I had the best experience with Curb Your Pooch! Kim was super professional and so good with my little ShihTzu Jack. I knew I didn't have to worry about Jack getting a nice long afternoon walk. Kim was super flexible with my schedule. She even brought him to my office a couple of times after his walk. She went above and beyond. She came every day and took him for a good walk, changed his water and gave him a treat. He learned how to walk better on the leash and he even lost weight! She was very flexible in our meeting, and picking up oliver for his long weekend. She provided daily updates on oliver. When we came back, he had food and water- and was exhausted! We reviewed ALL dog care options downtown, and after 2 years of (expensive) daily dog care at one of the drop off locations, we finally came to Curb Your Pooch recently and LOVE the service. They are the best, and half the price of a full dog care facility. Our dog loves our walker, Ricardo, and Kim is great to work with. Billing is seamless (via Chase Quick Pay), and whenever we need a dog walk on Sat evenings if we are going out for the night they are ready to acommodate. I began using CYP a little over a year ago and have had nothing but glowing experiences with them. Their prices are better than every other company in the city, and everyone there is extremely friendly and flexible. My dog's walker, Ricardo, seemed to genuinely love my little guy, and Kim has been great in communicating with me re: my dog's arthritis problems during the cold and winter. They are also very accommodating when it comes to needing surprise walks or in canceling walks (even day of!). I called Kim at Curb Your Pooch the day brought home my rescue dog. Kim came to meet us the next day and was not deterred by my dog's anxiety or social issues. She, along with her team of walkers, has been walking my dog since May and I couldn't be happier with their service. She is always reachable by cell or email (unlike other services I've use in the past). I can call her in the afternoon if I think I am running late at work and she will have some one come by for a late day walk without a problem. They leave helpful notes and send me email updates. I have also used them for overnight boarding and Kim sends me emails and pictures of my little lady throughout the weekend. She always looks happy and well taken care of. My dog does not do well with strangers but she loves all of the walkers from Curbyourpooch. They are also very affordable compared to other services I have looked into. I can't recommend them enough. It took you 7 weeks to return my key only AFTER I emailed you asking for it. I didn't attack your character in my review nor mention what caused me to cancel my service. I mentioned how long it took me to get the key to my HOME back. Everything in my review is true. You can attack my character on Yelp if it helps your business. Curb Your Pooch is a great service. We heard about them through Yelp and we were not disappointed. We used them for about 18 months with our young puppy. They always performed as they said they would and went out of their way for special requests like extra walks, reinforcing special commands and behaviors. Kim was always responsive and courteous. This has been a great dog walker experience, I used this service for about a year with no complains. The owner, Kim, was extremely friendly and accommodating, Her and the dog walker worked with me to get the second dog in my house hold (who was unfriendly to strangers) to become used to idea of the dog walker coming into the apartment to take my dog out and even walked this second dog once free of charge. They were always on point and even found walkers to come to my friend's apartment while my dog stayed there while I was on vacation. I temporarily relocated from Union Square to my friend's place in Midtown East while my apartment was renovated, and I was extremely nervous about finding a dog walker I could trust, especially for such a short time period. I reached out to several different dog walkers and Kim responded promptly and went out of her way to meet my dog and me on two occasions before I hired her company. Curb Your Pooch sent daily reports via email after my dog was walked, and they accommodated my dog's special feeding needs. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience that I've asked that they keep us on the roster in case I go out of town and my dog stays with a friend in another neighborhood (my permanent dog walker will not travel outside of my neighborhood). I decided to go with 'Curb Your Pooch' after pricing out and interviewing several dog walkers in the area. When I met with the owners for the initial consultation I was really impressed with how professional and knowledgeable they were- i felt really good about using them. I had just gotten my new puppy who was a 6 week old rescue and I was really nervous and concerned about caring for such a young puppy and the potential challenges that come along with rescues. Kim (my walker) has really stepped up to the plate and has been so helpful in Taylee's care. Not only has she been consistently dependable for Taylee's daily walks and feedings but has also played a huge role in training Taylee (leash walking, housebreaking, etc.). She leaves detailed daily notes about visits and has been very flexible and accommodating with unscheduled "emergency visits". I have been very happy with this company and thankful that I found them on the first try! I have heard horror stories about other's experiences trying to find a good dog walker. read more

We've been using Curb Your Pooch since we moved to the Lower East Side and have had a great couple of years with Kim and Ricardo. Kim was always super fast to respond in emergency situations - whether it was a last minute evening walk, our need to cancel a walk for the day, or even one time when we locked ourselves out and they came by with the keys. Ricardo has been nothing but patient and kind with our lovely (but sometimes anxious and barky) dog and we never had any cause to worry or complain about anything. I used Curb Your Pooch for 4 years until I moved away from NYC and I can't say enough positive things about the service and team! Kim was always super responsive over email and text and was wonderful with Penny the several times I boarded Penny with her. I received a photo update from Kim every day of boarding which was always a highlight. Lydia walked Penny twice a day, 5 days a week, and was always extremely dependable, leaving notes about how each walk went and feeding Penny a meal every afternoon. When Penny had to get back surgery and was on "crate rest" for 2 months, the Curb Your Pooch team was as caring and attentive as I could have asked for, and were consistent in following care instructions while she was recovering. So disappointed that I had to fire Curb Your Pooch after a one year relationship. Unbeknownst to me, my dog was walked and fed three hours earlier than our usual appointment which had been set all year. If not for my neighbor, I would not know this was happening. When I confronted Kim, the owner, her response was that she is very busy and has many clients. Why didnt I get a call or text that they werent able to come at the usual time, and would earlier be acceptable for me/the dog? I was basically told to go find another dogwalker. Curbed Your Pooch is a phenomenal service! Kim is super reliable and loves my baby girl so much. I know Muffy (my 12 lb shih tzu) loves Kim too. My little dog has to wear booties when she goes out for walks because she is very fluffy and white and gets filthy on the Manhattan streets without them and Kim has always put them on her. I started using Curb Your Pooch when my puppy Bowie was only 12 weeks old and I have been so pleased with the service. We started out doing the Puppy Playtime and transitioned into walks once his shots were up to date. They are reliable, flexible and trustworthy and Bowie has gotten more well behaved as he's continued to walk with them. I've also used Curb Your Pooch for boarding and Kim sent me many updates throughout Bowies stay, ensuring that he was okay!
