First: They are great communicators. I got my quote in a very timely fashion. Before they show up, they let you know they are coming. And when they say they are coming, they actually do. I had a complex painting color scheme for the house. They executed it to my specifications and they were super flexible when I changed my mind on a few things. They work fast and efficiently, but also did a good quality job. To me, this means they are professionals. Every painter was friendly and customer service oriented. I had some follow up items from the job...they came back and addressed every concern without pushback. And, the price was pretty reasonable. I'll be using them again next time around.

I tried going with a "Family" Business (found on Facebook) but this one gives them a bad name…read more Hired them to paint my kitchen cabinets and table top. Turned into a nightmare. Job was to take 3 days, turned into 12 days. Mike (owner) is very unprofessional and called me cursing me out on phone accusing me of assaulting his daughter and saying I had his men walking on eggshells when they were here all because I asked them to not walk on carpet with shoes. He also threatened to burn my table and demanded payment or would put lein on my home (all of this is on camera). I had to have police at my house when they returned my table top because I didn't know what he would do. I now have complete all the touch-ups myself, and had to fix a screw on a drawer and a door that his 'crew' didn't do right, and I have to hire someone else to re-do table top because he ruined it by the paint not being dry when they wrapped it and it has material imprints and other marks on it. Turns out their business name with BBB is listed as M&J Coatings and Painting LLC and are not Accredited. I learned my lesson by not checking BBB before hiring them. You're told that you have 2 year warranty, but they didn't fix the errors because he falsely accused me of assault and made threats to burn my property. So, now I no longer wanted them in my house and will have to fix it myself. Contract says He is licensed, bonded, and insured and would supply that information upon request, yet, when I requested it I never received it. My table top is still an unresolved issue because I had to get a quote to have it fixed and have requested refund from Mike in that amount. Mike not only refused to refund the amount but told us to not contact him anymore. Be careful who you do business with, they are not always what they portray (found him on Facebook) and there are other companies with the same exact wording in their advertisement. I have never had such unprofessionalism from a contractor and would never refer them to anyone for anything!

Unfortunately I can't review Quality Counts Painting's quality of work. I initially called for an…read moreestimate and we scheduled a specific time and date. At the exact time the owner should have arrived to provide an estimate, I got a call saying that he had just notified the scheduler that he was unable to come. Things come up, so it wasn't that big of a deal, though I'd arranged my schedule around the cancelled estimate. The following week Dennis came by and spent time looking through our home and taking notes. He then took my email address and said I'd be getting an estimate the following day. I waited a few days and then called to make sure they had the correct email address since I hadn't received anything. I still never received a return call, nor an estimate. Making time for a service provider to come give an estimate is not nothing. It takes effort to schedule the visit, tidy up and walk someone through the space. I have two little children too, so managing this around them is also challenging. Because of this, we're weeks behind on starting our project because we had to locate and find someone else to provide a bid. I find it really frustrating that Quality Counts ghosted me before providing an estimate. I would have respected it if he'd said our job was too big or not of interest.
