That said, I still learned something valuable from each instructor, and I especially want to highlight Leo who was very helpful. That helped me feel prepared and confident for my test. -- it wasn't perfect, but i have not regrets - it helped me pass and I gained solid skills I'll carry forward.

I purchased the 10 course lesson package and it was the best investment because I passed my road test. Most of my lessons were with Irving Sr. & Irving Jr. Both are great instructors but if you want a more relaxed comfortable experience then I suggest Irving Jr. Best part of the package is that they drive you to the road test site and supply the car, my test was in Yonkers. Nonetheless they made the experience so easy and I learned so fast once I got out my comfort zone. 10 courses later and I'm finally on the road.

The staff will openly disrespect you, they will deny you the services you paid for, and try to scam you out of more money. Interacting with this driving school was a terrible experience. I paid $200 for a driving lesson package that was supposed to include the driving classes, a driving test appointment, the 5-hour class, and a car for the test. I was then told that they would not schedule my driving test until at least a month out because it was a "DMV regulation." I checked the DMV website and there was no such regulation posted there. I alerted the staff member and he got mad and told me that if I wanted an earlier appointment I would need to pay an additional $85. I asked if I could just schedule my own appointment and was told that I could, but they would not let me use the car for the test (that I had paid for in the package). At this point, I let them know that I would like to downgrade to just classes if possible and was told I could not. So I asked for a refund and the employee came out of his booth thing and grabbed all the paperwork that I was supposed to sign and went back to his seat. He said that I could not get a refund until the next day because the owner was not present. I asked for a receipt so I can have proof of purchase and was denied a receipt. I asked again and he still refused to give it to me. I didn't leave the business and called my bank to inquire about my options since coming back the next day without a receipt seemed like a bad idea. I was told by my bank to try and resolve the issue with the vendor and if that doesn't work to wait until it gets posted onto my account (it was still pending on my credit card). Once again, I get up and ask the employee to give me a receipt for my $200 purchase and he refused. I explained to him that denying me a receipt when I explicitly asked for one was most likely illegal. At this point, he got on the phone with the owner and told me I could wait for the owner. At this point, I am highly uncomfortable because he is still denying me the receipt, being disrespectful, and just glaring at me behind the glass. When the owner arrives, I explain to him why I would like a refund. He kept yelling at me about a "verbal agreement" saying I had to pay him 20% to get a refund. I explain to him that his employee did not let me sign any paperwork stating that and has not even given me a receipt of purchase. I was not paying 20% when I was being denied services and proof of purchase. He was not happy about this and kept promising me early appointments as long as I signed. I refused because I realized the place was a scam and I would probably not receive anything he was promising. When the owner realized I would not be using his service he said he would not give me a refund because I called my bank. He claimed that I was a thief and was going to steal his money. He thought that if he refunded me and I also called my bank they would give me twice the amount. This was the most absurd thing I have ever heard in life. He gave me a small receipt and scribbled on the back that "She was refunded, she said that she is going to cancel with the bank" (picture attached). He then kept trying to urge me to sign that and I told him I wouldn't but he was free to sign it. He actually signed it for some reason but still would not give me a refund. I took the receipt and left because it was clear I would not be getting a refund and would have to wait 24 to 72 hours for the payment to post and then call my bank. This was an awful experience. I do not recommend this place.

I've had SOME experience with cars, but I learned how to handle a car with Yisrael as at Golden Key. After only 4 lessons with him, I became confident in my driving and learned a lot.
