Look no further! The team at Curated by Grace + White, particularly Mary Hicks (our lead planner), are the best in the business when it comes to wedding planning. Our June 2023 wedding at Silverado Resort in Napa was perfection beyond my wildest dreams thanks to them. My husband and I laughed so hard it hurt, cried (happy tears), danced the night away, and truly had the best day we could have ever hoped for. All the credit has to be given to Mary and her team for making that a reality!!! I met Mary in 2021 when she was the head planner for my brother's wedding at Park Winters. I loved her style so much that I called her right after I got engaged because I wasn't having a wedding unless she was helping with it. It's impossible to enumerate everything, but here are some of the reasons I recommend Mary and Curated: (1) Positive attitude - Wedding planning and wedding day are notoriously stressful. That was NOT my experience at all thanks to Mary. She is the bubbliest, friendliest person, so her automatic nature is to always see things on the positive side. That's the kind of person you want on your team when the choices, opinions, and to-do lists start to get overwhelming. Everytime we hit a planning roadblock, she'd quickly jump in (before I was able to panic) with great resolutions and a positive perspective. Day of the wedding, she was the biggest hype woman, too, making me feel like a queen and reminding me to soak up our special day. (2) Attentive/responsive - There are a million moving pieces to wedding planning and Mary was on top of it all! She was super quick and thoughtful in responding to emails/texts. During the actual wedding, she was so attentive not only to me, but our entire family throughout the weekend. She always made sure we had our favorite drink in hand while dancing and checked-in on our parents nearly every 30 minutes to make sure everyone was at the right place/time and was having a great experience. We had a huge bridal party, and I was so impressed how Mary and all of her assistants (who I hadn't met before) showed up knowing people's names. (3) Vast industry knowledge and vendor connections - We had a "partial" planning package where we met with Mary at least once a month during the 10-month planning process. I'm so glad we went with that package instead of a "day/month of" package because it meant we could leverage Mary's vast network and knowledge of wedding venues and vendors. We found incredible vendors within our budget that we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. And these were all people who already knew and loved working with Mary, making things extra smooth day of. (4) 100% team bride and groom" - You have to contend with a lot of other thoughts/opinions from family/friends/vendors about your wedding making it hard sometimes to stay true to the vision you and your partner have. Not on Mary's watch though! She fights for you and your partner and empowers you to push for the wedding YOU want. She takes extra care to get to know you, your vision, and your budget, too, and will be frank about whether something really adds value to a wedding experience. (5) Super Organized - Mary and her team are the check-list queens from start to finish! Their planning checklist is so detailed, so you know nothing is going to be overlooked. On top of that she would send us monthly to-do lists (which turned into weekly as the date got closer) so we could prioritize and focus on the most important things. I think everyone's goal is to hire vendors that are talented and top-notch professional in their business. Planning a wedding in Northern California from Los Angeles, my now husband Troy and I knew that hiring a wedding planner was an absolute must-have. We interviewed two different wedding planning companies, and immediately felt that Curated G+W could perfectly execute our clear vision of a timeless, classic, modern romantic wedding. We had an introductory call with Hannah Palmer, and booked soon after. Hannah totally understood Troy and my style of wedding planning (i.e., easily overwhelmed and quick to get decision fatigue!). Troy and I booked Curated G+W a year plus before our wedding date, so Hannah was intentional with the items we tackled each month and she gave us ample notice when we would embark on new wedding planning boulders. We recently got married on 11.18.2023 and could not ask for a better team. We were blessed to have Carrie help execute our wedding timeline and help us plan accordingly. We interviewed 6 planners, and Mary happened to be the first (and most responsive! Everyone else sent us generic, short responses). She set the bar so high that every interview after just felt wrong. Even before we officially booked her, she made the time and effort to email us and give us so much advice. We booked Mary about a year and a half prior to the wedding day (May 2023) as part of the 'partial planning' service, and she was with us every step of the way. I have been putting off this review because I don't think I can adequately put into words my gratitude and how amazing Mary and her team were before, during, and after my wedding. We had the BEST day of our entire lives, and it was all thanks to Mary and the team at Curated by Grace + White. Mary made me feel like I was her only client all year (which we all know was not the case in the booming wedding season of fall 2021!!). I first met Mary Hicks in 2018 at my brother's wedding. She was running around making sure that every detail of their day was handled so both my brother and sister-in-law wouldn't be stressed, and could be fully present throughout their day. When Arch and I got engaged one of the top three things we immediately discussed was the venue, photography and without a doubt we had to have Mary by our side! From our first call to the wedding day she was always there when we had questions, crazy ideas to talk through or talk us out of. Mary is the sweetest, passionate and detail oriented person that helped us put together the DREAM vendor team just based on a few conversations. From beauty, florals and rentals, to the most amazing pastry artist, skilled photographers and DJ she knew all the right people that would fit with both our personalities as well as our vision for the wedding. Our goal for the day was to spend as much time with our friends and family from start to finish and Mary was always conscious of this goal throughout the planning process - our overall goal, helping make decisions on the smallest things and keeping true to our overall wedding vibe. While we were the most needy client, whenever we needed her she was a simple text away, whether it was family drama or the random instagram party idea. About three weeks before the wedding Arch decided - after seeing an instagram story - that it would be amazing to have a mechanical bull. While he didn't ask for a lot for the wedding he was sold on trying to make this happen. He of course sent the idea to Mary and was told as long as he could convince me and it's within a specific budget she would make it happen! Ultimately he was too costly to do for a small amount of time, however, she sparked the idea of having a bit of a surprise for Arch. I searched Amazon, of course, for a bouncing bull and to no surprise there were plenty of options. I had it shipped to her, so no surprise would be ruined and secretly connected with Arch's brother to come out "riding" this pull in the middle of the dance floor. To say it was a surprise doesn't do it justice, but it was one memory that will last forever. Not only did Mary indulge Arch on this crazy idea for a wedding at Park Winters - not the bull riding vibe - she made sure that it was recognized on the day of...always taking both the bride and grooms vision into consideration. The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Mary Hicks from Curated by Grace and White! When we started wedding planning we interviewed 5 wedding planners and none of them compared to Mary. In our first conversation Mary already made us feel like she would take care of us. She not only cared about understanding and executing our vision, but was also so passionate about assuring we had a dream day and didn't want us worrying about anything. You could tell she knew what she was doing and knew this industry like the back of her hand! She was always so responsive anytime we reached out with questions or needed something! We initially hired Mary for just month of coordination but a couple months into planning we upgraded to partial planning, and that was the next best decision we made for our wedding! Each month she kept us on track getting all the "to-do" items done so when it came to wedding month all we were worried about was getting ourselves ready for the big day! All the other wedding to-do items were taken care of, and Mary took over all communication with vendors so we could stay in wedding bliss leading up to the day! Her communication is out of this world! We could call, text, or email and she was always so responsive! The day of the wedding Mary had everything executed perfectly. She also has the most amazing calming energy which is what you need to surround yourself with on your wedding day! We didn't lift a finger the whole wedding weekend and day. We just showed up and enjoyed every moment because we knew Mary had everything handled. She kept the whole day moving with such ease. Mary also had 2 other Curated team members helping that day, Liz and Madi and they couldn't have been more amazing! They helped with everything all day and were so kind and fun to be around! We felt like we were surrounded by the most amazing people with the Curated team! Mary is not only the most incredible wedding planner out there, but she is just a gem of a person. Hiring Mary was one of the best decisions that we made during the wedding planning process. Prior to the wedding, she always answered my emails and texts in a timely manner. We worked with Mary from Curated by Grace + White and we tell everyone we possibly can that it was the best decision we made for our wedding. I don't even know where to start on how amazing she was to work with. We were originally scheduled to get married in May of 2020 and had to postpone MULTIPLE times and Mary saved the day in getting all of our vendors moved and working with the venue to accommodate the shifts. Beyond the scheduling, she understood the type of day and vibe we wanted and helped us find the best vendors at the right price and could help us navigate what would make the most impact to our guests and creating the day we wanted. Jen at With Grace & Love Events is amazing! I have absolutely no idea what we would have done without her. We had an exact vision for our wedding and it turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more. From Day 1 of working with her, she gave me a sense of relief that everything was going to be okay. As a perfectionist, and a stressed-out bride, knowing I was going to have someone like Jen by my side throughout the entire planning process and during the big day, was a huge relief. She set us up on software called Aisle Planner, this was a game-changer! I was able to track everything to do with the wedding on here including our guest list, addresses, wedding contacts, our budget, costs, seating charts, etc. No spreadsheets or binders were needed, everything we needed to track lived in Aisle Planner. Jen's communication style was superb! I could literally text her out of the blue to bounce an idea off of her or ask any question, and she would respond to me quickly and always had an answer and/or a great idea/suggestion. She handled communication with all of our vendors - from emailing them just to introduce herself to making sure they had the run of schedule and knew exactly where to be and when. We had a few meetings leading up to the big day, including an on-site meeting at the venue. I was blown away by Jen's organization and attention to detail. She had her binder ready to go, with every vendor contract printed out, all of our questions, and notes from our previous conversations, everything that had to do with the wedding, she had it! Nothing at all could slip through the cracks with Jen, whether it was a big, small, or a teeny-tiny detail that no one else would notice but me, she had it under control. Jen did a great job keeping our rowdy wedding party under control during our wedding rehearsal as well - we rehearsed the ceremony as many times as it took for everyone to feel confident! The wedding day itself felt flawless - if there was a hiccup, we didn't know about it, which is exactly how it should be because Jen and her team were on it. They set everything up flawlessly. I had a lot of decorations and details and they managed to set everything up perfectly, it was gorgeous, they really truly delivered. At the end of the event, Jen and her team took all of the decorations down, boxed them up, worked with the vendors picking up the rentals, all by 11 pm which was my venue's requirement. They were able to break down an event that took hours to set up, in literally 1 hour. Unbelievable. They even packed up our cars with everything, cleaned up the bridal sweet, all of the tiring things that a bride and groom don't want to have to worry about at the end of the night - they took care of it. I highly recommend With Grace & Love Events for your wedding coordination. Having a coordinator was the best decision we made and was worth every penny. Jen and her team will take care of you and go above and beyond in everything they do. We had a number of vendors and people in our wedding give Jen nothing but glowing reviews for everything she did, and just how sweet, organized, and prepared she was. Legendary Service and Flawless Execution I am so happy with our choice to go with "With Grace and Love". Although they are the more pricier choice for a wedding planner service, they are worth every cent. We had a quick engagement (engaged in November and married in late April on a new private estate), and Mary and her team executed it perfectly. There were a lot of moving parts (as always with weddings), but we were also the first wedding to take place at a new venue, so that obviously increased the risk. When I was interviewing Mary for my planner, she brought up different things that are important to a "soft opening" event that I did not even think of, so she was on it from the start. Throughout our short engagement, she was directly involved and quickly responded to any texts/calls I sent her way (especially in the week leading up!). I felt I was in such good hands, which took care a lot of my stress. Hannah with Curated by Grace + White was an absolutely wonderful wedding planner/coordinator and designer. She was there from start to finish and was extremely patient with my husband as he took his time deciding on the cake bakery, flavors and design. Sara and her team were absolutely incredible. We had to postpone three times because of COVID and would not have survived the last two years without this team. When we started the wedding planning process, my then fiancé was iffy about needing hiring a wedding planning team and to this day he tells everyone that the best wedding decision we made was hiring Sara and her team. I truly don't know how we would have managed our wedding without Mary and her team. Mary is incredibly calming, supportive, knowledgeable, warm and made us feel like we knew her for years. After every call, my wife and I literally would talk about how glad we were to have her helping us at every step of the way. She picked up and brought us our desert options for our taste test, picked up decorations on the day of the wedding and packed things up to return at the end of the night. I texted her at noon on the day of the wedding with modifications to the schedule and she made it happen no sweat. She also captured a moment on video of the last song of the night that was extremely meaningful. It painted a picture of the love between us and our family, as everyone sang along in unison, circled around us, smiles all around and tears of joy flowing. My wife and I can now relive that moment forever thanks to Mary. It's taken me a while to review because I have not been able to find the words to express what With Grace & Love Events was able to do for us. They pulled off nothing short of a miracle, and literally did it With Grace & Love. Long story short, my wedding date was over a year away when I was suddenly diagnosed with Cancer. During my appointment with the Oncologist, I requested that we hold off starting Chemotherapy for just one week so that I could plan a wedding and get married. Everyone thought I was crazy. I thought I was crazy. But I wanted to get married in the best of health and was determined to do it. Somehow I was linked up with Liz, and I'm pretty sure it was a cosmic meeting. From our first phone call I knew that she could pull this off and I had been connected with a true Professional. During our ONE WEEK together, she was able to create the wedding of my dreams from complete scratch. Not a quick "Let's get hitched" type of deal, but a full blown, nothing left out, no compromises needed, absolute dream of a day. I rattled off a list of "wishes" knowing that most things probably could never happen with no notice...but hey, I figured I would try! Liz was able to create and support my vision for the ceremony and reception, make suggestions that were useful, cost saving, and realistic...she was able to secure a String Trio to play, procure one of kind pieces for our vintage Bride and Groom lounge set up, link me up with hair and makeup, the last limo bus in town, coordinate with events, DJ, rentals, photography, videography, florals...AND..she searched to the ends of the Earth to find me a baker to make a Geode Cake-and found one (it was the most impossible thing on just a few days notice, as was the rest of it all!) She is truly one of a kind and I was so thankful to have her at my side that day. She is professional, genuine, kind, and gets the job done! I never was left waiting for a response. I felt she was my advocate for every avenue of the day. Securing the best services at the best price, controlling hiccups, thinking of many little things that I never would have on my own. Even down to a joyfully tearful moment we shared as she sent me down the aisle, I felt truly cared for on such a special day. I knew I was in good...no, the best of hands. Not only is she super sweet and personable, she gets $hit done! She helped execute my vision with ease. Due to a family emergency, Mary couldn't be there on the day of my wedding but in her place I received the services of the owner Sara plus a few other team members including Rachael. These ladies provided me with the most stress free, peaceful, beautiful day! As with any wedding, little things went wrong here and there but they handled it with such confidence and professionalism.
