Unfinished concrete. Left acid to put on the cement to clean off their mess and permanently damaged the cement

STOP!!!! Pick someone else. From their communication with the customer to the quality of their work, this company is managed poorly. For starters, we were told to contact different people to address our issues throughout the process. When we tried to contact the project manager, she did not ever answer the phone and still has a voicemail set up from her vacation back in March. We had to call multiple times and different people to get a hold of anyone that we could relay our issues to. Once some eventually got back in touch with us, the reaction time to respond to an issue was just as bad. As another example of poor communication: We asked multiple times for a notification when someone would be at the house so we could be there, however this rarely happened. When it did, they would show up thirty minutes to hours late. The work was subpar at best too. The concrete slab was not finished correctly so they had to chip it out so it could be resurfaced. The concrete around the edge of the structure was supposed to be sloped so it would drain, but it wasn't done correctly. So now we'll have to brush the water off after every rain to avoid staining the concrete (which is already happening). They didn't even offer to fix it, they just took off $500 because they know fixing it would cost much more and it would save time. The paint job was splotchy. They left our backyard a mess with concrete all over our fence and all the grass torn up in one area. Hand prints on our house and dirt everywhere. We had to ask multiple times and bring the issue up to the owners of the company to finally have someone come pick up their mess. The concrete on the fence never got corrected and we had to plant seeds for new grass ourselves. Overall, go to someone else. It's a poorly ran company who will talk to you when it's time to pay up. A small house was built in faster time than it took them to build a covered area/shed building. 0 out of 0 stars. Absolutely horrible experience all around.

Great Staff, Professional Installation and Service We hired Custom Outdoor Concepts to install an outdoor kitchen The staff was very friendly and professional. I was provided a quote on site and needed to ask a few questions and make some revisions in the weeks leading up to the project. I was always contacted and provided with a revised quote within 24 hours. Work began within 4 business days of deciding to hire Custom Outdoor Concepts and was completed within 4 weeks of the start; and, there was a holiday and a weather event during the project. The staff was great to work with; very friendly and professional. I was kept informed of the progress at all times and we received a beautiful product. We have received many compliments on the outdoor kitchen that Custom Outdoor Concepts installed; and, I have already requested that two of my neighbors consider them for a project. Before making a decision, please consider Custom Outdoor Concepts on your next project.

Custom Outdoor Concepts built our pergola and pool deck. Frank and his crew provided a lot of our personal touches and incorporated our ideas and equipment to make a truly wonderful outdoor entertainment and a cooking area. Thanks to the team for a job well done.

The installer back then connected the fireplace to the hard steel gas pipe using copper tubing instead of flexible steel tubing. The original fireplace wore out, and I had Southern Sweeps install a new one. Their technician connected the fireplace to the gas supply using the existing out-of-code copper tubing, which, incidentally, had a kink in it. The technician tested the fireplace, told me everything was fine, and left. After he left, we smelled gas and called the gas company. The gas company detected gas coming from the kinked copper tubing. That was the first I knew anything was wrong with the connection. The Southern Sweeps installer should have refused to connect the fireplace until a licensed plumber connected it to the gas supply using flexible steel piping. Instead, he left us in a dangerous situation with a gas leak.

I have had trouble with my door since day one. Now 2.5 years in my my house and the garage door is extremely loud. I've had garage doors my entire life with no trouble before. Also second rate garage door opener. Stick with Liftmaster. They have perfected the opener. I would give Southern Sweeps less stars if that were possible.

First off let me start by saying I've only live here at Mandeville Lake for about 3 months now -…read moreI've lived in various apartment communities to know that the first few months of a new apartment is great and then they show their true colors. So keep that in mind. I moved here from Cypress Lake apartments (feel free to read my swiftly down-spiral review of Cypress Lake from someone who lived there for 12+ yrs), and can say Mandeville Lake is definitely a step up! Apt units are more bigger (in comparison to Cypress Lake) and open. Could use more closet space, imo. Love, LOVE the oversized garden tub. There were a couple odds and ends of my apt that needed repairing and they came out in reasonable time to fix it - my a/c wasn't blowing out cold air and they came after a couple hours after calling them to repair it. When I first moved in my fireplace didn't work (cheesy-looking electric fireplaces I may add), I sent in a maintenance request for it through the website and it took them nearly a week to come look at it. So I guess, if you want them to repair something quickly, it's best to call it in rather than emailing the request or doing so through Mandeville Lake's website. ‍ The grounds are kept up well. I'm always seeing staff riding around in their golf carts tending to things. Staff, both office and maintenance, are good. Don't bother going in the office during lunch time cause no one will be in there - I learnt that quickly. I only dealt with two of the maintenance guys, one is uber nice and the other is aloof who forgets to lock my door behind himself; perhaps, in his defence, he doesn't lock my door because I'm home? So far... I've gotten two proper notices within reasonable ahead of times of them needing to come into my apt for some plumbing work that needed to be done to the building, but no notice of pest control coming. I have a love-and-hate relationship with the gate. So far the gate hasn't "broke", which is a common tale of gated apt communities. But it did take me forever to find out what's my Callbox Code, let alone find my name on it. The elevator in every building is really nice - a perfect feature for those who love top floor apt units but hate/cannot do stairs. My only gripe about the elevator is its dirty. Not that I'm 'anal' or anything, but the elevator looks like it has NEVER been cleaned in all its years of service - at least the elevator in my building looks that way. They offer a little courtesy cart to use for your groceries and etc. Really nice and convenient. My biggest complaint is parking. There's no enough tbh. If you can budget the extra $100 a month for the garage, than do so. Or you gonna find yourself coming home and having to park a couple buildings over away from yours. Apts units do offer security systems. If I recall, $80 activation/$20 per month for it. The washer and dryer is the stackable kind and somewhat small tub-sized. Noise-wise - except from the cars whisking by on Highway 22, I don't really hear much of anything else. It's pretty quiet. In Cypress Lake Lake apt I could hear my upstairs neighbors dog chewing on his rawhide bones as clear as I would if I was up there, sitting right next to him. Here I rarely hear my upstairs neighbors move around. Since my apt is right above the garage, I do hear (...and feel) the car and garage opener below my feet. Safety-wise: I feel pretty safe here and it is a safe area of town. I do think the halls and corridors of the buildings could use a bit more brighter lightening. I haven't tried the gym out yet. There's a big blue tarp in the pool (I guess it's not open yet), and I don't have the energy to walk over to the tennis court let alone play it. I haven't used the car was area neither, but soon enough will once the weather permits. Price point: Mandeville Lake isn't the cheapest, nor the most expensive - they're mid-price range, tbh. For what's offered and their age, the rental rates seem to be ok. As I've said before, these Apts are about in the same class as Botanica or Chenier apts. Overall I like it here a lot and is very pleased with my decision to live here. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5-Star rating is because I just moved here and still getting to know this place. Only time will tell if I add or subtract a star or two. Stay tuned!

From 12pm waiting and they showed up at 5 pm. Took 5 hours to move a simple job one bedroom set and an office w 20 ready to go boxes two tvs a round table and armor . They over charged me and broke my tv. One guy looked totally high wobbling all over the other was throwing up. Asking me for water and food almost dying of dehydration and were sloppy when their boss said they were late for taking lunch. This people seemed like they got picked up from the corner and had no idea what they were doing. DO NOT HIRE THEM u will pay the price like I did. The people they sent other than the girl were not fit to do the job and I lost a tv because of it and paid two times more the quoted time because of their unprofessionalism and they even lost the key to the truck. I got the run around every time I called and lost over one thousand dollars because of them. I don't wish that for anyone. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY this move was a horrific experience. I had to help because they weren't doing it. One tv broken and 5 hours later for 3 people plus me is unacceptable. I will not be threatened or forced to take this review down like they do to others and tried to do to me. BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THEM
