Then they filled a script with only 7 pills. When I called and asked, I was told that I had to fix their mistake. After I received a call from the "manager" I was told it was basically it's my fault and I should just pay the cost because I got the medicine. My doctor's office sent the prescription over more than 24 hours ago, so I sent my spouse to pick it up. He was told that I wasn't in the system and that they hadn't received anything. I called my doctor's office, and they confirmed that the prescription had been sent. When I called the pharmacy back, I was then told that they were not accepting new patients for this medication so they just filed it. So how am I not in their system? That was surprising, especially since they filled the exact same medication for my child just last week without any issues. At no point did anyone call to let me know there was a problem. Initially, we were simply told the prescription hadn't been received. There also didn't seem to be any concern that I was now out of a medication I've taken daily for years. I make a point of supporting local businesses whenever I can instead of larger chains, but based on this experience, this won't be the pharmacy our family of five chooses going forward.
