I have been going to Felix at Cut & Go barbershop for over 20 years. He has cut my hair and my son's hair for many years. He does a great job cutting my hair and my son's. They also cut women's hair. My mother in law gets her haircut by the ladies and is very happy with their service. If I go in and he's not available, the ladies are also great barbers. I came in here for a quick cut. It was fast but the service I reserved was mediocre. My fade in the back was uneven and didn't realize till I got home. When at the shop I asked to see the back to which I was told they didn't have a second mirror. I asked for a mid fade and was given a high fade. Just as good as Super Cuts. The mission of this place is efficiency - get people in and out of the chairs as quickly as possible. They don't even bother to clean their equipment in between. That is utterly disgusting!!! Not to mention no regard for Covid safety protocol. For $20 a cut, you get what you pay for. Had the worst experience there today and will never come back. read more

My regular barber is in vacation so I decided to try this place. Read reviews so I tried it. Bad experience for me though. I asked for a "little" trim, "don't cut too much, I like it longer." First 10 seconds this lady cut a huge chunk of hair out above my ear. I said "what are you doing? I said just clean it up a little!?!?!" She told me I'm just giving you a regular haircut sir. It's not what I asked for. I had to let her finish though because she cut so much off in her first few seconds. I was so angry and disappointed. Ridiculous. It's not that hard to "trim a little." Apparently Felix gives good haircuts but I won't try this place again. read more

I've been going to Felix (the owner) for over 20 years now! I love his place. It's a good old-fashioned barber shop and NOT a salon. He works with 2 women so if you prefer a haircut from the ladies-you can have it. All three barbers seem especially good with kids, and they even have a kiddie chair that looks like an airplane. I won't lie-Felix IS a friend, but a friend I've never spent time with outside his shop. I actually look forward to going there to get my hair(s) cut!! Try it-I think anyone would. read more

Fantastic little barber shop. Felix was my barber and he was friendly, fast, proficient, and professional. He clearly knows what he's doing and does it well. He took his time without taking his time...if that makes sense. I was able to get a seat right when I walked in the door, was greeted with smiles (and sent off the same), and the atmosphere was all around friendly and chill. Just went here, showed the lady what I wanted just a mid fade on the side said to just blend the back a bit but don't cut it off. She then says "Oh a Mohawk" told her no I just want it faded on the sides. She goes "okay okay". Proceeds to cut off 3 inches of hair from the top and then buzzes off the whole back of my head and sides and then does a hack job of lining everything up. My older brother had to fix it. It took her less than 15 mins to do the "cut" shouldn't call yourself a barber shop at all should be called a horrible cut in under 20mins. read more

Took my almost 2 year old here for a haircut. Super friendly staff and our girl had all the tricks! My son (who hates to have his ears, head, etc...messed with) didn't even realize what was going on and didn't take any notice to the clippers at all! This Salon was pretty nice looking with a very kind staff, although that's about the only thing it has going for it. The barbers are inexperience, bad at following directions and asking for clarification. THEY SERIOUSLY MESSED ME UP AROUND THE EARS. Definitely do not recommend. Especially for the price. read more

Found this place on yelp and decided to come due to the reviews and it being so close to home. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Walking in, we were greeted very warmly by All the staff. My husband was first to be taken care of by Sue. He got a basic shear only haircut that came out so good. I noticed she was very friendly and made for good convo. About 2 minutes after my husband was taken it was my youngest sons turn. He chose the jeep truck chair to get his hair done. I told Felix I wanted a short boy cut that I could comb to the side and cleaned around the ears. He was amazing!!! My son is two and gets antsy. Felix was so fast and patient. My sons hair came out so stinkin cute!! Everything I asked for was done, what more could I ask for!? Afterwards, the boys and I sat waiting for the husband to finish. There are a few toys for the kids to keep themselves occupied and Felix gave the boys a small ball to play with the basketball hoop. They were also offered lollipops as well ( I loved that he asked me first instead of offering without my consent). Overall, great place! We will for sure be coming here all the time now :D read more

I've been coming specifically to Cut and Go, for 13 years now, starting when I lived in Santa Clarita, & I've never had a bad experience once. I've lived in Porter Ranch for last 10 years, and still drive to Cut and Go, twice a month, because the people, environment, and haircuts are great. The place & bathroom is always clean. I came to the barbershop at 8:15 AM after a 12 hour shift a night. I ask Felix the owner to get me a haircut since my regular person was not in the barbershop. He refused to cut my hair. I beg him to cut it and he refused again. He asked me to wait for Bere and stated that she was going to show up at 9. I waited for her 45 minutes. I came back into the barbershop and she was not there. I felt disappointed because I was turned back by the owner and he was very upsetting that I had to wait 45 minutes for the employee to shut up to work. Long story short I was very upset and left the barbershop. I told Dillender it was not right because I have to come back to work for another 12 hour shift at night time. Is a horrible customer service. He as the owner Should make the customer happy. I will not recommend this barbershop to anyone if they are with a very limited time and not able to wait for irresponsible people to show up. I will never bring my business back again. read more

I found this place through an ex boyfriend and didn't have a use to going here because it's a Barber Shop. When I had my first son was born I figured I'd come check this place out. Almost ten years later I still take my son here and will take my second and third here as well. Felix is great with the kids and very friendly. It doesn't feel like your typical salon, it feels old school and homey. My dad takes my son here and Felix always calls my sons hair cut the Grandpa Special, which is just an added shampoo lol. The prices are very decent and it would still be worth the trip if it was a bit more pricey. I also like Bernice as well, but overall all of the options are good. It can get busy but they are pretty good at giving you a wait time estimate and you can leave and come back. Worth the time to check it out. read more

I don't think the woman understood some of what I requested. She was very nice, but I just got a much better hair cut at a salon down the street. Go at your own risk! I Don't recommend. I went in because my usual barber was busy. I took a photo of what I wanted (low mid fade and trim of the top). The fade was so uneven. I had many long hairs and they said that they wouldn't trim the top with scissors. Why did they accept to cut my hair in the first place. The lady was rushing. Terrible experience. Felix does a good men's cut, but the women leave a lot to be desired. One (NOT Teresa) absolutely butchered my son's hair last time we were there. She asked if she could trim his sideburns, I said yes. She proceeded to shave them off completely. She then left his bangs uneven and took a chunk out of the neckline. I was furious but kept my cool and Teresa had to do her best to fix it. Teresa did decent with my son but my hubs saw her on his last visit and he wasn't happy with the result - a buzz. He asked for longer on top, shorter on the sides, ended up with something similar to a Marine 'high & tight'. I'm not sure if the other woman is licensed, I don't see how it is possible, but Felix does a good cut. Lastly - they really don't clean up after each client - hair is all over the seats - and they reuse the same smock all day long. read more

But, with previous experiences with one specific employee who thought it necessary to scold/lecture me about asking for a specifications of a haircut to be done (which I did). They couldn't provide a receipt which I can take to my filming job (since I'm getting weekly haircuts) but, which was even more odd was her reasoning was "we don't give a receipt because it's cash" which also isn't correct. But, she had no inclination of helping me either get a digital receipt or anything just happily walked the first customer of the day out of the door. Super cuts it is. read more
