"If I could give it no stars, I would." Came into town on busy Coachella weekend 2 with my wife and wanted a nice brunch on a Friday morning. What we got was food that was under cooked or spoiled (bagel and lox) and service that was under par. The Oj seemed from concentrate and mixed with water, separated later. The capers, tomatoes, and lettuce were all wilted or dried out from over ripening. And on a bill of $40, we waited 20 min after the food was done, just to get change back for $60. After returning with the change after sometime- the amount turned out to be $12 short. So we asked the waiter- he questioned us and left to ask, and return with corrected change. Pretty much the one wall in the back with colored panels is the highlight of this restaurant. Not to be returning. read more

Best chilaquiles!! Comes with either red sauce or green tomatillo sauce...I got green but honestly don't think one can go wrong with either. The key was that the chips manage to stay crispy and crunchy, never going soggy and that in my opinion is what makes this a successful and popular dish. Look around and you will understand. Lattes, salmon risotto, crab cakes were also delicious . Service was friendly but we did have to flag someone down for everything we needed (ordering, straws, refills, the check, boxes)...they're busy so it's understandable and forgivable. read more

This is a cute breakfast place. It's not huge so it has that intimate feeling. The staff are all very friendly, and it's really nice and clean inside. The only issue is that the menu is nothing special, it's basic breakfast food that is trying to be a bit more hipster. If feels like the place is a hipster wanna be. The prices are also a bit high for what you get. It's basics like eggs, bagels, and pancakes with nothing overly impressive. I feel like the price just doesn't match the food. Don't blink because if you do, you'll drive right past this hidden lil spot. As many people have mentioned, the decor is very cute. With cups in all colors, sizes & styles as decor, the name is very fitting. This may be the only restaurant in California with that many employees & they all seem happy to be there. They are very friendly, helpful and work together. But the best part of the cafe is the food!! The coffee is strong and very hot. And everything we ordered was delicious!! The chilaquiles were crispy, the salsa (red & green mixed! Per our waitress' recommendation) was not spicy, but had authentic flavors. The Ranchero omelet was flavorful, the eggs were fluffy and the potatoes simple, but crunchy deliciousness. And my choice....the lobster eggs Benedict was awesome!!!
