First time in my life that I tried a service to install Christmas lights. Our favorite time of the year...I had contacted six companies and 4 of 6 quoted prices without coming out. Rob the owner came out looked around and sat with me as he created the perfect holiday light theme for two homes. I liked him the second we met him. My Wife and I could not be more pleased and happy with Custom Christmas lighting!!! I called Rob for a free estimate and he went out of his way to get to my place on a late Friday afternoon. He had all the lights with him for examples and was easily able to get a full estimate right then and there. I then had a follow up with the office to make sure we had all the specs right and set an installation date. My only requirement was to have them up before my Wife's birthday since this was a gift. The day before her birthday his crew was here and worked late in the cold and wind to get the lights done. They got everything done except the pillars on our house, but said they would be back in the next day or two. I called Rob the next day and he knew where the crew left off, and assured me someone would be back on my Wife's birthday to finish up. For many years I've grabbed the ladder and hung my own Christmas lights. This year, I decided to use Custom Christmas Lighting and I'll never hang my own lights again! Rob was a pleasure to meet and work with. He surveyed the home, and put his recommendations into a line by line bid on the spot. We discussed lightbulb colors and options and made it clear it was our choice to do selection some, all or none of his recommendations. We choose parts of the recommendation, having lights attached to the front of our house and our shed. The crew showed up a few days later, installing the lights with timers efficiently, leaving without making a mess. They performed the installation without creating worry; the crew used a bucket truck to attached the lights to the high points of the home - no climbing on the roof, no risk of someone slipping and falling off either. As I get older, the thought of hanging Christmas Lights on my house becomes more and more of a dreaded task, just the whole thought of ladders, let alone the timing it takes to get the lights out, setup the ladders, run the cords, you all get it. I first had Rob out to look at my home a few years ago when I had torn my ACL. I couldn't make it happen then, but a couple years later we touched base again, and I asked the company to put the lights up. Not only were they up and out of the way quickly, but they were straight as an arrow, every bulb was lit up all season, and I had a ton of compliments on the lighting. Custom Christmas Lighting is a great service, they come and put up the lights, quick, efficient and DONE for you so you don't have to! It's essential for us as a home based business to have our home lit up during the dark times of year, and you don't want to wait until the coldest time of year to do your lighting...Call early, get it done in September, and then you'll be set to go for the season! We have a tree that is (we estimate) over 60ft tall. I wanted this tree lit all the way to the top because it's a perfect shape for a "Christmas Tree" . We thought it would be impossible and/or way too unaffordable. To my surprise, they said it IS possible and when I received the quote, also to my surprise, WAS affordable. It was pretty much zero effort when they arrived with 2 trucks and 4 guys who clearly knew exactly what they were doing, showed no signs of any difficulty and had it all up in a few hours. In the past Id get my own lights up about a week before the holiday and then there they would sit till May when I'd finally get around to taking them down. The installation crew was very professional and thorough checking all of them to make sure working. The pricing is also extremely reasonable for a seasonal service. We are really excited for the garland and the wreath to be installed - but realize that we have a little bit of time to wait for that to happen. It was an overall positive experience. We requested service in mid October. The lights were put in by mid November. The crew was very nice during the installation and the sales staff was friendly as well. We did a 2 year contract to save on cost. So for Christmas 2021 you owe 30% by April. You just call them when you want the lights taken down. They take care of the lights and extension cords, etc. If you are a new customer I would call them early in the season to request an estimate and get on their schedule. read more

Rob and his team did a GREAT job of putting up our house and tree lights this year. On Christmas Eve, we noticed our trees in the back were not lighting. We determined that a critter had chewed their way through the extension cord. I texted Rob at 3:00 on Christmas Eve asking that someone come out AFTER Christmas, as I would not have expected anyone to be available Christmas Eve night or Christmas day.
