There are print out of memes all over the store. The staff there seemed pretty friendly and ready to help. If you are looking for tasers and taser holsters, they do not have them. How do I know this? HONEST 2023 REVIEW: I don't really ever write reviews. But this is a local place that's been around at least since I got stationed here in 2009. So I think they deserve a few words. Retired Army black male here (If that makes any difference).This place has negative reviews and I don't understand why. I visit the store 2-3 times per year. I've never had a problem. Every single time I enter they greet me. The older man is always willing to answer any questions. Super friendly real salt of the earth guy. The woman is also really great. She stayed on the phone with me twice this year over 30 minutes tracking -down a must have-.The younger guy I haven't really spoken with (only because I come in looking the older guy he's funny) but he seems ready to jump in and help. I recently did a FFL transfer. Around 4.3k and took almost 9 months to receive from the factory (pretty expensive but can you put a price on freedom). Just to give you a idea about the rarity of what i purchased. The average weapon cost around 600$ and you get it the same day. I was kind of apprehensive about going through them for a big ticket item like that. But I went with the people who've served the community longest and I have a relationship with. They received the order at 2pm on a Thursday and told me to come in the next day to pick it up. I was in the parking lot 10 minutes after they opened . Went in and was greeted. They had a customer but still asked if I needed help. Whole process with paper work and inspection took maybe 15 minutes. Very fast. And during that time we had to drool over my new piece (they hadn't ever seen it). So the actual paperwork took maybe 9 minutes. I really inspected the purchase. Pet peeve is people molesting the weapon when it hasn't been lubricated properly. I could tell they hadn't touched it. I believe the FFL was 30$. Super nice people. I would recommend and use them again. ZERO PROBLEMS. *I can't speak on the prices for store items. I'm in the collector stage (rare). So I don't buy common mass produced things anymore. Just compare prices online before you buy. Talk to them and let them know the difference. They might be willing to adjust. This is a mom and pop kind of store. All the tags are handwritten so I'm sure they don't update daily. Just talk to them like real people and work it out. If the prices are close always go with the local guys. read more

I've purchased several items from them and have always been treated fairly and in a friendly manner. I'm comfortable asking them for advice. Only gave one star because I had to otherwise it'd be NO STARS. Staff in this establishment are the worst! The first time I ever entered they were extremely rude, because the didn't have a weapon light that would fit my gun. It's a newer gun and it's a micro compact so it was understandable. Then the second time I went here I witnessed them cut the man off asking for ammo. As soon as he would say something the woman immediately said no. When I could clearly see ammo up top. Staff here isn't helpful and they definitely don't care about your business! Take it right across the street to Nocked & Loaded or to Custom Defense in Killeen they have way better service. read more

These folks that run the store are wonderful people and give great service. Those that criticize the store are uninformed people. One has to understand that they are not a large chain store business. They can't buy guns for the sane price Academy of Walmart can, thus they can't sell them for lower prices either. They are able to give service and advice that the bigger stores don't have the experience to provide. You can't buy a gun at a cheaper store then expect Guns Galore to transfer the gun for you or mount your scope or handle a problem for you for nothing. If they seem rude sometimes it is because they get hundreds of calls every day for products they can't get from their suppliers because of the COVID-19 that is causing supply chain problems. Some callers get upset because they don't have the product. If they can order it they will stock it. They have a wide selection of guns here however the prices are on the higher end. My husband has bought a firearm and ammo here. I was incredibly angry when I made a 30 minute drive to pick up an item that was shipped to them only to find the store closed 1hr before the stated hours. I even called the day before to confirm they would be open. If it were due to an emergency, a sign on the door would have been nice. read more

I've purchased from them many times and highly recommend people check them out. Prices are reasonable and I prefer to support small local business over some big box store with management that sticks their finger in the wind to decide whether or not they will support our 2A rights tomorrow. read more

Awesome people here. I called from out of state to order a Scar 17s (when there were NONE to be found) and they put it on hold for me for two weeks, and sold it to me for $3000 when they were selling on gunbroker for $5000. They even had some mags stashed away they let me have for 1/2 what everyone else was paying. They could have easily told me they didn't have any more, and sold them for double - great people. Many places I go these days have poor customer service and are just plain rude sometimes. Almost 20 years ago I wanted to check out a store that had my hobby, guns. I was told by many people not to go to Guns Galore because their customer service was bad and they were rude. I am happy to report that nothing has changed. I recently has a firearm I had purchased shipped to guns galore. When I went to pick it up they were very friendly and went in the back to check and see if it had arrived once they confirmed it was there I filled out some paperwork gave them my CHL and paid $32 and was on my way with my firearm.
