Marketplace at the Villas.... In case you forget something at home... they have everything you could want or need... sundries, hats, sunglasses. Toys, snacks and even a small food area.... I bought a couple of kids crafts to take home to my grandkids.... Mimi always brings home presents

Convenient for grab and go. My daughter and I were checking into the La Quinta Resort at around 3:00 pm and wanted an in between (lunch and dinner) snack. We stumbled upon this marketplace located on the property near the front desk. It was a decently size and had prepackaged items (salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit cups, veggies, chips and other snack items), bottled drinks and order at the counter food and drinks. Being vegetarian, we split a veggie wrap with chips. The wrap was reasonably priced (for the resort), decently sized, tasty and filling. Seating outside (not exclusive to The Marketplace) was wide open, peaceful and relaxing. Service at the counter was friendly.

The selection of foods and menus is excellent, the ambiance and views are exceptional, and the service and staff are always pleasant and accommodating. I love walking my dog in the morning to get my morning coffe and

Cute little market but kind of sad in the food portion. They've been closed for months due to covid and finally opened back up just a couple of days ago when the hotel opened too. There's not much places that was open for food and room service was taking on average an hour to an hour and half. We happened to be at the pool and someone where they got their pizza from. Well, first off. It's a little market concessions stand feel. They did have a good variety of drinks and snacks. Overpriced alcohol of course. Menu for food was basic. Not a lot to choose from. But when there's nothing open, you make due. Went with the pizza, believe there's was only 3 option available. And a chicken panini. It didn't take long for the food. Well, the pizza and panini looked really sad to say. Pizza looked basically like the box kind from the market. The panini was basic. Not grilled or pressed. Only thing they did was toast the bread slightly. Kind of sad when your hungry and the only place with food really was a downfall. And for it to be a pretty top notch resort, food was a downfall.

Sometimes you just want a quick little bite to eat and this place is that! When you're not looking to sit down and dine there are many options for you to choose from here. Prices are decent and it's not that long of a wait at all. You can even eat your food at the several tables outside of the marketplace. Easy go-to grab and go.

I especially enjoyed the #14 The House. It's a house-made chicken salad with nuts and cranberries and comes with sprouts, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on Squaw Bread. The cranberries adds a mild sweetness which balances out the mayo and the nuts adds another layer of crunchy texture and flavor which I loved. If I were to be honest, I wasn't too crazy about their bread. On both sandwiches, it was soft which was good, yet at the same time, just a bit stale. While the sandwiches initially seemed loaded, most of the ingredients are right in the middle of the sandwich where they slice it in half, so while it's very visually appealing, there's basically a ring near the crust of the bread that didn't have much toppings. As far as the Love The Club sandwich. I think they are a bit heavy handed with the salt. The sandwich was too salty. At $33 for two sandwiches, it's also a tad bit pricey. Overall good experience and will be back to try more !

You don't really get served much, you order at the front, get your own utensils, and we needed to go to the front to get a refill. They bring you your food and drinks, and that's pretty much it. Didn't really bother us, but if you're looking for more service this place might not be for you. The Arnold Palmer was delicious, tasted homemade. And the food was so good. The vibes were chill, we were able to sit inside and it was a happy place to be in. I told my wife that I would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. Also, we noticed a lot of people just ordered drinks, so I need to go back and try out their coffee!

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

We didn't have reservations and requested to be seated inside. There was a little awkward first impression with the hostess who told us that there was only one inside table left in the back corner. She didn't come across very friendly when we asked if we could see it before deciding if we wanted to sit there or not. I understand they were busy but she was a bit short with us. We were seated in Isabel's section and she more than made up for it. What a gem! She was so friendly and very nice. She made sure to check on us often and we had a lovely time at your restaurant because of her. We are giving this review 5 stars because of Isabel. The seared ahi tuna salad and the ahi tuna nachos were both delicious. The fish was fresh and so very tender with a light dressing. The pulled pork tacos were good too. The brownie dessert was a bit dry though.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others…read more My fiancé ordered a Cobb salad, which should be one of the safest, most straightforward items on any menu. Instead, she bit into a sharp chicken bone hidden in the salad--something that absolutely should never happen. This wasn't a small, soft fragment either; it was sharp enough to cause immediate, severe pain and pierced her gums. This is not just a minor oversight--it's a major failure in basic food safety and kitchen preparation. There is no excuse for serving food in this condition, especially something as simple as a salad. We trusted this restaurant to provide a safe meal, and that trust was completely broken. What makes this even worse is that the situation could have been far more dangerous. If swallowed, this could have led to choking or internal injury. No customer should ever have to worry about that when ordering a salad. I strongly urge the restaurant to take a hard look at their food prep standards and quality control, because this is unacceptable. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
