CVS has been extremely frustrating and honestly unacceptable to deal with. I've been trying to get my prescription refilled, but their system is apparently messed up and nobody there seems able to figure out how to fix it. This is medication people rely on, not something that should be delayed because of system issues. To make it worse, the man I spoke with on the phone was rude and actually hung up on me around 10:30 at night while I was still trying to get help with my prescription. That is not how customers should be treated, especially when it involves necessary medication. Very disappointing experience. read more

CVS won't automaticall mailmy filled prescriptions to me or set that up in my profile account. Then, the beleaguer me withtext messages and phone calls to come pick them up when iam disabled and housebound. They tell me to call and just now had t wait over 20 minutes to speak with someone who was rude and uncaring.. a horrendous operation from which I will depart on Monday. For a CVS, this one was A-OK. Went in looking for bug bite lotion and sunblock, they had both and an extensive selection. Counter was immediately available, smooth transaction. Large, clean CVS that is 24 hours. Viva! read more

If you're looking for a pharmacy, look somewhere else unless you have plenty of time to waste. I'm new to the area and needed a new pharmacy. Liked the 24 hr drive through option at this CVS. Called this CVS, chose pharmacy, and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. Thought this can't be right, so I called back. On hold for another 7 minutes. Called front desk to see if the pharmacy was open. Girl said she'd run back and check what's going on and would be right back and asked if she could put me on hold for just a minute. After 10 minutes I hung up and called Walgreen's. 2 rings, pharmacist picked up. He was very helpful. So my new pharmacy is Walgreens. read more

This is a very business pharmacy. VERY busy which can lead to long wait times. However Ashlynd (?) and Jenny make the time I spend there SO much less painful. They are FANTASTIC and do everything they can to make things easier for me and my family. read more

This CVS isn't bad. They open up lines when it gets busy. The pharmacy is always crazy with lots of orders. Sometimes you have to wait. Which leads me into my next thing....thanks to our drug addict, loser friends, they now keep all cold medicine behind the counter. So you need to wait in line at the pharmacy to ask for it and buy it - after they scan your ID like a criminal. read more

This review is for photo processing. Each time I get prints made from digital pics, at least a couple of them are chopped off at the ends. No one there has any explanation, or seems to care. I compose my photos carefully, using a good quality digital SLR. They are correctly cropped when I submit them to CVS for prints. As my photos are often part of legal documents that I prepare, I can no longer waste time or money at CVS photo. read more

This review is not so much about the CVS as the minute clinic in it. The nurse practitioner that was working was clueless, and asked me what medicine I wanted to take??!! What??? What did I wait 2 hours on a Sunday to see you for?? I should have payed the huge fee and gone to the emergency room!!! Unless you are ready to diagnose yourself ( thankfully mine is a reoccurring breathing problem) save the trouble and wait to see your regular doctor!! read more

This place is busy but it has to be because it is 24 hours. We go to the pharmacy but do not know why. There is a female pharmacist that I would say is the rudest most unprofessional person in Beverly. She yells and screams at customers and other workers. She yells your business out so the entire store can hear what is going on. I made the mistake of asking her once what over the counter drug I could take and I was belittled. I walked out once because something that I was promised 4 hours earlier was not ready and she was paging me to yell at me. I was having a high priced drug delivered there from CVS Caremark and she screwed up the order until I had to change where it was sent and she of course blamed me for them losing it. I keep hoping that management will take care of this but at some point I will have to move my 16 prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I check store hours on the minuteclinic website, it says 7pm. I go there, the time is 6:42 by the time I check in, the computer tells me they're not accepting new patients at this time. I hear laughing behind the door so I knock, the nurse practitioner opens the door and apologizes but she can't see me, she's with a patient now, the computers shut down at 6:45 and we aren't taking any new patients. So I look at my phone and it says 6:42, I tell her it's 6:42 and she laughs and says she can't help me, after I show her my spider bite and that all I need is an antibiotic so that I don't get cellulitis. Why would anyone go there to experience this poor level of service? read more

This is probably the best CVS in terms of service, cleanliness, and stocked shelves. They are not the best CVS for deals & coupon hunting, as they don't accept competitor coupons like their Rantoul St. location. That being said, I still get my prescriptions filled here; the pharmacists are generally really on top of things, though they can seem a bit flustered sometimes (then again, I would too, with long lines & odd customers). They also don't always have the display-coupons and seem to run out of the flyer by Sunday evening. All in all, a beautiful CVS, but the bargain shopper may prefer elsewhere. read more

This review is for the minute clinic. I was treated with no respect and felt as though I was not cared for at all. I have sinus infections all the time and since this was a holiday I could not see my regular doctor who usually prescribes me antibiotics, which ALWAYS work for me. Instead, this "nurse'' took my co-payment and told me to continue what I was doing, neti pot etc and she could not offer me any help because she did not see that I had a bacterial infection after taking one quick look at my nose. She wrote on my referral to the ER that i was "very upset at not getting antibiotics". my infection was so bad I went to the Emergency Room in which they gave me antibiotics right away. read more

Typically you wait in line forever..and sometimes the phone line is busy,but that is not the scary thing.. About 2 months ago they were so understaffed that they needed to bring in pharmacists techs.from other CVS. The excuse they gave to me openly twice.."CVS doesn't pay..we had 7 people quit this week". Although I feel for the employees..the one golden rule of Customer Service is that you do not burden your Customers with your problems and make excuses. It was way too much information. This went on for weeks! They completely messed up my scripts..and once they are filled and you pay ..there is no going back. Gave me the wrong dosage on 2 meds. And you have to reconcile that back with your Doctor. When I asked..how is it that a major corporation like CVS can't handle the number of customers and all the staff leaving.. and be in compliance with the laws..they had no response. It is being run like a local 7 eleven. For God's sake call up your huge corporate headquarters here in new England and get some help. I do not trust them to fill my scripts. read more

Another ridiculously poor example of retail customer non-service. went at 9:35PM to pick up a prescription for my aging mother. Third in line, two people serving the counter. The "customer" on the right gave the lady , I think name "Vanessa" could be wrong, a very hard time, called her ignorant argued and used profanity. She did throw his receipt at him and he left it and stormed off. I had decided to say something supportive to her, the guy WAS out of line. However she turned away, would not acknowledge or even make eye contact with me.She moved to the back counter, shuffled some papers, tore some up and discarded them and complained to someone who was probably a pharmacist. Last customer was an ass, so she is punishing me ? I am becoming less sympathetic. As the other attendant has a problem filling the other customer's order I look at my watch. I have been here 5 minutes now, and have not even been acknowledged. Pharmacy guy locates other customers order. 8 minutes have elapsed. I am still resolved to be pleasant, give name and birth date of my mother. Attendant looks for the script that they had said was ready earlier today. Searches through all bags on the rack and returns to the computer. Goes back and looks though all bags again. Returns again to the computer. Looks through all bags on the other side of the aisle, and the first rack again. Additional 6 minutes have elapsed. Goes through all bags AGAIN , this time also looks in what appears may be a refrigeration unit and locates the order (after additional 3 minutes). Rings it up at $45.55!!!, for 3.5 ml of a nasal Calcium spray "Calcitonin-Salmon". I ask if that price is after the insurance, she just says "Yeah" asks if I have any questions for the pharmacist. I have a few like " Are you NUTS?" or " Can you hire someone who can DO this job?" or " Why did the first attendant ignore me and tear up papers instead of waiting on me?" But why bother, they obviously don't care. Twenty minutes when there are no customers in the store and three people working the counter? Other reviews here say they are understaffed because they don't pay enough. I think they are OVER paid for the quality of service they deliver. Zero stars would be appropriate. read more

There is not a single competent employee, they are rude, and they don't seem to care about their customers. This is the worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever used. I get a text that my prescription is ready, I go to pick it up, and every single time I pick up my prescription it is "lost", they need to fill it again and I need to wait at least 20 minutes. If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. The never answer the phone, my prescription is never ready on time, and they have given me the wrong medication a few times. Wish I had gone to this one instead of Danvers. Went in with sinus headache, post nasal drip, sore throat, and a nonstop cough with sore muscles and ribs. I was told I had pharyngitis, cough, acute bronchitis, wheezing and allergic rhinitis. She told me it was all viral and that I didn't need an antibiotic even though I was born with bronical asthma and get allergy shots because I'm allergic to just about everything outside. Now I have make an appointment with my own Dr. to get an antibiotic to clear this all up. What a waste of time. Should have know the clinic was to good to be true. read more

Horrible, incompetent staff at the front of the store. What was supposed to be a relatively quick, lunch hour visit to pick up some items turned into a one-hour debacle spent just there due to a woefully inadequate cashier--who talked to customers in line while in the midst of trying to remedy her mistakes, like it was her social hour. This is a review of the Minute Clinic, not of the CVS itself. I signed into the automated portal at the Minute Clinic and was put on the waitlist with only one person ahead of me. After waiting for over 30 minutes, the nurse practitioner came out and said she was sorry but she wouldn't be able to see me b/c they had to close at 7pm. I asked her why the portal had let me sign in (it's supposed to stop you from signing up if there isn't enough time left - and in fact, I was the last person it let sign up - about 3 women came up after me and it wouldn't take them) if there wasn't enough time and mentioned I had been waiting for over 30 minutes. She looked at my name on the portal, asked if that was me, and when I said yes she said "well I'm sorry but we have to close at 7pm". When I asked again why it let me sign in, she said the last patient had taken longer than usual. I asked her why she hadn't come out and told people, b/c if she had I would have been able to go to another CVS clinic or urgent care clinic to try and see someone. Telling me at 6:45 didn't leave me time to go anywhere except the emergency room. She repeated what she'd already said and told me I could come back tomorrow. When I told her I couldn't, she went back to saying they had to close. I was so disgusted with her insincere tone that I just left. She was rude, inconsiderate and completely disrespectful of my time and illness. You're running a healthcare practice, not a beauty salon. It should not allow you to sign up and tell you that you will be seen, if the nurse practitioner is able to just waltz out and say no. And if it's an issue of CVS not wanting to pay overtime, then shame on them for not crafting better hours or hiring more nurse practitioners. If the clinic has to close at 7pm, then perhaps they should stop taking patients at 6pm. It was a very negative experience and has made me think twice about visiting a MinuteClinic ever again - and I will definitely not be attending the one in Beverly! read more

They have gotten oh! so clever in tricking you into signing agreements before they will give you your prescription! Latest scam: You go in to pick up your prescription and are asked to sign an agreement on the screen. The agreement is to use your phone number for telemarketing. If you tell the clerk you don't want "automated marketing calls," she tells you she cannot give you your prescription unless you sign. And, of course, nobody in the store is "authorized" to over-ride this "policy". Object loudly enough and you can get a "printout" that has a phone number you can call to "opt out" of the marketing scam. The whole thing sounds illegal. I have another prescription to pick up and if they try to force me to sign I will tell them to give me my prescription or I am calling the police. read more

Don't go there for prescriptions. Over the past year they have gotten worse and worse. Promised time for pickup is a joke. You stand in line or sit for up to an hour or longer. 3 days ago I was back for the third time in as many days and my medicine still wasn't ready. "We're backed up," said the clerk. No kidding! Hire more help. Once you get to the head of the line you aren't necessarily going to get your meds. They search around through racks of bags which seems an ancient way of doing things. Half the time they can't "find" yours. Then it's a game of "20 questions" to find out where it is. No one back there seems to have a clue. Totally unprofessional. I seriously am considering taking my business to the Walgreen's across the street. They usually have few customers so the wait can't be very long. If CVS keeps screwing up this way, then Walgreen's will have LOTS of customers very soon. By the way, the CVS store manager is never on site. read more
