One Source is the ONLY company that gave me even an interview. I have extenuating circumstances which include a long gap in my work history. One Source opened up the only opportunity I was offered in two years of a job search. The staff at the Hazleton Office are good people. They care. They care more than most, and they are human. I made more than one mistake and did not deserve a second chance, but was given one. The benefits are not great - insurance, etc - but that's the nature of the economy now. What you are looking for today is a company that pays you on time, tells you the rules so that you can hope to live up to them, and who will help you stand up again if you find yourself on your back. The first warehouse they set me up with employed me for 14 paychecks. Make no mistake, I was incredibly angry when my "assignment ended" with no warning. I went to work Monday night, and Tuesday morning was told not to show up again. But I know this came from the company, not One Source. The good news is that One Source had me a new job in less than a week. The new job came with a 50 cent per hour raise; I've been there six weeks and have been told by my coaches from the company - not One Source - that they plan to retain me as a full time employee. I have to give credit where it is due, and One Source gets most of it. If you meet Madeline from the Hazleton office, you will have met a person who understands what it is like to need and want a job in this economy. She will help you find a job. She will help you fit into your job, to keep it, and she'll do it with a smile and good nature. This woman knows her job, and she understands humankind - both ends. Yes, the economy runs on temporary assignments, and that sucks. But don't hate the game so much you forsake the honest players. One Source is a loyal companion in a jungle full of jackals.

The rep was belligerent, condescending, rude, nasty, uncaring. Every inquiry I tries to make he shot it down. Only upon my insistence, perseverance was I given information I told him part of my repertoire was having a positive atitude, since all who come to a job fair are unemployed. His response was "well I have a negative attitude" end quote. I stated to the other rep that her male companion is in the wrong business since being a rep at your agency means having contact with unemployed folk. I will be filing a formal complaint indicating your reps treatment of unemployed Hispanic population since I observed that all other non-Hispanic who approached your agency were treated with respect.
