Emily was an inspiration!…read more My fiancé Kyle and I were unsure of what to expect from our engagement shoot, but it was a walk in the park! We went to a spot of Emily's choice... and it couldn't have been more true to what we were hoping for. A little opening of water with large rocks nestled by the side of a simple walking path. By the water, she guided us with a few positions and then the rest came naturally. Afterwards we went on a stroll to a few different areas to play in, which brought us to a forested spot. It was a great experience, full of playfulness and ease. You couldn't ask for a more comfortable person to be with to capture your bond with the person you'll be spending your life with. Kyle and I are forever grateful to Emi. She truly created a comfortable environment which brought out our genuine nature and captured our story that will be treasured for a lifetime.

James came to my parents house to photograph me and my bridesmaids, and his assistant (so sorry for not remembering his name!) went to a hotel suite to photograph the groomsmen. James did a wonderful job with the photographs! He was very personable and knew exactly the pictures I want. During our ceremony, he got great pictures, and I don't even remember seeing him taking the pictures! He went above and beyond with the places where to get our pictures taken. We pretty much put it all in his hands and didn't have any idea where to go. My favorite picture is when James stopped traffic so we could run and get a picture in the middle of a street! In the end we had over 650 pictures! He gave us a jump drive as well as a photo album of his favorites. They are also hosted online. It has been great showing off the pictures and reliving the entire day! I definitely recommend James Kenneth Studios!

Considering we were living in California and getting married in upstate NY, it was almost a shot in the dark. Of course we had checked out the website and instantly fell in love with his style. We got married at the Glen Iris Inn which is inside a state park that has a gigantic waterfall in the background. Paul "threw in" a second photographer for no extra charge because I guess it's a good place to build up your portfolio which worked for us : ) The assistant met with my husband and his friends to capture them getting ready, while Paul came to take pictures of me and my girls. They were both very personable, outgoing and professional. They really took care of us on our big day and did an amazing job capturing so many wonderful moments. The pictures and our wedding album came out perfect!

Anyone can shoot a wedding but the connection that Mike has with people I think is most important. He is the type of person that once you meet him you feel like you have know him all of your life. His photos are incredible and the final product is pretty astounding. He has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. We needed to ask after editing to change some of the songs plus add some shots that we remember him shooting but did not make it in to the video. We just recently viewed the video on our 4K TV and realize the video is only 720p and looks like a home video. Plus some of the audio is delayed in relation to the video. All this for thousands of dollars.. not recommend.

It takes a couple months to get the final video becasue he puts in so much effort with editing and perfecting it. It was a great summary of the day from getting ready at my mom's until the end of the night. He stays with you allllll day! He put it to the best music and added baby pictures of us in the beginning with honeymoon pictures at the end. He slowed everything down a touch and just made it look beautiful! I recommend him to everyone and my sister in law is using him in a few months for her wedding. Plus - he is much more reasonable than anyone else that quoted for us. He is based in Rochester but will do weddings from Buffalo to Syracuse.

Throughout the planning time, she checked in often by email and helped us with our timeline and gave advice on other vendors. Prior to the wedding, Brittany and our videographer talked about working with each other as they had not done so previously. As we lived out of the area, we choose to not do an engagement session. Our wedding day was the first time we met Brittany in person. She made us feel so comfortable. A little after midnight on the night of our wedding, we had a teaser of pictures from our wedding day already! More photos came a few days later. We were so impressed by the pictures and the amazing turn around time. Our pictures came out amazing and Brittany was wonderful to work with!
