group (and the kinda complicated order)... either the bistro wasn't ready for us or we weren't ready for the bistro. Nonetheless, I very very highly recommend it. Alas, my better nature wins out. This is a booth in the historic Lancaster Central Market, which is well over 100 years old. It can be crowded so plan ahead if you visit for that. There are many merchants, including others who sell baked goods. I stopped at this booth because it was very well lit, and when I got there the person working there was polite and friendly. Now, to the good stuff: These cupcakes are very, very good and their decoration is second to none. We got the Apple Pie Cupcake, which has icing that looks like a pie with a woven top but is NOT FONDANT. That means it's delicious, and, fortunately, not overly sweet. The cupcake itself was spiced apple and was light and airy and yum. We also got a gorgeous rose cupcake, again, no fondant, a fun turkey cupcake and a peanut butter & chocolate cupcake because Lion loves them. Lastly, I got the most gorgeous decorated sugar cookie. It seriously was almost too beautiful to eat. When I did, the cookie was light and crumbly and delicious. Would I go again? Heck, yeah!
