This isn't the sort of place where lagered up lads tolerate ropy food in return for one more pint, but a first rate restaurant where the food takes centre stage. You can't just choose your favourite curry, rice and naan and you're away, as all the main courses come with the sundries appropriate to that dish. The emphasis is very much on authentic Indian cuisine, not its spiced up English offspring. It may have garnered something of a reputation for being expensive, but Rajpoot really is a cut above, especially in the presentation stakes.
