I decided to try something new and ordered two sopes - one chicken and one beef. Once you have ordered and paid you are given a beeper and you head out to ale or a seat. The entire food truck area is enclosed and there are several covered areas with picnic tables and other seating. The sopes were delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and very tender. The sopes were topped with beans, lettuce, cheese, and fresh avocado. Green sauce was served on the side and added a fresh tang with a little kick at the end. All in all, I would like to go back to try more items from this truck. I recommend!

When you're heading down 11th toward Manteca, keep your head on a swivel, as the truck is easy to miss at 45-50mph.

They also have done daily specials so look for signs on that or ask when you call an order in. They also do homemade tortillas!! I had the catfish with smothered green beans and macaroni and cheese, plus an extra side of green beans. My wife ordered two pieces of fried chicken -- everything came out hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. If I had one tiny note, it's that the chicken was just a touch salty for my taste -- but I'll admit, I'm a little sensitive to salt. That said, it was still absolutely delicious and full of that home-cooked goodness that's hard to find these days. The ladies running the truck were friendly and welcoming (we forgot your names, but thank you again!). You can tell they cook with pride and love. We'll definitely be back -- and we'll be telling everyone we know to stop by. This is solid, soulful food done right!
