A sign said there was a sale on everything in one of these booths except for jewelry and books. I grabbed two small paintings. When I went to check out and told the clerk about the sale, I was just told "wrong." The clerk then explained that the sale was void for these items because of stickers on the back that said "firm." The large and prominently featured sale sign for the booth only listed jewelry and books as excluded from the sale, not items marked firm. It felt misleading. The sign should have said, "except for jewelry, books, and items marked firm." I asked the clerk about the sign. She said that the sign didn't matter, only that the sticker on the back said firm. Because of this, I didn't purchase the paintings I otherwise would have loved to nab. I hope they start honoring poorly worded sales signs and/or have vendors make their signs clearer and clarify exclusions better. Otherwise, this is a great boutique.

It felt like the alarm had gone for over 5 minutes; and if you have ever been at a Walmart when the alarm goes off you know it is not a pleasant sound. It's deafening. There was no explanation or apologies over the speaker and a staff member indicated this was not the first time it has happened. If the manager is reading this or someone who has the authority to find out the issue and fix it I would strongly recommend them to do it! Seriously it is hurtful to the ears. :(.
