This is not about custom ink but rather the face mask they are selling. I would give it zero stars but one star is the lowest I can go. I'm a business owner and purchased these mask for my employees. When they arrived I can't even begin to tell you how bad they were. I couldn't even pass these out they are so bad. On there website it says the customers rated it five stars. No way did anyone give these five stars so I call BS on that. Custom ink you should be ashamed to sell these mask on your site. It's a bad representation of what you consider a good product! I should have looked at actual reviews before ordering, unfortunately I didn't and am now left with 12 pieces of junk. Every single negative review about these mask are true. They are thin, The ear holes stretch and start to tear and while wearing the fabric will start to roll in on it's self so it won't keep your nose covered. I can't even imagine how these would look out of the dryer. I definitely wouldn't consider them reusable. I had hoped to give these to my husband and his coworkers, but I definitely won't be doing that. I'm so disappointed and it's such a waste of money. Hopefully the Customer service is better than the product and I can get a refund. I feel like I've been sold snake oil. I honestly don't see how they can sell such a terrible product. Avoid this firm and use a local print shop instead. Local shops will work with you, if you find that you need need additional product, changes, or add-ons. CustomInk discards your artwork almost as soon as the product ships and you will need to start from scratch with them. read more

Custom Ink did a great job with my order of 22 printed hoodies for a family reunion. Customer service was helpful and answered all my questions when placing my order. When the hoodies arrived, I noticed a few with some fuzzy printing..I let them know...They contacted me...and quickly replaced the shirts at no charge. I designed a moderately complex t-shirt on CustomInk.com and placed my order. Heard nothing from them, then after 3 weeks, received a refund to credit card with no explanation! They are not communicative, and be warned: Should your item design be even moderately complex, they may not be able to do it (SEE PHOTO). I received one batch of shirts from them that was awesome. The next batch... I was provided a proof that had a purple and gold design. When it came in, the "purple" was AT BEST a fushia, and definitely more pink. I asked for assistance in getting the correct product, and the best they can say is the generic "your screen must have displayed the color wrong". Well, I ordered a purple shirt and what I received was not purple. They are refusing to work with me to sort this out. While they have offered a refund, I'm still deciding if I will drop the subject and take the refund or attempt to elevate the situation. All I wanted was what was promised - purple. read more

After browsing several websites, I chose Custom Ink because of their relatively easy online design space and the brands of their sweatshirts. Unlike several reviews below, I never had an issue getting ahold of customer service, and one of my deliveries even arrived a week earlier than expected. The issue I unfortunately encountered was the quality of embroidery. I thought what I needed was pretty basic - a hospital logo with customized names underneath, with the names being aligned underneath the logo. I used the chat feature with a few different representative from Custom Ink and was assured this could be done and a proof was approved. Unfortunately what I received did not match my proof at all- the threading was so thin it was nearly eligible, several hospital logos were printed slanted, and the customized names appeared randomly applied, and no where near aligned with the hospital logo. I sent photos of the sweatshirts to customer service and was quite pleased with their response- we could keep the sweatshirts and they would re-send us new ones free of charge. I again worked with someone from their team and created a 2nd design with a thicker font. I was assured the logo would not be slanted and that customized names would be aligned with the hospital logo, and not placed randomly on the sweatshirt. Unfortunately, the second batch of sweatshirts came printed almost exactly like the first (slanted and sloppy), with the exception of the font change. I again emailed Custom Ink and was told that ultimately what I wanted was never a guarantee? and I should've been told that initially? I was then offered a 3rd order of sweatshirts, just without the custom names, or they could refund me 30%. I emailed them back a copy of their 100% money back guarantee policy and fortunately was fully refunded. Although their customer service was very attentive, it does not seem that all their representatives are on the same page about what can and cannot be printed. The point of their proofs is to "prevent surprises" and all I received were surprises. I also did not appreciate them only offering me 30% when their website clearly has a 100% money back guarantee statement. I would not order something from them again. read more

I messed up the color selection of an order and did not realize it until the order was submitted. I quickly realized there was no way to edit an order after submission, so I submitted a comment for help on the generic "contact us" option hoping someone may see my cry for help. Well, they did attempted to contact me via email for a week to edit and process my order which I did not see. They then escalated the contact to a direct text asking me exactly what I wanted/ needed changed before processing. This showed me the level of integrity and customer service for delivering the exact product the customer wants regardless of simply processing a sale. Very impressed and will definitely use their services again simply because of their efforts. read more

While their customer response/support team was great, their quality control department has clearly lowered their standards. We received one shipment of good logo shirts, one of very thin, poorly applied logo shirts. When we shipped the second shipment back, they indicated it passed their "quality standards." Unfortunate. If you're looking for a good deal, and are willing to sacrifice the look of your logo and the quality of the product, they are reasonably priced. There was a slight snag with the graphics on the shirts I requested but Miryana was immediate with her follow up on solutions for the issue, as well as helpful suggestions for a resolution. This is an update to my previous review. Had a support agent reach out here on Yelp after my previous review "claiming" to want to help. I was asked to provide order numbers and etc. I provided and said look forward to hearing back and getting this taken care of. After a day I asked for an update, another day passed and asked for another. It took 5 days for this to respond back with me asking for updates. Their response is I see you've been working with so and so from chat. Which as clearly stated in my original review was part of the problem. After more back and forth on Yelp and through emails with support. Neither side wanted to provide any help. The yelp person did nothing at all besides posting a comment on my original review trying to make it look good that they were reaching out, beyond that it was a lie. After much struggle with the support agents in email they finally had me send the product back for a full refund. In the mean time I placed an order at Uberprints got my shirt designed for less and it came the perfect color just a couple days later. Save yourself the trouble. The shirts from CustomInk came twice with the wrong color and lots of "debris/fibers" in the ink making it a rough print area. The shirt from Uberprints came smooth and the correct color first try. ----------------------------------------- Let me start off by saying if I had to option to leave zero stars I would. Several weeks ago I placed an order on CusomInks Website it was my own custom design, I uploaded my personal logo onto the design lab and created a shirt. I needed the shirt by a specific date for an event so I upgraded my shipping to 1 week shipping. I was very excited in anticipation to finally have a shirt with my brand logo on it. The package is delivered, I grab it out of the mailbox anxious to rip it open and see my shirt. To my disappointment the shirt print was an entirely different color than my logo. I looked at the shirt and saw white lines on the edge of my logo print, and there are white fibers all in ink of my logo. I am pretty upset because I now can't wear this to my event. I reach out to support to get it corrected. The first person I deal with was very friendly and promised they would get the quality better and get the color corrected. To ensure that the color would match my expectations even asked me to find the perfect Panatone color to match my logo. After some research and googling I found Panatone 2159 C. This color matched my logo almost exactly. I had back and forth emails with support related to quality and some other questions. At some point the support person switched and the next support person was a lot less friendly and a lot more acted like it was my fault and it is what it is etc. So fast forward to yesterday I receive my order yesterday and again am exited to receive my shirt. I open the package again and this time the logo is just stone grey. If you google Panatone 2159C you see that its a Dark Bluish Green. This time at least the white line are gone on the edge, but the white fibers are worse than ever and all through the printed ink. It ruins the smooth look of the printed area and makes it look rough and cheap. Again I reach out to support and now am dealing with a third person who is claiming the color 2159C looks just like my picture of the shirt. One is grey and the other is blue. Claiming the fibers are just a "side effect" of the digital printing process. If this was the case any shirt digitally printed would look just like this and I have never seen a shirt with so much debris printed into the design. The other thing that was said to me is its when the ink binds to the garment. However the ink is grey and the garment is black but the fibers/debris are white. Instead of offering to correct it I was offered 30% off my next purchase. When I sent examples of what 2159C looked like versus the shirt I was instead offered a 30% refund. A 30% refund on something I never actually got what I ordered. They should be offering me a full refund and a corrected shirt at this point. read more

I just got my shirts today and was blown away with the job they did. My old US Army unit tee shirt was finally about to give out after 25 years of wear. The lettering is cracking, the image is faded, cracking, and pealing. Not to mention the shirt material is paper thin at this point. (Shout out to 3rd BN 27th Infantry (L) WOLFHOUNDS) LIGHTFIGHTERS My wife loves to represent by wearing her papi's Army tee shirt when we go for walks and exercise--how sweet, right? I wasn't sure the best way to go about getting reproductions made, as I'm sure this shirt logo is nowhere to be found. I thought about spending $$$ buying software and then hours cleaning up a digital picture, to get it ready for a printing company. But I decided to consult my younger brother who has a 'design' background and is in NY. I'm out in CA. He wanted pics, so I emailed him a few. An Hour later he emailed me a mock up pic of it, ready for printing. It looked good, but it looked like it was from an old worn original image. But I was happy to just have a copy made. My brother told me "it will look retro" and I was fine with that. And all I knew was that he would arrange for printing. I wanted to order a dozen. That way my wife will have enough of papi's Army shirts for the rest of her life--I'll never have to figure this out again. I do really think it's sweet that she likes to represent like that!! ...Thanks for reading along till this point. Here's the big finish. When a box was delivered today, I was curious to see how they came out. When I opened the box and saw the final product I could not believe my eye--REALLY!!! The Image and lettering was brand new!! They took the time to somehow clean up the detailed image and lettering. It is beyond all expectations, and I'm thrilled. I just had to jump on Yelp and share my story of what Custom Ink was able to do for me. These are more than just 'logo' tee shirts--they are a connection to a very important part of my history. So, if you have a very special tee and want the memory to live on, I'd really recommend having Custom Ink do the job. The shirts cost like $20 a piece, but they are actually priceless. I will never order from custom ink again. Before I placed my order, I contacted a representative to find out if the shirts are screen printed or heat transferred and I was told that if I wanted my order screen printed that they would do so. I requested screen printing and awaited my order. Once it arrived it was obvious that it was not screen printed and instead they did the heat transfer and in addition, half of the printing on the shirts was off center. I called custom ink and spoke to a representative who apologized and asked if I wanted a refund or to have the shirts redone the proper way, she also told me a specific date I would receive them by if I were to take the replacement. I told her I needed to think about it and I would call her back. I called back because I decided to give them one more chance and said I would take the replacement. This representative, that was different than the first one I spoke to, said I would receive them on the specific day that was already quoted to me by the last rep I spoke to. The day I was expecting the shirts came and went, and I received nothing. I then contacted custom ink again and the representative I spoke to said that I had been lied to and that it was impossible for them to get them printed and sent out in the timeframe I was promised. Now if I've been told by one representative, this supposed lie, then I could understand a mistake was made, but two separate people had told me the same thing. I still have not received my reprinted shirts. I am beyond mad. Do not trust this company. You will get low quality shirts if you receive them at all. read more

I could write a really long email detailing the recent horrors and frustration I've experienced with their subpar printing, centering issues, and extremely thin ink prints, but I'll spare you all that and just say...Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do your shirt printing. They will not meet their own deadline and they wont give you a heads up that it will be late. They will wait for you to get a hold of them to acknowledge it and then say they were having trouble with a printer and there was no way to know which orders they sent to that printer, so they couldnt warn you...apparently they operate with the note and pad system because even a 20 year old computer system would have an EASY time tracking which orders went to which shops. The company does good printing but really did me wrong. I had 3 people at Customink check out my design for a shirt. All said it was fine. I spent hours more tweaking it. Placed the order and was then told that they wouldn't print it because it used an M C Escher print as part of a parody. Why didn't they tell me that right off instead of telling me it was okay. I spent hours doing work, taking orders, collecting checks. Now I have to return the checks and apologize to all that I took orders from. They were very nice to me and tried to make it up but there was no way that they could because they still wouldn't print the shirt. Find a company who tells you correct information the first time. This was a horrible experience. Addendum: Customink asked me if they could create a new logo for me. Very nice of them but absolutely nobody wanted the logo that Custonink created. They wanted the logo that Customink told me that they would print and then told me that they would not print after I put in additional hours and work into the design. read more

I've been using Custom Ink for years. I've ordered hundreds of shirts/sweatshirts from them for various groups I work with. I only started having issues with them last year, but this last order experience is/was bad enough that I may have to find another company to work with going forward. Prior to placing the order, I had a lot of help from CustomInk staff in trying to work out the details of our design, as a few modifications had to be made from when the design was made previously. Unfortunately, things went downhill pretty fast after I placed the order. A couple of days after I ordered, I received the proofs. I had a few other people look over them, then went to approve them only to find that CustomInk had approved them for me. I ended up having to call to make sure the changes we needed were implemented, which CustomInk confirmed they were. With an order date of 11/17, our guaranteed delivery date was 12/2. I received a call asking if the shirts could arrive 12/3 instead. I wasn't too happy, but said it was fine as long as it was only a one day delay. On the evening of 12/1 (after 7 PM) I was informed that the shirts would not all arrive on 12/3. 3 shirts had been delayed. I asked for them to be overnighted to arrive by 12/4 at 10 AM & was told by Sara that they could accommodate that, and that the rest of my order would still arrive on 12/3. CustomInk didnt ship my order, minus the 3 shirts we had discussed, until late on 12/2. Needless to say, they didn't arrive on 12/3. Today, 12/4, I received 17 of 60+ items. The 3 shirts they promised would arrive today by 10am didn't arrive & are not slated to arrive until Tuesday, & I'll have to try to track down the remainder of our order, so that will likely be an added delay. I have spent hours on the phone with CustomInk this week, and still don't have all my items. If you have a deadline I would recommend finding another company to work with. read more

There´s a reason their Facebook page doesn´t allow you to post a review. 1. Our order was incorrect. They shorted us several shirts (all of which were larger sizes that they upcharged us for, because of course they were) for a rush order for which we paid significantly more). They were unable to reprint the shirts for us in time for our event. 2. The sales team's attitude to the issue was essentially "That sucks. Too bad! We could get them to you AFTER they've become useless though!" Not helpful. 3. A good chunk of the shirts appear to have brown spotting on them, like a printer spilled some chocolate on them (on white shirts, of course). Never using them again. Awful product I ordered (1) 4XL shirt with custom print there was no choice for 3XL Tall so I went for a 4XL. I could have ordered a 10XL and that wouldn't have been big enough either. The quality is horrible, and yes they literally cut t-shirts. While their shirts may be reliable and what they specialize in, they should have passed on the masks and definitely not charge $30. They have a great team working at CustomInk. On the one hand, you will probably have to work with several different reps during the ordering process, as there is one single email and anyone at the company can read it and respond to it. They try to keep it to the same person as much as possible. But if that person is unavailable or hasn't responded in a period of time, someone else will step in and answer your questions for you. In my most recent experience, I spoke with 4 different T-Shirt Ambassadors as they call them, and 2 different sales team members when I called to place the order. They are all very kind and professional. The only issue I had is that they kept changing my t-shirt design, sometimes very slightly, other times a lot. And not all times did they inform me of everything they changed. Luckily I pay close attention to details and notice every change. I just placed the order, so I'm hoping no other changes are made. But if so, they will contact me and let me know of any changes prior to printing. They have a 2 weeks guaranteed delivery free of charge which is very nice. The prices are very reasonable, and they even allowed me to pick several different sizes and colors while still getting a bulk discount. I had a very positive experience with them and would definitely recommend them. read more
