I stopped by this food truck at the strong recommendation of one of my students. (They love it). For my trip, we ordered the pastor tacos and shrimp burrito. There were aspects I liked of each, but overall the meat was a bit tough for my liking, so the dishes didn't land near the top of my list. For the most part, I did enjoy the flavor aspect. As someone that enjoys heat, the green salsa definitely packed an unexpected punch. The tortillas are clearly handmade, which was a plus for sure. When you're heading down 11th toward Manteca, keep your head on a swivel, as the truck is easy to miss at 45-50mph. read more

When we approached the truck to order, I said to the girl, hi how are you... I would expect she'd at minimum say hello back, but she just gave me a blank stare, very serious. so not a welcoming experience. Another great food truck burrito in Tracy. The Regular Birria Burrito was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the slightly grilled tortilla. They gave me extra of the spicy salsa on the side, and while it wasn't too spicy for my taste (I really do enjoy hot stuff though), it was really good. This spot was a total surprise for me--a food truck parked in an auto sales lot. I wasn't sure what to expect at first. As it turns out, the service was incredible. The people were beyond friendly, and the speed was almost unbelievable. I ordered two California carne asada burritos, and they had them ready in about 5 minutes, along with fresh, homemade chips. Now, I usually don't take food to go for a long drive, but since I don't live near Tracy, I brought these burritos home--a 45-minute trip. I fully expected the quality to take a hit after the drive. But I was wrong. Completely wrong. These burritos were outstanding even after the journey! The carne asada was perfection. Every bite felt magical. The fries, salsa, and overall combination were exactly what I hoped for--everything just hit right. At around $12 per burrito, the value here is unreal. You're getting so much for a very reasonable price. Overall, I'd rate this burrito an 8.6/10. Seriously, run--don't walk--to try it! Was out in Tracy area and needed a quick lunch. Pros: Food is piping hot! I think the corn tortillas are house made. Those were legit and hot. Cons: The cabeza meat was refried to the point where it was crunchy. I dont mind cabeza being seared but this was overkill. Also ordered a super burrito and it was just ok. It didnt really have any flavor. The asada wasnt marinated very well. The burrito had all the components but just didnt taste great. This review is in regards to a very disappointing visit. Cutting foil into food is bad for one's long term health if small pieces are eaten. Look into yourself, it's very bad. I specifically asked NOT to cut my food if it's wrapped in foil. No problem, they tell me. Sure enough, they cut my sandwich while it's wrapped in foil. The sandwich is ruined at that point. I express my disappointment and they say, oh sorry, then they take the sandwich out of the foil and rewrap it in paper!! That made me even more upset, I was pressed on time, so I left. No sandwich, plus my $20 gone. I don't know what to tell ya except I hope this helps the consumer in some way, and also helps them be better at customer service. read more

In order to recommend this place in the least amount of words possible, here it goes. I live in San Jose, the city full of taco stands depending on what day/time of the year it is. I drive an hour every so often just to eat these tacos because there's nothing in SJ that comes close. Their aguas frescos are really good too must try. Note: their new location isn't updated on Yelp or Apple Maps. We went all the way over to 11th Street, confused to see a different taco truck... I went on their Instagram shortly afterward to find out that they're actually located on Holly Drive. We drove back over to Holly Drive afterward and voilaaa - there we found the huge red truck we were looking for. The parking lot was full but there's a good amount of street parking. The food seemed really promising since they had a crowd forming outside of the truck. They take Venmo and Zelle here which is a huge plus! We ordered quite a few things to try: + Carne Asada / Al Pastor Taco (4/5): These two tacos were great! The meats were well marinated and flavorful. I think it would've been better if the asada were cut larger vs. cubed into tiny pieces. The al pastor taco was good, I liked how they kept the pineapple in the taco. + Camaron Taco (2/5): There were maybe 2-3 pieces of shrimp in this, but they were all dry and overcooked. The sauce that was on top of this was delicious though. + Quesabirria (3/5): I really enjoyed the first few bites of this, the consume was also rich and flavorful. I think they went a little too heavy handed on the cheese though and it could've used more birria, because by the time we were biting into the center of the quesabirria it was just mouthfuls of cheese. The onions on the side definitely helped with balancing this out. + Al Pastor Super Burrito (2/5): We read reviews about how this is just a whole bunch of rice, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and unfortunately it was true - nearly 80% of the burrito was just rice. It was so much rice that I couldn't even taste the meat unfortunately - so I'd definitely pass in the future! A solid place for tacos in Tracy! Our order took about 25 minutes to make. There's only a few bar chairs out if you're planning on eating there, but it seems more fit for takeout orders in general. read more

This truck is amazing. I think theyre new and they definitely exceeded my expectations. Located in front of a used car dealership. The ladies on the truck were super nice. They were polite and made sure everything was correct before charging us. I ordered the quessa birria taco, a shrimp taco, and al pastor street taco. First off, their tortilla are made fresh as you order. There are very few places that do this so you definately can taste the difference. The birria shell was a mix between a tamale shell and taco shell. It was pretty good. Decent size for the birria taco. Meat was extremely tender. The pastor taco was good but what set it apart from other pastor tacos is the grilled pineapple on it. The sweetness of the pineapple really balanced out the richness of the pastor. Finally the shrimp taco. Pretty decent sized shrimps for a street taco. It comes with a sauce on top. Probably one of my favorite taco from this trip. All orders comes with grilled onions, jalapeños, radish, lime, and pickled jalapeños. 5/5 for the food but definitely try the shrimp taco and birria taco. Also got a horchata to drink. Very very good. We will be coming back here very soon. Price for everything was alot cheaper than i had expected so that would make them now one of my favorite mexican spots in tracy. read more

Stopped by after seeing a line out front to try the food. We got a super burrito with carne asada, birria tacos, and a torta. The service was great. I was having an issue using Venmo to pay but they were patient with me while we figured it out. She even took my phone for me to put the name in properly. We also only waited for about 10 minutes for the food. The food itself is among the best in the area. The burrito is HUGE and stuffed with delicious ingredients. Not too sure but the tortillas seem to be housemade. The birria tacos were perfect. The tacos were stuffed with meat which is awesome. The torta is probably the biggest I've seen. You definitely get a good amount of food for what you're paying and that's great to see. Highly recommend stopping by and getting some tacos. Park outside the gate, it's easier. read more
