My favorite gate for dining options, and so thrilled they have SanTan Spirit House now! Sip Coffee & Beer has been my usual go to as well. Pedal Haus is great if you have more time. Can't go wrong and security is usually pretty quick at this gate as well.

I even remember stories of Terminal 1 being torn down when I was younger. As I would most often find myself flying American Airlines or Southwest Airlines, Terminal 4 is where I travel into and out of the most. Unlike friends who absolutely hate flying, I enjoy the travel experience, especially when using some helpful tools like CLEAR, Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check, airport lounge membership, and airline status. While I usually fly American Airlines, I do occasionally fly Southwest Airlines and either skip the check-in area if I do not need to check bags (as I check in online or upstairs) or I will check in the priority area for any assistance or checking bags. I then will usually go to the C gate check-in if I am flying Southwest Airlines). From the D gates, I can go to the C or A gates if need be, especially if I wanted to use the Chase Sapphire Lounge nearby (for my one visit/year thanks to my AMEX Platinum/Priority Pass). I use Global Entry & CLEAR to skip most of the line at Security and keep my shoes on (again, thanks to an American Express Platinum card which comes with credits for both). The checkpoints are hit and miss as only one of the four Terminal 4 checkpoints are open for CLEAR when I typically travel (and it's not the D checkpoint). But during regular business hours, it is nice to have the CLEAR line in addition to Pre-Check and the other lines. The D checkpoint is never as busy as the A checkpoint, and it services Southwest Airlines and is close to at least one decent airline lounge (and a short walk from an Admirals Club in the A gates). The staff are great and helpful, and the lines typically move quickly. As such, when flying Southwest, I'll continue to go through the C and D checkpoints for the foreseeable future.

He was very good and nice vehicle however he showed up over 20 minutes early. Called to let me know he was waiting outside. Big problem was with the pick up at the airport, i called at 2 that afternoon to confirm he would be there. He confirmed he had all flight information and would track our flight. I requested the driver text me as to where he wanted to pick us up at, which door and side. He assured he would. Our flight showed up a few minutes early, never heard from driver so I called Scott(owner) no answer, left message and waited for baggage. Baggage arrived and called again, still no answer, left another message and headed outside, didn't see limo, called and sent text messages, no response until about an hour after first phone call when Scott finally answered the phone. Says he was sorry but they had a problem with the car and he has another that was at the airport and he could send it to pick me up. I asked why he didn't let me know prior to this point, no response. He asked where exactly we were and what I was wearing so driver would recognize me. Says he would be there within 5 minutes. Needless to say his limo never showed and I was able to get another one there. Nothing worse than unnecessary stress at the end of a trip because you hired the wrong limo service. Do yourself a favor and do not even think about giving this company a try.

We have lived in the Valley long before the Phoenix light rail was installed. The light rail no longer took us to the regular venues we have visited but dumped us off .8 miles from Chase Field. We were then supposed to cross an intersection twice and wait for another train. We waited in the heat until we just decided to walk to Chase Field. By the time we arrived, we were hot, thirsty, and miserable, and a train never passed by us, so one never came. Finding the train to return home was equally a huge pain! So we hadn't used the light rail again until yesterday to get to Chase Field on the 4th of July. We thought Valley Metro might have fixed this transportation catastrophe. They did not. In fact, it was worse! Valley Metro claims we could "enjoy the 8-minute walk" to Chase Field. Once again, no second train came, so we walked .8 miles in the blazing heat for 20 minutes (I checked my GPS to get an accurate distance and time)!! When trying to return home, we had to walk back to Central and had no idea which train would take us back. Valley Metro has ruined what originally was a good transportation option to downtown, but no longer. If anyone is elderly, has a disability, health issues, or trouble walking, avoid this mess! If you drive, take an Uber or a taxi, or even ride a horse, you will be happier if you need to go to an event downtown. Valley Metro should be ashamed of what they have done to what used to be good transportation.

ASU actually recommended using public transit in order to keep traffic and parking issues to a minimum ... but we didn't see a big influx in folks on the Light Rail! Service was prompt and fast, and it was easy to get from Downtown Mesa to the Stadium in about 20 minutes. Thankfully, the AC was on full blast, which we were thankful for, and the car we rode in was relatively clean. Aside from the transit itself, I feel that the app/purchasing system could use some upgrades. Our party loaded up their app with $30 to purchase tickets for everyone in our group who was attending graduation, but came to find out as we were about to board the train that you can only use the app to purchase the account holder's ticket. There are also no refunds once that money is in the app, which was upsetting to learn for the purchasers who live out of state. We stood in line at the stop to buy tickets the old-fashioned way, and it all worked out that night ... however I don't think it makes much sense that you cannot purchase tickets for others in the app, and wanted to voice those thoughts here in the hopes that changes can be made to better serve Light Rail riders.

I wasn't sure how well we'd do in the 115°+ temperatures, but it was no problem. The AC kept up, and the sleep at night couldn't be better. The trailer was clean and in great shape. Not a single complaint from my wife, daughter, not even the dog. The only problem is that the time went by way too fast so the next time we rent from them, we'll do it for longer than 3 nights. Len was great; made everything simple and easy to understand. I can't recommend them enough, and looking forward to the next rental!
