I've used Custom Defense twice. The first time i had a lower reciever sent to them that i purchased online. Lonnie was real nice and helpful during my ordering and pick up experience. I even bought a lower parts kit at a lower price than i could find anywhere else. A couple of months later I took the weapon I built back to Custom Defense to get cerakoted. I was amazed at how well it turned out. I couldn't have asked for a better job to be done on it. I was also impressed that he did the inside of the weapon as well. I had two problems and they Custom Defense Firearms fixed it. First, I bought a KDG MREX MK II for my FN SCAR 17S in FDE. The MREX was in black and I wanted it in FDE. No problem fir CD Firearms. I got the MREX cerakoted in the exactly in the FDE that I specified. Second I needed the barrel section of the SCAR removed from the upper receiver. I had gone to another location and they were unsuccessful. No problem for CD Firearms get the job done. Both my problems were tackle in a timely manner, professionally, and at a great price. I've been to this store 3 times and always got great service on my firearms for a reasonable price. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They will handle any FFL transfer if you bought a gun online and the military rate is $15 for that (at least when I did it). They don't have a large firearms selection in-store as they are primarily a gunsmith service. They do excellent Cerakote work and sell a wide range of accessories for AR platforms. If you are a 3-gun shooter this place definitely has a lot to interest you. read more

I like the style of firearms that this place has. I like customizing guns, and building creative themed ARs; so I've been in this shop many, many times. This crazy gun rush in 2020 has the shelves a bit emptier than normal, but they still get cool stuff in on the regular.
