It is far less serious for a sex shop to ask for ID (not going to kill someone with a dildo), but I can understand upholding the law. So, I walked into this shop and politely greeted the lady at the cashier. She was just giving me a dirty look and asked for my ID. I said okay, gave my driver's license, and she told me that she couldn't accept it. I asked her why, and she told me it could be fake. I said okay, well I have my health card. She told me no again. She said that no establishment accepts health cards as ID, which is completely false given my career. That's 2 valid pieces of ID. I then told her that okay, well if she doesn't accept those, I have a picture of my passport on my phone. She tells me she will not look at it or accept it. I asked her why, and she said I look too young and I had too many pieces of ID and now it's suspicious. What? Now also keep in mind; I'm 27 years old. She's denying the evidence in the 2 ID's I presented, and also my passport on my phone. I even offered to verify the accuracy with my Bank statements and pictures. She still told me no. She said I look too young. She didn't even want to look at my other forms of proof. You're legally allowed to deny service, but the fact that she's blaming it on the fact that I look young when I have so many forms of ID that prove otherwise, is really unprofessional. And I see other reviews that mention the same problem. I contacted customer service after and I told them the entire story. They got back to me in a week, and I was offered a gift card in exchange for my troubles. I accepted it, and they told me they would get back to me the next day on how to process it. It was a fake promise. They never got back to me. I didn't get a single thing after all that trouble. Disappointing. EDIT: Customer service has gotten back to me and officially gave me reimbursement for my troubles. I came back to the same shop and the same lady was super friendly and fun this time. She's also really knowledgeable about the toys there, give me plenty of suggestions and recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm still going to leave my story here because it was an annoying experience, but I'm thankful for their understanding.

They should make it clear that store price are not the same as online. Popped by the store to see if they had what I wanted and they did not, so decided to buy something else only to find out they (the same store) sells the same thing for cheaper online. I asked if they could price match themselves as I was coming in to buy more items and they flat-out refused and well, I won't be buying anything from Cupid Boutique any more. Is online cheaper because the competition is much greater? I have no idea. I mean many of these places even include shipping with online so why bother going to their store. My advise, Search for what they selling on Google and order online. Chances are, it won't be from them.

She walked me through the store, through each section which was all so organized neatly for everything you were looking for. They had crazy costumes, all types of vibrators(and I do mean all types), also games that did make me laugh. When I was looking through their merchandise I thought to myself, so many options to pick from. I did end up picking something out, although it was tough! Of course she was distraught and felt she was never going to find a dress. Well Dream put my daughter's mind at ease as she isn't a size 18 but a size 14! Bridal stores apparently have a much smaller sizing scale and Dream told her if she doesn't find anything else (in regular stores) to come back. The dress we truly liked for my daughter was a bit out of our price range and she didn't coerce us to buy, which is so refreshing. If you are looking for really nice plus size clothing that is not frumpy, this is a great place to start. Most items are very reasonable, prom dresses being as they are with all the bling are a bit pricier, but not ridiculous. Just wanted to let everyone know about this gem that's also run by a gem!
