Great local always friendly and helpful workers.... Don't love the lines in the pharmacy department buttt it is what it is

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this CVS location. I went to self-checkout and simply needed help scanning three coupons since I had issues the day before. The employee, James, scanned two coupons and walked away before I was finished, without saying anything and without asking if I needed more help. I was able to eventually call him back, but when he returned he gave me an attitude and said I should have been able to do the third coupon myself. This exchange was completely unnecessary and could have been avoided if he stayed and helped me. Then, he went to tell the store manager, Lillian, who approached me with the same dismissive attitude. Instead of listening to what actually happened, she interrupted me and immediately began arguing and defending him. When I asked her, "Why are you defending him without hearing me first " she responded, "I can say what I want, it's a free country." That response was shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. All I wanted was a little assistance, but instead I was met with attitude and hostility from both, an employee and the store manager. I did not hear words such as "How can I help you" or " do you need more help" or any words of apology. CVS needs to seriously look into how customers are being treated at this location. read more

My mom and I came to CVS today and some guy behind the register told us to use the self checkout. We don't know how to use it. They are a nuisance. Not everyone knows how to use it. We went back on line only to be told that the man behind us was next. Ah we were. We were already on line. We had to use the self service check out and it is aggravating and a headache. I have been trying for four years to straighten my brothers account it seems he has several accounts open and it messing up his medications i had a hard time with his doctor because of this. Its always crowded so they rush you out there's always a line no place to sit. Its such a horrible pharmacy read more

This pharmacy does not always have the items that I need. The staff is not very helpful nor friendly.

They have provided me great service through very hard times. They have delivered medicine when I could not make it to the store. Being sick has made me emotional, and they have been patient and helpful down the line. read more

The pharmacy is very bad organized. First the send to the customer the message to cellar phone that they received the prescription from my doctor and I can pick it up. This is just a small box with Counter next strips. It is not the pills which they have to count or something they have to order. This is just a small box with the strips. I am 77 years old and after stroke and with diabetes When I come to the pharmacy usually it's a big line to pick up the prescription. In my case that small box with the strips. I stand in the line. No matter everything is very difficult for me. However when I come to the counter each time the answer is NO. NO INFORMATION ABOUT YOU IN COMPUTER. NO YOU PRESCRIPTION. GO TO INFORMATION I show them the message on my cell phone with invitation to come to pick up my prescription. The answer is the same: NO. GO TO INFORMATION. I go to information window. The representative again type something on her computer and ask me the same questions about my name and DOB. The answer is the same -- NO INFORMATION ABOUT ME. However the representative sends me to seat and wait until they prepared my order -- just to take the box from the shelf and put it to the small paper bag. I warning: do not leave the pharmacy to wait outside. Otherwise you have to stay in a big line again. Why? Nobody knows. OK. I seat and wait about 20 minutes. No attention. Then I go to the information window again and ask where is my order. Information woman sent me to the cashier. Cashier looked up at the box standing behind her --found nothing. She went around came back, again looked to the box behind her and eventually found my small bag with the small box inside. All that time I was standing and waiting. Awful service. Unprofessional stuff. Awful place. The price for the same strips and its amount each time is different from for free or $4 or $16 plus. Why? Nobody knows. Nobody can explain. And the same story and procedure Iis repeated each time I have to pick up my strips. Thanks G-d I have amount 100 and use one strip a day. However usually sometimes unfortunately several strips in the box are not good and I have to use another strip. read more

No complaint with the pharmacy,but the last few months with different managers buying merchandise has become increasingly harder. From refusal to ring up,to denial over a Care Pass credit, i' m going to do as much purchasing as possible in another location like the Sheepshead store. The Neptune one rarely has anything worthy to buy, and is always out of basics. These businesses should do more for Customer Service and less budget on ads. CVS on Neptune Avenue, Brooklyn, has really declined in the past year. Their self-checkout machines don't accept cash, there are no staff at the registers and the line to checkout, with the one person to manually handle the checkout machines, is extremely long. Last week I waited 20 minutes to checkout when there were 3 people in front of me. This is the usual experience at the store, so I don't use it for anything else aside for pharmacy service. I will not patronize this CVS for any retail items if they don't improve their checkout process. read more

This CVS is by far the worse store for filling your RX's. The staff is unprofessional, disrespectful and liars. They cater to the Russians and are rude to Americans. This store has been reported to CVS Caremark, Medicare and all complaints are on file. Sadly, it wouldn't let me post without a star. One star is far too good for this pharmacy. read more

Just shopped until I dropped at this pharmacy store, and I found everything I was looking for. This store is located conveniently near my church, so I was able to go right after church. The store is neat, tidy and very clean. The store clerks were very attentive and courteous to my needs. I found help even when I did not need it. read more

CVS performance is no different from any other huge drug store chain- they just do not give a shit about their customers health- only their money. Sending endless texts to renew prescriptions and get a 3 month supply and when you give them the OK they only give you a few pills- no 3 month supply. As far as COVID shots, when I was there and tried to schedule the booster I was told- No, you have to do that online. So, I go online and saw that the schedule was full for the next ten days. Fine, except when I was there this morning I saw NO ONE waiting for shots. I asked the person doing the shots why no one was there since their on-line schedule was full. She said only 3 people showed up for shots. So, they are completely f-cked up and unreliable. I imagine that this is no different from any other pharmacy. Totally incompetant and unreliable. The world is quickly going to hell and this is just a small example. read more

I was approached and told too leave over the loud speaker because I was taking too long picking a nail polish color? I would never imagine myself giving 1 star for a store like CVS, it's pretty average, or it should be, to warrant a Yelp! review. But the rude cashier-- Ebony made it an awful experience for me. She was the only person working the registers-- that's already bad but I would have looked through that if it weren't for her nasty attitude towards me. She didn't ask me if I had a CVS card, a red flag; she asked everyone else that were before me for one. I showed her one anyway and she repeated the same price for me to pay but with a nasty edge to her voice. I paid and she threw me my change and my bag. She didn't even say "thank you", or "have a nice day." Her cold shoulder would not be such a bad thing, but then she immediately began ringing up the next patron's items, completely ignoring me WITHOUT giving me my receipt. When I asked for it she pulled it out annoyingly and shoved it in my hand. Then, in an effort to embarrass me, she yelled "you're welcome!" when I took off. Right, after being so rude and ignoring me I was somehow obliged to thank her for her awful treatment of me. I wonder why she was rude to me and am lead to believe it was because of the way I looked or because I'm white. If you work a customer service position, you should be nice on the job, because that's your JOB. Ebony should be fired immediately. Needless to say, I returned my item the next day. It's the worse run CVS pharmacy I have ever seen. Under manned, rude staff and because they serve all Coney island and Brighton Beach

Went to take a passport photo and also print photos from my phone . The man that helped me I think was a manger not sure I didn't get his name but the experience at this location was beyond great . Even for the most simple thing he made me feel good and also helped me with the Kodak machine. He was great and the environment was great .. Thank you guys !!!! read more

This one star is due to the customer service for sure. I was trying to ask the MANAGER AT THE REGISTER whether or not the extra dollars on a $12 purchase with a $15 coupon would roll over so I could get my money's worth and he told me I cannot purchase things without money and I cannot get things for free. I was so confused he basically told me to hurry up with my question so he can take care of the next person in line. Will only come here in case of an emergency.
