Visited this salon this past weekend after seeing they offer blowouts (which the lady who did my blowout was great) - just to experience an FIVE/SIX HOUR disaster. I would never usually go out of my way to write a bad review but I am still suffering til this day over the mockery they made of my hair. Hair stylists need to be open and honest with their clients, if they don't believe they can achieve something, YOU DO NOT EXPERIMENT ON YOUR CLIENTS LIKE THEY ARE LAB RATS. ESPECIALLY WITH BLEACH. I came in with my INSPO pic of what I wanted my hair to look like - I was already pretty dark and I didn't need to be bleached. Lived in color is different than a balayage. Maybe she needs more schooling. While I was in the chair I felt my back getting SUPER WET. I asked her if my shirt was bleached.... She said no. I got home and the back of my vintage chiefs top was dyed. The hair stylist offered me to come back the next day..... after thinking about it. Why the hell would I come back the next day after my hair was botched. I'm already now anxious and pissed off. So yeah absolutely not. I called the next day (Monday) to see if the stylist could split the difference after I went to my ORIGINAL hair stylist and she fixed my hair THANKFULLY. The stylist at this salon basically told me that I was in the wrong. It wasn't her fault - took no accountability. Worst experience of my life. I'll show pics of my bleach hair. read more

Told Gina I wanted to cut off 12 inches for donation to Lock of Love at 1pm yesterday. I was having terrible sinus trouble and figured maybe it was time for a pressure relief. The hairdressers don't process donations hence why I had my hair to measure. (I've never had a shop not do this for me as even Great Clips does it.) I know it's sent because Locks of Love sends a card back to me every time. But either way, how did 12 inches become 18 inches BRAIDED?! While in the salon I heard everything from Melanie's daughter Mallori (not present but also a hair dresser) is getting married and how her hair will be done. (Btw, Mallori, your mom showed Brooke and Gina your dress but told them they have to unsee it! But don't worry, I didn't see it!) To what tattoo Brooke is getting next and even who's nipples are pierced. I also heard Gina complain about how thick her nails are done while doing my hair and tbh I would not go there for any nail set after I got a look at them and it's because they are CHUNKY. Girl I hope you see this because they are not suppose to be that way. Find someone else to do them, quick! Anyways, while cutting my hair we did not discuss anything about my hair, no tips, not how I wanted it cut, nothing. We did however go over at the beginning, that I should be donating to Wigs for Kids and not Locks of Love. And after that convo I might just do that but there was no story behind the why I donate or anything. My hair is sacred in my native tribe and the fact I'm donating is a huge deal. -None of the hair dressers know this. read more

I have always LOVED going in, I leave with my hair feeling beautiful and refreshed and have a great time and experience from the moment I step foot in the salon until I leave. The stylists are kind and funny and very welcoming to everyone who walks through their doors. Katy Yohe has been doing my hair for years. Now that all my kids are grown she does their hair and now my grandchildren are going to Katy. All the girls that work their Mellony, Mallory, Gina. They are all very friendly and kind. Now they have Johnny ( House Of Pain ) doing tattoos. Yes he is awsome at New tattoos or cover ups I have been and had work done and so has my son and we are so happy with his work. I will never go anywhere else. My grandson has autism and is not the best when it comes to hair cuts. Katy you were awsome with him thank you. read more

I have been to this salon three times, 2/3 were bad experiences one with Gina and the other with Melanie. Both times, I received a choppy dissatisfying haircut that wasn't at all what I asked for. The last time, I went in for a trim with Melanie and in turn got bullied for 20 minutes about the state of my hair. In addition to that, she insisted on cutting off inches of my hair and instead of a trim causing me to leave with a bob. It seems to me that she let her own personal opinion override her ability to give the customer what they asked. Whether or not she believed this was the right decision her customer service and social awareness was lacking. I was genuinely shocked by the rudeness I was treated with, and the haircut was less than up to par, even after I pointed out spots for her to fix. 25$ to be utterly let down. I highly advise to find another salon or carefully select your stylist. read more
