They have parking in the back. I chose a 7am class so we were the first class that day. I was the first one there and Danielle was very welcoming and showed me quickly what to do and how to sign in. They have a board that shows how many classes certain members have taken at the studio! The class itself was great! It was challenging but not overkill. In a sea of Pilates studios in LA, the Body Process stands out to me with how they focus not on aesthetics or trendy workouts, but classical Pilates, breath work, and being in touch with your body's needs, strengths, weaknesses and potential. I (along with other friends/family) seen a physical change in my appearance, and I definitely have gotten so much stronger + significantly reduced my back and foot pain at work, since I now know how to strengthen my muscles and balance usage correctly. My favorite instructor is Grace, who has super spicy and challenging workouts but is always so encouraging, kind, and attentive to correct form, but I would highly recommend checking out different instructors and seeing who fits your fitness needs and goals best. All the girls in my classes are so refreshingly unpretentious, nice and friendly, and this truly is a safe space for bodies of all sizes and types. This is my favorite Pilates studio that I've tried out thus far, and I highly checking out their studio if you're looking for a genuine community and a physical + mentally healthy space to pursue your fitness journey!

The instructors are super friendly but will absolutely challenge you to push yourself and maintain perfect posture. Logistics are a breeze: class sign-ups are effortless, the location is simple to find, and complimentary parking is a massive plus. The studio itself is very well-maintained, complete with showers and bathrooms for our post-workout needs! I especially love how they keep us motivated with varied fitness challenges and by celebrating big milestones--like my recent 50th Megaformer class! I was also a mat Pilates instructor a gang of years ago! This studio has the best choreographers. They incorporate beautiful dynamic movements that stretch, burn, and build your muscles. The instructors are also very kind and engaging and support proper posture and form while performing the movements. There are a lot of great studios in L.A. but Studio Elevate is in my top 3.

They also have plenty of cubbies for you to store your belongings and infrared saunas available for purchase. I have taken classes with various instructors at each of the 3 studios. I found that although they all have different styles of teaching, they are all challenging yet enjoyable. They are not unreasonably challenging and will offer modifications as needed. Most instructors do most of the workout with you, especially in mat pilates, and are great with hands-on correction. They also really know how to incorporate props such as the ball, ankle weights, hand weights, etc. into the workout. By far, one of my favorite pilates studios in West LA!

I love all the instructors, they are so nice and they do such a good job with the flow of the class and are always willing to answer questions and help you out. Every instructor has been great and I really appreciate when they learn your names. The studio has free parking with validation that is very easy to find spots. There are 2 bathrooms with some amenities and lockers available. The front desk crew is also always nice. This is definitely an expensive membership $236/month for 12 classes but totally worth it. I recommend getting there early so you can stretch, check in, use the bathroom, and get ready for class.

I wanted to build a stronger core, but I wasn't able to get into abs and upper body strength training on my own. Regular Pilates was relaxing but didn't make my core any stronger. When I started at MDR Studio, the first five classes didn't feel low-impact at all. Megaformer is heavy and puts a lot of pressure on your wrists. It took some time to get used to, but as my arm strength improved, the wrist discomfort went away. My abs are much stronger now, and my lower back pain has improved too. If you want to level up from basic Pilates, I strongly recommend MDR Studio.
