Strongside is a community of incredibly kind people who gather to be a better version of themselves, on a daily basis. The gym is incredibly clean. The people who go daily are so nice, and are always rooting for each other. Lifting each other. I work out among men and women of every shape and size. All of them trying to just be a BETTER version of themselves. A stronger version. A healthier version. As a middle aged woman, that feels wonderful. And the coaches are phenomenal. They push you to go that extra mile. To lift just a little more. To get in JUST ONE MORE REP! PUSH THROUGH!! My coach is Joe and he is absolutely AMAZING! I called in October 2022 to cancel my membership after a knee surgery and whoever took the call did not complete the process and there was no record of that cancellation. Today, 02/18/2025, I spoke with the so-called General Manager, Kevin and he told me that it was my word against Planet Fitness. I was charged over $270 for a membership that I did not use in over 2 years plus a request over the phone they did not complete. This guy took no responsibility to this issue and stated that he doesn't care because it was my word against them plus, he said they get several of this complaint - No wonder why?...whoever hired him for that position is making a huge mistake. I will continue spreading the word about this location and this management team, especially the General Manager Kevin.

It is in the old Golds Gym so even though it is newer to the One Life collection. The building itself has some age on it. Some of the equipment already has cracked pads which is a huge pet peeve of mine. When you have annual membership fees this should never happen. There are several machines here that they don't have at other locations, however it was lacking in abdominal machines. The overall pool area is nice but the hot tub had the weakest jets I have ever experienced. This is the only One Life I've been to that has a steam room. That was nice! The showers were GROSS and showed plenty of mold. There were also three ends of exposed screws by the soap holder that will scratch you. Like I said this experience was a roller coaster! The hydro massage was nice and that area was clean. I will come back.

They did, so as of last week, I'm back in the gym, I love the fitness classes, like Zumba on Friday nights and I tried the water class on SAT. Looking forward to more classes. I know anyone who struggles with their weight can have a really hard time walking into the gym and seeing so many different bodies, but most of them slimmer than your own. I was prepared to have that feeling, BUT it never came. I have been going 3 times a week for about a month now, and I am learning so much. BUT best of all I am ALWAYS greeted so kindly and anytime I have a question like, what supplies do I need for a particular class, what is RED THERAPY, what is towel service, and all kinds of others questions I met with a smile and an answer. I do have to also say the Locker rooms are SPOTLESS. I swim when I go so I usually have to take a shower to get the chlorine off. I have NEVER been disappointed with the cleanliness of the locker rooms. If I could give the ONELIFE in Woodstock a 6 out of 5 I would.

GTX format with a new name! Basically, Someone yelling at you on a pilates machine with music. Still better than competition, but you are really paying for it and soon it will just like them. SPIN is the only real core cardio that all ages can do and they cancel it. Poor quality "healthy food" cheese wiz on stale chips. 5 day old broiled chicken on premade salad from days before. Food $$$ & no outside food or drink allowed. Shakes taste a 5 on a scale of 1-10. After taste that keeps you from finishing the whole shake. Each shake $11- $15 Staff is nice, but limited in helping you. Price is set. Memberships very complicated. There really is no "you can go to any gym if you work aboard." each gym has specific benefits. If it doesn't match up boom not allowed. For example: NY has 14 gyms that do not allow you to go. Period! Membership offers a "all gyms" with hike up in $$$. So you pay extra for nothing. Look on line and it shows you how few gyms are interchangeable. Hot tubs need updating. Water is low so it hits you below chest with only 3 jets in the entire tub aimed at your back. Just like a motel would have.
