Came here on Sunday and had a lovely experience. Parking is definitely tricky, but I luckily found a spot on a side street a couple of blocks away. The studio itself is very clean and well maintained. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and since I hadn't been here in a few years, I was told where to go for the class and directed to the bathroom and a changing area, which were conveniently located right outside the main studio. The outdoor area was very peaceful and tranquil and even had some couches to lounge on before or after class. The class itself was fantastic and the instruction was clear and helpful. It was a great combination of stretching and more vigorous movements, with modifications given as needed. The props were also useful as they had yoga blocks and straps to borrow. The lighting in the studio is vibrant and creates a nice ambiance along with the more spiritual decor. The music also really enhanced the class. I left feeling better than I came in and I plan on returning again soon.

It's a yoga studio located in downtown Culver City, and they don't have parking facility, so either find street parking or go to nearby public packing garages. There are two rooms for yoga classes, the bigger room has hard wood floor, and the smaller room is quipped with soft ground mat.

Beautiful yoga studio for heated yoga

I might be biased because Jill is one of my favorite yoga teachers of all time and she teaches here, but I genuinely believe the space is built perfectly for yogis. The staff is really kind and has a genuine spiritual vibe that I find is missing and a lot of the more contemporary yoga studios in Los Angeles. Trust me, this does not mean the classes are easy! Unless, of course, you want them to be. The class sizes are big enough to feel a sense of community and small enough to feel a sense of connection with your instructor. The space has a nice outdoor area as well as two beautiful indoor studios. I've never seen it anything but spotless and I know that the staff puts their blood sweat and tears into making this place wonderful and safe for everyone. This is a great place to go for any kind of yoga but if you're looking for a place where people are sensitive, trauma informed, masters at their craft, and genuinely kind and caring people, make this place your yoga home.

The most homey feeling in a yoga studio. It's so authentic and chill but also makes you work hard to get the results you want.

No parking anywhere nearby on a Tuesday night. If you live in a walking distance it might work for you.

Summary: Over a year at Sweat Yoga - and somehow, still beyond words. Joyful. Freeing. Alive…read more The Vibe: This place held me. In the middle of a full life transition - from Chicago to California - Sweat became my constant. A space to sweat, dance, move, breathe...to shed what no longer serves and quietly find a new direction. It's not one-note. Each teacher carries their own frequency, their own rhythm. The invitation is simple: Explore - try them all. Notice what opens you, what meets you, what moves you. And somewhere in that...you start meeting yourself. The Space: The yoga room is intentionally dark, with no mirrors. No performance. No distraction. It pulls you out of your head and drops you straight into your body...where the real practice begins. The Class: The Flow class format is genius. * The 1st flow begins simply: Light stretching, a warm-up flow. Repeated to connect breath, timing, & awareness. Then it deepens. * The 2nd flow drops you lower, slower, closer to the ground. The room softens, and something internal starts to open. * The 3rd flow expands. Fully guided on both sides, then picked up in pace...and you're off on your own. Music up. Lights down. Unleashed. Follow the sequence...or don't. Let breath lead. Let instinct take over. From there: Core work, long holds, deep stretches...and a full surrender into savasana with a cold eucalyptus towel waiting at the top of your mat. The Teachers: Not just teaching poses...they beautifully hold space for who you're becoming. Each teacher brings something distinct, while honoring the same soulful container. * Some classes are electric: Packed rooms, dance music, energy that lifts you. * Some are playful and light: Connection, laughter, ease. * Others are grounding: Slowing time, pulling you fully into presence. * And some feel sacred: Ritualistic, spacious, deeply calming. There are teachers who remember your name. And others who hold space so honestly that everything you're carrying feels welcome. The Bottom Line: There hasn't been a single class I've taken here where I didn't leave feeling better than when I arrived. #Truth. Sweat is a place for healing, for movement, for release, for connection, for play...a place where you can lose yourself and find yourself again. Practical Notes: Free street parking and a paid lot on site. Men's and women's locker rooms with showers. Bathroom amenities, lockers with locks, mat and towel rentals available. * Bring a sweat towel (You will sweat in the infrared sauna yoga room!) Plus: Breathwork (1st Friday of every month), chisel, half flow/half yin, pilates, and yin classes - ALL exceptional!

She's so calm and relaxing, and her class always leaves me feeling refreshed and zen for the rest of the week. She'd show us the poses and then she'd walk around to adjust our forms as needed. I like that she gave us different options and modifications depending on everyone's comfort and skill level. The studio felt clean and spacious with artsy décor all around. They have blocks, blankets and straps for you to borrow. You can also rent a mat for $2, though most people brought their own. Overall, I enjoyed the class and it was a challenging and rewarding practice. My only wish is that they would not overpack the classes. I thought 20 people fit comfortably, but then 10 more people walked in and I felt that there was not enough space for everyone to transition between poses safely. We were so close to each other that we would accidentally kick or hit one another.

BEST YOGA STUDIO IN LA!!!…read more From the second you arrive... Greeted by the sweet staff... Cute retail up front... a generous changing area with lockers and private changing rooms.. Then you enter the large studio with 2 huge skylights and lovely plants and funky graffiti wall. On warm days the studio opens up to an indoor/outdoor setup!!! I love nothing more than warm, breezy outdoor yoga!! The instructors are so wonderful and from so many different backgrounds and modalities. Kate, the owner, teaches multiple classes during the week, but don't miss her Sunday morning "Love Saves the Day" class with live music!!! Its always packed and filled with best energy. A tougher class for sure, but always a unique and engaging sequence. I could go on, but please do yourself a favor and come to class. Five stars!

Unfortunately, I really wanted to love this studio, but too many issues added up and left a…read moredisappointing overall impression. I'm a member at another YogaSix location that I truly enjoy, and I signed up temporarily at this location while I was in the area for work so I could stay consistent with my practice. My first class was Restore. The audio kept glitching, the music cut in and out and the instructor repeatedly had to adjust her phone that was plugged into the wall. The heat also didn't seem to be working properly. The system sounded like it was trying to turn on, made concerning noises, then shut off after about 30-45 seconds. It was very distracting and made it difficult to relax or fully settle into the class. Still, I didn't want to judge based on one visit, so I booked another class. The second class was Slow Flow. The instructor was very sweet, but the class felt a bit unstructured and out of sync, with students encouraged to move freely rather than follow a cohesive flow. There were again audio issues with the headset and music cutting in and out, and the heat still wasn't working; the heater had the same start-stop problem as before. I finished the class but left feeling underwhelmed. I also had another class scheduled that same week which I canceled in the app within the allowed cancellation window due to unexpected work obligations. However, the studio later stated that it showed as a late cancel/no-show on their end and I was charged a fee. I'm not sure whether there was an app or system glitch, but it was frustrating since I followed the cancellation process correctly. I had one more class booked and hoped the earlier experiences were just bad luck. Unfortunately, at 3 a.m. the morning of that class, a fire broke out in my apartment building and I had to cancel last minute. I texted the studio to explain the emergency. While they were polite and sounded understanding, I was still charged the no-show fee. Between the repeated equipment issues, inconsistent class experience, cancellation discrepancies, and emergency no-show charge, along with the location being somewhat difficult to access; this studio did not meet expectations. With so many great yoga studios in LA, I wouldn't personally recommend this location.

In a sea of Pilates studios in LA, the Body Process stands out to me with how they focus not on aesthetics or trendy workouts, but classical Pilates, breath work, and being in touch with your body's needs, strengths, weaknesses and potential. I (along with other friends/family) seen a physical change in my appearance, and I definitely have gotten so much stronger + significantly reduced my back and foot pain at work, since I now know how to strengthen my muscles and balance usage correctly. My favorite instructor is Grace, who has super spicy and challenging workouts but is always so encouraging, kind, and attentive to correct form, but I would highly recommend checking out different instructors and seeing who fits your fitness needs and goals best. All the girls in my classes are so refreshingly unpretentious, nice and friendly, and this truly is a safe space for bodies of all sizes and types.
