I contacted them and they never returned my call nor did they return my email. I understand they were busy with the snow removal and I was able to get my drive and sidewalk cleaned by a couple of neighborhood teens who did a wonderful job, however, I would like a return email concerning landscaping this spring. read more

Cutterz is back and fully staffed this season as an essential business to help care for our home landscaping and lawn. Cutterz is not only caring for our home but our neighbors as well this year. Cutterz already has applied a crabgrass preventer, a spring turf builder, cut and manicured our lawn with their team of specialist. Things have changed in the current environment where tackling projects and sourcing some services can be difficult. Cutterz though has found a way to keep 100%+ level of support, customer satisfaction, and is getting the job done. I have been searching a long time to find a good one, because at my age I am limited on my ability to perform yard work. Well, sadly my search continues. I hired them to trim 12 burning bushes at a cost of $350. Their performance was not what I expected. I assumed they would do a great job based on the wonderful photos shown at their website and the glowing reviews left by other Yelpers. I was left stunned and disappointed when I saw the mess they left me. They did not use a tarp to collect the clippings as shown at their website. And to top it off they used a leaf blower to clear the clippings along with the new mulch I just paid $1,400 to have delivered and placed. Additionally, the bush clippings and mulch were blown all over my front yard. I addressed my disappointment to them and their response was "sorry" and they reduced the price charged to $300. I take great pride in the beauty of my landscaping. I just need a company that feels the same and takes great care to keep it that way. As the saying goes "fool me once", but there definitely won't be a twice with this company. Yelp may want to reconsider their "guarantee" for this company. My advice to others is if you consider hiring this company, then you must accept the risk you might be left with substandard results and a mess to clean up yourself.

It also doesn't hurt that it's a stone throw from Traders Point Creamery for ice cream after. ;) We popped in to see what spring selections they had available to kickstart our bushes, vegetables and more. We were a few days ahead of some shipments coming in so we weren't able to find too much quite yet. It was still an enjoyable visit to see the earlier blooms and how everything is laid out. The only thing that held it up from a fifth star was we felt like the staff was withholding or not taking us seriously when we were asking for interest in ordering a magnolia tree. We were asking for price ranges and they wouldn't seem to give it to us even though we understood that they didn't have them available currently or that they may need to look it up. I can't help but feel like I thought we wouldn't be able to afford it or something of that nature. Otherwise, a not so bad experience. You will find everything from wind chimes, tropical plants, fairly mature trees, and birdseed here.
