Aaron created bespoke artwork for us that celebrate our heritage in macadamias, that was created into a mural, merchandise, and expanded also into community events in Hilo as well as Honolulu to celebrate our partnership. Mauna Loa is the heritage macadamia brand from Hawai'i, and it was an honor for us to work with Aaron to give back to the community that we are both a part of. Aaron is from Hilo, and worked with the local schools that he went to- Kamehameha Schools in creating the mural. We threw a Mauna Loa x Aaron Kai community event that was extremely well received, and our staff have commented on how the mural has lifted morale at the plant, as it is such a beautiful piece that everyone sees on their way to work. It was incredibly impressive. Seriously, the detail that Jeff Raum puts into his work his second to none. Performing in front of this set felt like being on Broadway.
