Warrants a review because my experience at the pharmacy counter was expedient. Check in on your phone before your appointment, and I got my flu shot effortlessly. Got my prescriptions filled on the same day. Not much on customer rapport but efficient. If you are driving on the opposite side, the entrance lane can be dicey with cars turning into the numerous stores on Stadium. read more

Went there for a vaccination today and had another customer come up to me in line and try to maliciously infect me with COVID-19. I reported this to staff and was informed that the store has no policy against this and that I just shouldn't go there if I don't want to be assaulted in this fashion. One of the staff also appeared to have come into work with the disease. I'm extremely vulnerable and would probably not survive if I catch it. As such I will not be returning to this location where such behavior is allowed. I would give negative stars if I could. I only hope that I got away in time to avoid catching it today. read more

If I could rate them a zero I would - they gave me someone else's prescription to take home - never checked my liscense. I didn't realize it was wrong until the patient called me (we have the same last name). That is so dangerous. I just tried to transfer a prescription to them b.c. the pharmacy I changed too (because CVS is so bad) ran out of a med, so I called to have them call the pharmacy I changed to - they insisted the other pharmacy call them to transfer. It never works that way. I had to make so many phone calls - my current pharmacy had to call them and complain to them that this is never how its done. read more

While this is a relatively nice CVS, the service from the pharmacy lacked professionalism. I received treatment that was highly suspicious for bias. In addition, I was told to wait at the drive-through for the pharmacist who would be there shortly. The pharmacist did not come and no one notified us that they were actually closing. They basically closed the window and left. Unfortunately, the person behind me did not receive assistance. As a healthcare provider, it upsets me to think that any patient would receive this type of care or worse. This is unacceptable. read more

This CVS is a solid one. Clean, easy to navigate, and all the cashiers I've dealt with here have been helpful and friendly. I don't come here all that often since I live a little closer to two other drug stores, but they're across the street from my vet so I've popped in on occasion picking up OTC medicines for my pups, or toiletries and the like for myself. Haven't used the pharmacy so I can't comment on that. And I do kinda hate their parking lot (as I do pertaining to most businesses on that side of Stadium) but over all it's a solid option if you need something quick. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used. I'm embarrassed to say I've been a customer for over 10 years simply because of their location and just not taking the time to make a switch - no longer! If you call within 15 minutes of closing time, they'll put you on hold until closing and just leave, I guess? So you get hung up on after navigating the myriad of convoluted online menus that are put in place to deter you from talking to a human. About 20% of the attendants at the window/counter are friendly. The management must suck because they seem really unhappy. Good luck getting to talk to a real pharmacist. They can't be bothered. The store itself is a great CVS, but I had the WORST EXPERIENCE of my life with the Pharmacy. I myself am a nurse and know that those in the health care take an oath to do their duty to be compassionate and ensure the safety, health, and care of patients--these pharmacists turned their back on me, literally, and denied me healthcare. TAKE YOUR PHARMACY NEEDS to CVS on MAIN STREET instead! I had an outpatient (meaning no hospital stay after the surgery, just a short, under 2 hour recovery period with a nurse in a PACU) abdominal surgery under general anesthesia that would absolutely require pain medication (especially in the immediate time phase) that was prescribed to me by my surgeon. My surgery was in the late afternoon and the nurse finished up my PACU recovery time slightly early (but ensuring I was stable) so that I could get to CVS in time to get my prescription (the order had been placed a few hours before). The Pharmacy itself closed at 9pm, at 8:55pm we were just down the road less than 5 minutes away, I called the pharmacy to notify them that we knew they closed at 9pm and that I just had surgery and was coming for my prescription and that we would literally be there at like 8:59pm and giving them my name and prescription so they could have it ready and swiftly check out without keeping them late. I kept them on the line as we were approaching the store and as they kept telling me they were closing, I was crying and begging them to wait. We got into the parking lot at 8:59pm and the person on the phone kept saying "we're closed! We're closed!" My boyfriend ran inside as THEY WERE SHUTTING THE PHARMACY WINDOW GATE ON HIM and they shouted "WE'RE CLOSED!" So, coming off of anesthesia I was very emotional and sensitive, so I started having a complete meltdown wondering how I would get through the night when I couldn't even stand without assistance because of the surgical pain. My boyfriend had to inconveniently take off work the next day to get to CVS at the opening time in the morning so that he could get the meds because I was unable to drive. When he got their it was the same pharmacist that closed the gate on him the night before. He said she was very rude and still had not processed and put together the prescription that was ordered the day before (even after the fiasco that happened the night prior)! He had to wait for them to get everything together again (about 30 minutes), which is fine on a normal day, for a non-urgent prescription and if done promptly after a prescription is ordered but with post-surgery being managed at home, time is of the essence especially when she had all evening the day before and first thing in the morning...and obviously knew from our encounter the night before I NEEDED PAIN MEDS. And had the prescription been processed, checkout could have been done in under 2 minutes time (another reason probably why she just shut the gate, she was just unprepared and rude). The pharmacy staff had no compassion for me, and I'm sure this is not a unique situation. I'm not sure what the root cause of all this was. I try to be understanding, as I work in health care and know that many issues or delays in care are systematic issues such as staffing. If this pharmacist feels over worked and unable to efficiently process prescription orders then they need to hire more staff. Patients should not have to suffer and experience such distress. As a nurse, I could not imagine PHYSICALLY shutting a door on a patient when they asked for pain meds they had a legal right to and DENYING THEM HEALTH CARE for no reason. I understand closing time, and wanting to get home, but do people have no compassion? A person can't stay over 2 minutes, or get everything ready as I'm on the phone several minutes before closing telling them that I am minutes away?! Maybe my perspective is different as a hospital nurse (a place that "never closes")..but just because my shift ends at "7pm" doesn't mean I check out on my patient at 7pm on the dot or at 6:59pm (as this pharmacist checked out on me at 8:59pm...) I have compassion and must ensure that patients are safe and comfortable because it is my job and my LEGAL DUTY. I WOULD LOSE MY JOB AND POTENTIALLY MY LICENSE IF I DID TO ANOTHER PATIENT WHAT THIS PHARMACIST DID TO ME! This was a horrifying experience. Never in my life did I expect to experience something like this, especially as a healthcare worker. The general store is clean and great but this pharmacy is awful. Again, my advice is to take your pharmacy needs to CVS on Main Street in Ann Arbor. They fill up all of my regular medications promptly--my refills are ready usually a week before my current prescription is empty! read more

This CVS looks pretty clean and well kept (from the outside and inside). I found Chloraseptic for $6.89 and the CVS brand for $5.49, which was only $0.40-$0.50 more expensive than the online price at CVS.com. This is typical of Ann Arbor though. The cashier (Jamie) was really friendly, sweet, and funny! I could tell from just one minute of interaction. And it doesn't hurt that there was a really cute pharmacist working in the back. Please please do not use this pharmacy for anything related to getting a prescription. They've "been out" of my birth control for two days since I ordered a refill and they still haven't gotten it in. They didn't suggest I go somewhere else to get it filled I had to call another pharmacy and inquire. I can't not take my prescription for multiple days. They take a minimum of 25 minutes to answer any call, the woman on the phone today was so rude, huffed and puffed when I told her I need my prescription now. The woman at the other pharmacy even said I'm very sorry they're service there is always unacceptable. Please do not make this your pharmacy for anything other than what you can get over the counter. read more

The pharmacy is useless, you have to tell them how to do their job. If you don't have something in stock it should be first nature to offer to call nearby locations, and when you call and another location has it it should also be first nature to send it over electronically so it will be ready when you drive over to the other location. read more

This pharmacy is an absolute joke. Every time I have come here, there has been a delay. They give you a time when you call.. you arrive at that time... they tell you it'll be another 30 minutes... 40 minutes later, you ask for an update and they look at you like you're a nuisance and you sit for another 20. All the while caring absolutely -zero- about how poorly they are doing their job and serving the customer. Every. Single. Time. Could be for a major prescription or an anti-biotic... it doesn't matter. It is absolutely maddening... I switched to good ol' Meijer pharmacy and have never looked back. read more

I'm usually fine with how businesses are ran, but I would NOT recommend this pharmacy for anyone who needs their medication in a timely manner. This place is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to communication and helping you fill your prescription. I was in the drive thru waiting behind two cars for over 30 minutes. When I finally got to the window, the cashier told me that they were waiting for prior authorization DESPITE the fact that they called me just a few hours earlier telling me to pick up my medication at my earliest convenience. I've told them at least three times that I need to leave in the next couple of days, and her response was, "we can't do anything without a PA." Well guess what? I called my doctor and she said that the pharmacy received the PA this morning shortly before CVS called me to inform me to pick up my medication. I forget the cashier's name, but I don't really blame her. I blame whoever the manager is doing such a crap job of promoting a culture where CVS feels more like a DMV than a place where patients go to receive medicine. If you can help it, NEVER go to this location unless you are incredibly desperate, the world is ending, and every other pharmacy in the world has been destroyed. That is all. read more

It's a CVS, so it pretty much tops out at 3 stars. That said, the people who work at this pharmacy have always been really nice and helpful. At the CVS I used to go to when I lived in Washington DC, you were lucky if they even made eye contact with you, and luckier still if they managed not to lose your prescription or give you someone else's medicine (well, depending on the medicine). It's a nice change of pace to be greeted by friendly faces who take pride in doing their job well...in fact, this was one of the reasons we moved back to the midwest. I had a horrible experience at this CVS in Ann Arbor today with a very rude and obnoxious cashier. She didn't like how I was placing my items on the counter so she started yelling at me. When I asked to speak to the manager, she insulted me. Even when the manager showed up, she wouldn't stop. I strongly recommend that you do not shop at the CVS on Stadium. There are many other pharmacies in town where you can expect to be treated civilly. At this CVS, you might be disrespected, yelled at and insulted. read more

the best CVS Pharmacy I have ever been to. I moved to a different town and there is a reason i will travel out of my way past two cvs locations closer to me to get to this particular one on stadium. its simple...people want to shop in stores where they feel welcomed and leave feeling satisfied with their customer experience. well the same concept applies to patients and the pharmacy they choose to utilize . when a pharmacist is rude to me or i am put on hold or wait for hours to get helped , i mark it in my memory with a big red x to never go to that pharmacy again.its an instant decision. .the reason i put a heart in my memory file around this pharmacy is because they are the nicest group of energetic and helpful friendly pharmacists i have ever interacted with.. I never feel stupid for asking a question as they always are welcoming and kind. the energy is positive and they respond to you like a real live human being instead of the robot response that you usually get .. . Thats why i go here ..something as simple as kindness goes a long way with me as a customer ..its too bad the other pharmacies have not caught on to this common sense business concept but its nice to know at least this store did,....thank you cvs stafff for always being so lovely read more

Very frustrated with the pharmacy service today. I had several medications sent yesterday from my doctor and received an alert that one was ordered too early. I then called, spent 10 minutes waiting on hold and finally spoke with a pharmacist. She worked out the issue and said I could pick up my meds within 1-2 hours. I went the next morning and was told one of these medications was not available at the pharmacy and that it may or may not be in that day. I need the medication by tomorrow before going on a trip. Very inconvenient and frustrating, especially after speaking with the pharmacist the day beforehand. The clerks response was that "she probably didn't know we didn't have it." I'm not sure how this is an excuse as she told me it would be filled. I had to have it sent somewhere else and will not have to go out of my way to go to this alternative pharmacy. I don't think I will use CVS any longer. read more

I work in the customer service industry, so I understand how frustrating it can be working with customers, but the service I received was absolutely unacceptable. It doesn't matter which one of these CVS stores you talk about: they're all very nearly identical, right down to the advertisements they make you listen to and the CVS card they will ask you to produce or prod you to accept at every purchase. (Anyone else utterly bored with every single chain of every possible sort trying to get you to start using their card?) Anyway, judging from shelf space, those with liquor must make a good amount of their sales on it, and, since this is high-volume, low margin operation, you're likely to get a good value here, especially since Michigan a couple of years ago deregulated the prices that stores could charge for spirits. This is also true of the other drugstore chains. Like any low-margin operation, you'll find yourself standing in lines, or waiting for cashier help to show up from other duties. Next gripe is that there is no unit pricing, so bring your calculator if you want to know which sale or alternative to purchase. On the other hand, CVS offers a lifetime warranty on its blood pressure machines. The model I brought has a design defect that I won't bother to try to describe, and they've cheerfully replaced it I think four times in the last I think ten years, a hassle but better than the alternative. read more
