Today I was struggling to find another birthday gift I could surprise my wife with for her birthday. It was awesome news for me to hear because I really wanted to surprise my wife. They were professional and customer friendly both in person and over the phone. They have three options of window tint from Global Window Films. You can choose from QDP, HP CHARCOAL, and QDP Ceramic. I chose the QDP Ceramic film. I know Ceramic is the way to go for sure if you're trying to beat the heat. I have used ceramic with one of my previous vehicles and I remember how it reduced the heat inside the vehicle. You can wait inside like I did. There are four chairs to sit on with one child seat. The total wait time is anywhere from an hour and half to two hours depending on your vehicle. You can also drop your vehicle off and come back when it's ready! Overall, my experience was very pleasant and enjoyed my time while waiting for my vehicle here. I learned when they were finished with my vehicle they're a family owned business with two brothers and their mother. They do offer a military discount upon requesting and showing the proper military or veteran ID. And you can schedule an appointment with them online, it take a $50 deposit that goes towards the cost of the window tint for your vehicle. Pretty awesome job keep it local in my book!! I wanted to replace the window tint on one window , After I gave them the vehicle description , they told me it's going to be $65 for the ceramic and $45 for the regular tint. When I got there they told me It's going to cost $110 plus tax on the ceramic. They also have 3 huge potholes at the entrance. These people are crooks , stay away from this place. read more

What an amazing job they did! First of all, Alice is the only female window tinter in the Austin area, so yay for girl power! I was in and out in probably 30 minutes and my windows look amazing. I just needed the front 2 to match the rear and this is the best job I have ever seen. I took a previous car elsewhere in town and the color of the tint didn't really match the rear windows - I called and they gave me the reasoning, but the difference was just a little too obvious for my liking. The other guys were also probably about 3x more expensive than Custom FX. Also, any spots, minor bubbles or anything they warned me about were gone within the same day. No issues at all, and a lifetime guarantee! Everyone was super friendly - I got to speak with the owner Alan for a bit while I waited. Also, while I was checking out, I mentioned that I would have to go home and put a sticky on my steering wheel to remind me to NOT ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS! The install has always been top notch and the tint has lasted all the years I keep the vehicles. This time around, I picked up my factory-ordered 2020 RAM 1500 on 9/12. The first call the next morning was to them to schedule the tint work for the front two windows. They kindly worked me in for that afternoon due to my schedule. While there I shot the breeze with them, and then inquired about also doing that massive sunroof that just lets the heat pour in. Stopped by this shop on a whim as a competitor couldn't get me in and what a surprise! Amazing work that was performed quickly and after inspecting the work, it's clear that this shop takes care of their clients and pays attention to the little details. Tint is cut perfectly and tucked below the bottom window line so that the tint will last much longer than how some shops stop above the line where eventually it starts to peel when the window is lowered repeatedly. The price was very reasonable and it had a quality family-owned vibe to it. I worked with Alice and Allen many years ago on a couple cars, great work. Then I used Sun Tint a couple times, they were good too but I had some bubble issues they had to redo, which can happen anywhere. I went there for a quote this last time and was going to full metal hi-grade film on all windows for the first time, and wasn't liking how the quote came together and wasn't sold on the film. I went back to Alice and Allen and got the latest full metallic film they have been working with and it's working out well and looks great. They stand behind their work and are the most competitive that I found after some addl. calling around before pulling the trigger. These folks do fantastic work! I had the front windows tinted on an older pickup truck two months ago. They were able to perform the work quickly and professionally. The ceramic film they use just can't be beat. I have been in other vehicles with tinted windows and while the light was filtered, the glass radiated tremendous amounts of heat. The ceramic film used by Custom FX filters the light AND rejects the heat. The difference is amazing. I can't recommend these folks enough! read more
