(Initially I was told they did, then later on they said they did not.) They referred me somewhere else (which turned out to be less quality care.) I was told when we got our insurance back we could return. Finally when I got my kids back on their previous insurance, they wouldn't take me back. At first, they said "they just aren't taking previous patients back." I asked if they could make an exception due to my child's serious dental issues (and the extensive work Dr M had done, which was now being ruined by another dentist.) I was placed on hold, when another staff member picked up and said the real reason was actually because I had allegedly hung up on them once, several years ago. This is what I'm talking about when I say the staff gives bad information. Which is it- do you no longer take previous patients, or are you holding a grudge because you think I hung up on you years ago? Either way- putting your pride before the needs of a small child is awful behavior. Dr Moffatt cares about his patients but the staff does not.

When I called to inquire about the charge, I was informed that the additional costs were due to X-rays and the fact that my child is now considered an adult patient. This information was not communicated to us at any point during the visit or in advance, and we were not made aware of any potential additional charges. Further, when I requested to speak with Dr. Moffett directly to clarify the situation, I received a call from Erica, your office manager, who informed me that you would not be speaking with me and that the office would issue a refund for the charges in question. While I appreciate the refund offer, I am left feeling disappointed by the lack of transparency and communication. This experience is in contrast to the level of service we've received over the past decade, and I would have hoped for a more thoughtful resolution. Additionally, Erica mentioned that we will need to find another dentist for our children, which was disheartening to hear given our history with your practice.

My crown post broke and I was left without a front tooth. I went to Dr. Cook for options and after extensive discussion decided to put a new post in and a temporary crown so my dentist at home could then replace the temporary with a new crown. But when Dr Cook got into the process he discovered an old-school resin that had been used to fill the root canal and determined that the chances of success for a new crown were significantly reduced. Rather than continuing with the new post, he simply glued the old crown back in place and suggested that I discuss my options with my dentist at home. Wow... He had the opportunity to charge me for a new post that probably would have been unsuccessful but instead was honest and told me that I would probably need an implant. Patient before profits. For me this is something significant and something I was extremely impressed by. On top of all of that, the office was friendly, extremely organized, and seamless throughout the entire process. I highly highly recommend Dr. Cook if you happen to be fortunate enough to live in an area where he can provide dental services for you.

They decided to charge her $150 to reschedule, NOT CANCEL. $150 is overkill and a rip off! Then you tell me I can come for my appointment until her amount is paid! Absolute foolishness.
