Custom Embroidery has been printing and embroidering the uniforms for my husband's company for years and they do such nice work.

As I work very close to this business, I wanted to give it a chance despite of the bad reviews on Yelp...well let just say that the bad reviews on Yelp are here for a reason.. I had an urgent job to make: have 20 polo shirts to be embroidered. Long story short: according to Carol, it would e very easy to reproduce our logo (in the end, she had to run 3 samples to look like our logo) + the deadline was clear from the beginning and was supposed to be no problem either. In the end, I had to wait for 1 hour to see a sample and the polo shirts were not ready on time. On the top of that, Carol confirmed that she had done her best and compare her business to an emergency room where you have to wait and there are unpredictable problems....I could not do anything but laugh... read more

This is the only place I would trust to embroider. They are always kind, and ready to accept my stuff. They do a very professional job every time. Would recommend anyone to use there service anytime. Never had an issue with getting my stuff in a reasonable amount of time. read more

Worst customer service around. "come on give me a break it's only 4 pieces" when asked why the hats that we're suppose to be embroidered a week ago where not ready (and it was more than 4 pieces). Obviously our order was not large enough or important enough for her. I used them once before and felt they had been giving me run around but 2nd time they confirmed how unprofessional they are. read more

Everybody has their own opinion... but my experience with Custom Embroidery was excellent!!! affordable prices, quote was provided over the phone, we even increase the logo for the same price. i have to admit I didn't read the reviews, since they are so close to my facility I just went and i am very satisfied with the product. Carol was very helpful and very nice to make the deal with. My items were done the same day =) , my jackets look very professional. I honestly recommend this place! First of all, I would like to point out that my job was in fact done "on time" according to our original verbal agreement / invoice and the work that they did was honestly good - however, I did have a tough week when it came to communicating with them. Please read on. I got quoted a very low price for a small embroidery job so I decided to try this place out. I went there last Friday and dropped my hats off and we tentatively (verbally) agreed that the job could be completed by Thursday - I said I would call my client to make sure that was okay and let her know. Her credit card machine worked but I brought the wrong credit card so I took home a credit card authorization to fill out. On the way back to the office I called my client and he asked if the job could be done by Wednesday as he had a convention on Thursday where he would like to have the hats. (Sidenote: I am a graphic designer / screen printer who unfortunately does not have the capability to do embroidery.) I got back, e-mailed the artwork and credit auth and in the e-mail I asked if we could bump the due date to Weds --- just one day for 40 hats does not seem like that drastic of a change - especially for a job that originally she had 6 days to complete. I heard nothing back (which is fine because it was the weekend) so I called on Monday morning. I spoke with the older lady that works there about bumping up the due date but it seems she didn't make any scheduling decisions so she said she'd have Carol call me back. I didn't hear back so I sent another e-mail asking for an update and just got an e-mail back saying "yes we processed your card, thanks". I e-mailed back "what about having them done by Weds?" ... nothing. Tuesday rolls around and at this point I'm getting quite worried. I sent another follow-up e-mail as well as called and spoke with the older lady yet again --- no e-mail or call returned and they're already closed (keep in mind all the while, I'm trying to run my own business so I'm in no position to babysit a job like this). Finally I call on Wednesday morning and ask "will this be done by tonight?" and she blows up and acts like this is the first time she's heard of any such thing. At first she offered a refund so I accepted and said I'd find someone else but then she then starts yelling at me "so what we spoke about is no longer valid?" and I'm trying to tell her that it was valid but I asked on Friday and I've been following up everyday but I've only gotten one response from her. She then asked "why didn't you stop by to ask in person" which is insane because her shop is a 15-20 minute drive from my office. She then basically starts yelling in circles saying she DID speak to me and she DID e-mail me back but in reality it was only the one e-mail and the one phone call last Friday. I tried to explain that e-mails are important because it's basically an electronic paper trail but she went back to her argument "so what we agreed on last week is no longer valid?" and I said it was tentative to begin with but there are plenty of e-mails and phone calls I've made where I requested a change (that's not uncommon, is it?) I finally called my client and basically had to tell them that there was no way I could get his hats to him and he just told me to get them asap and bring them over to the convention center today (Thursday). I called her back and finally just said finish them tomorrow. They honestly don't look bad but it was just an amazingly bad experience for something so small. *** EDIT I forgot to mention that on Wednesday evening she told me to pick them at noon Thursday - she then calls me today and tells me they won't be ready until after 2pm. I guess what we agreed on earlier is no longer valid, right? Sorry again for the rant but I wanted everyone to know about this hellish experience that I had with her. *** EDIT #2 She just called me after reading my review and pointed out that her card machine worked which it did, but as I brought the wrong debit card, it didn't go through because the funds were in my business account and I brought my personal debit card (she threatened to post the picture of the receipt which I really don't care about, but I figured I'd do the nice thing and make this edit). Also, I'd like to re-iterate that my job was done "on time" according to our first verbal agreement, but the rest about the goings on in between is all still completely accurate. read more

Terrible shop. Worst customer service. Called to inquire since I live close by. Immediately I was talked to like I should not have been calling. That should have been a red flag. I needed 1 patch to be stitched onto a hat. So I decided to walk in and was greeted unprofessionally and the lady was hesitant to let me in. She asked me where I wanted the patch. I told her. Then she asked "how many?" I said I only needed 1 done and she said "No we can't do it." WTF? STAY AWAY. Unhelpful! read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I dropped off items to be embroidered 6mos ago. The women never emailed me the design as promised. Then I get 2 angry phone calls to come and pick up my items. I just went out of my way to pick up tonight and the items aren't embroidered! 2 employees argued with each another in front of me and one of them asked me to come back in December because these were stockings and I didn't need them until then. Absolutely awful. The way the one woman spoke to me was so unacceptable. I will never ever recommend this company. If I could give no stars, I would. read more

Unfortunately I won't be using this place again. The first time I used them, I called ahead of time and was greeted by a woman who was nice and told me to come in with my order. She was the younger of the two women I saw. When I walked in I was greeted with s smile from her, meanwhile the other lady was glaring at me in the back. Anyways, dropped my order off... came back to pick it up in the time frame they gave me, but this time when I came, the other lady was at the door. She was talking to me and looking at me like I was lost , I told her I was there to pick up my order, and she acted like I was lying when meanwhile my clothes were sitting in broad daylight on the counter. I told her it was my order, then she preceded to go to the back to ask the other girl which almost seems like she was trying to make sure I was lying or trying to steal the items . She eventually let me have my clothes back lol. Then today, I called back in hopes that I'd be dealing with the other lady but I could tell over the phone it was not. I asked for something that the other lady already said she would do for me, I would have had them done at the same time as my other order but I was under a time constraint. Anyway, so I try to make an other, just a screenprint on a few shirts, and she told me "we don't do that here". And "she didn't have time for it" , and when I told her they said theyd do it last time I was in, she basically called me a liar and got really nasty over the phone. So NO, I will not be supporting the business of someone who is blatantly rude to customers. I don't know how they've survived so long after treating multiple customers this way. read more

Same problem as Jamie. I just called her for the design to be emailed me. I ordered items back a few months ago. She said if they don't reorder in the next couple of days they delete the file so I would have to pay for another setup. Ridiculous. I went to them because they have been around for awhile.
