I zeroed in on the reviews and the pictures posted. I reviewed each barber. I selected Nate as he had pictures of previous clients with similar hair to my son. I was able to get an appointment with Nate the next day and on a Sunday!! I work full time M-F and it's so difficult to conduct any business on a Sunday so I was thrilled. We arrived early and Nate was ready for my son. He was so personable and professional. He was at ease talking with my son and my son was also at ease. This is not always the case with a teenager. These guys were great. We did a walk in for my 4 yr old son and my husband and they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly. Chris and Nate did a wonderful job and both my boys look very pogi/handsome! We had to come back the next day to fix my son's hair as it was not sitting right but management was very understanding. Where do I start? I've had a full beard for three years. I usually trim it myself but I wanted to give a small business my support. First time there, unfortunately I was assigned Jerome for a simple trim. He literally did such a horrible job that my fiancee was in tears. I only wanted 1/2 inch off from the bottom just to clean it up, but he took off about 4-5 inches and shaved the sides and mustache. I drove straight home and shaved his horrible work off. He didn't listen to a word I said when telling him how I wanted it cut. It looked ridiculous. I asked him where he went to school and he told me his father was a barber. I should have asked him before he started. Before you say, why are you slamming them on Yelp without telling the management what happened, I called four times over three days to speak with the manager and/or owners and all four calls the gentleman said they're busy. Super impressed and will be coming back for sure. I've been trying to find a new place to get my haircut since the place I was going changed ownership and started charging me more for a women's haircut, even though I get a taper. Anyway, been shopping around to find a place that I feel comfortable with and like the results. I also needed it ASAP since I had a holiday party and my anniversary that week. Did a yelp search and thought I'd try the place especially since they had Monday availability and a coupon for 50% off for the thanksgiving weekend (I thought, if I didn't like it, I didn't pay full price). I explained what I was looking for - Taper with a 2 on the sides, trim the top, give me pointed "sideburns" and a natural line in the back. He did an amazing job and checked in frequently to ensure he was doing it correctly. He was also really conscientious of being gentle when combing and didn't drown me in water since I had product in my hair. He was polite and kind which made for a great experience. The shop was very clean with a really cool aesthetic. It's clear they cater to everyone and is not just a men's barber shop since they have a stand full of different fidget toys for kids and a purse holder which probably seems like NBD but as a mom, I appreciate the effort.
