Today I ordered a butter soup. I thought it was going to be a large butter chicken but the actual chicken was scarcely scattered on the bottom of the container to the point I would consider it a soup although the taste was authentic and spot on. Their naan bread is freshly made and delightful. The service was not great but not terrible. If I was to go back it would be for the naan. The soup didn't justify the $16 I paid for it. read more

Only go to the place if you like over priced, watered down, tasteless Indian. Indian has always been my favourite cuisine and this is literally the only time I've been disappointed in my meal. Curry Express staff are also lazy and will rip you off to save themselves ten minutes. I went in about 4pm one day to grab a quick meal before work - I was the only one IN the restaurant. I paid for a $6 naan and when I got home, discovered a $1.50 papadum. It was no mistake as I was the only one there, it was very intentional. A way to save themselves time actually making a naan.They must think their customers are stupid. Avoid this place at all costs. It should be shut down. read more

Price: $10-20 per person, Quality: depends on what time you get it really, don't come after 6pm. Or just ask them to make it fresh just let you know you have to wait. Service not that well unless you have a convo with them Lot of different curry to choose from read more

Curry Express has quickly become one of the most popular eating and takeaway outlets in Gold Coast since its opened doors In March 2005. The food is a mix of traditional Indian cooking with a western influence. You can choose from 16 different delicious curries in the bain-marie catering for all taste buds. All the curries are gluten and MSG free and we also have dishes available which are dairy and nut free. If your are unsure what tickles your fancy you can ask one of our friendly staff to give you a free sample. While you wait for your order to be prepared you can watch the chef make naans right in front of your eyes. The naans are fresh and soft and are unlike any one you have ever tried before. You cant go past the cheese or garlic naans. You can ring up ahead and place an order or just drop in. We also have a home delivery service available from Wednesday to Sunday.
